I am ex-haust-ed. Whatta weekend.
I started cooking and cleaning around 9 and didn't stop until everyone left at 8. I thanked Caitlyn again for not making me bake the other cake. I'll tell ya, eight people and three different main dishes... it was a lot. The marinade for 1/2 of the pork chops and the tofu was the same, but I had to make a low-sodium version for my parents. I had to be careful not to mix up the meat and vegan utensils. My trick is that the green silicone ones are vegan. All of the different areas of my tiny kitchen were set up with different ingredients and dishes, and just ugh--
One good note is that everyone said what a nice time they had. That makes it worthwhile. ♥
I got most of the dishes washed last night. Today I'm finishing them up and putting them all back where they belong.
Aside from that, I need to come up with a meal plan/grocery list to last until I get back from the shore.
I cannot wait to get outta here! At this point, I don't even care if it rains all three days. I'll bring some books, sit on the hotel porch, and watch the waves.
I have loose ends for work to figure out today, too...See if anyone wants to carpool to the conference with me. It's going to take an hour and a half from my house, more if there is traffic. I might not hit too much on the way down since I have to be there at 8.30, but coming home it's going to be a b****. It's over at 4.30 pm, and I'll be hitting I-287 traffic the entire way home.
I wonder if I should take Rt 202 instead? It's probably better if I stay on 287 the entire time, it is the same way I get the the shore from my mom's house so at least I am familiar with it.
Anyway, that's my crazy days- past and present.
Is there anything else I am supposed to do today? Hmmm...

I don't know, @AK_Tracy-- is there something I have to do, or maybe move?
I'll be posting the week 4 AJ challenge as soon as I finish here.

Hugs!
