It's here! (less than 24 hours to go and you won't have to hear me ramble on... )
My hubby is a genius! He made a video of his set up for tonight. I hope that you can see the link.

He made everything out of pieces and parts of stuff we had around the house. He is so mechanically-minded, I don't know how the heck he does it! He gets such a kick out of building stuff and and even bigger kick when people say how awesome it is. He needs this so much. He feels "useless" in so many ways and this is a big ego boost. Sometimes I get aggravated when he disappears into the basement for hours and hours and I really need to keep in mind that this is so good for him, like how I get out of my head when I garden.
Yesterday I had a good appt with my LLMD!!!!! I know, CRAZY, right???? She has me on this totally unconventional protocol, but it seems to be working. We finally found the right dose of Rocephin that doesn't kill my white blood count or make my liver enzymes go up. The 2 week break from IV abx shows that I still need to be on the abx, but that the effects of being off of it is getting less intense. A few cycles ago, by the time the 2 weeks had ended, I could barely move or think. This last break was bad, but not nearly as bad as it had been. She was thrilled-- usually she throws her hands up, not knowing how to treat me or Gary, since we seem to be so resistant to tx. This was a big breakthrough. Yippppeeeeee! :clap2:
I still have a long road ahead- still on IV, and I see her again in 2 months, hopefully showing more progress.
I also decided that I wasn't going to add in any more cleaning clients until after the holidays. I am now bumping up against Thanksgiving, Christmas, the Craft Fair, shopping and baking. Last year I was a wreck- and the holidays were really bad for me. I don't want to go through that again. So I deal with a bit more credit card debt. Whatever. :noidea:
Today I have to bring both dogs to the town's free rabies clinic. I think Gary is going to come with me. I think Jaida will be a *bit* hard to handle there. Ray will be a piece of cake, she will just cower behind my legs, poor thing. Then we will finish setting everything up inside and out. I hope it all goes well.
Hope that everyone has an amazing day!
