17!! When the HECK did that happen????? Just a few days ago, I was getting ready for my labor to be induced, and I had changed my mind, wasn't ready to have another baby. Nope, not doing it, she could just stay put where she was. Now, she is 17? (guess it is good that she came out when she did or it would be pretty hard for me to get around) :pound:

I brag about my kids all of the time and today will be no different. I am sooooo damn proud of her. She is amazing. Just beautiful inside and out. Funny, intelligent, caring. OK-- she is also stubborn and a brat on occasion too, but I couldn't ask for a better DD.

Enough about that-- how are all of you doing? Did you have a good weekend? I hope so! The weather turned out to be nice and sunny, but it is feeling more like fall. Gary even put a sweatshirt on this morning so you know it must be cool out. Me-- I am always all wrapped up, so you can't judge by me.

Today I am food shopping and then I have to call my ins. company. They have my billing all screwed up. And i am still getting billed by Cancer Care from last year, even though I had dealt with this on their end and my ins co's end several times. I guess if I need to burn off some agitation and anger after I do that, I can start cleaning the house a bit for the party. Scott had an "incident" with the blender the other day and his smoothie kind of went everywhere. He cleaned the counter and floor perfectly, but the wine glasses overhead got splattered and he didn't think to check them out. What guy would look up? LOL

Signing off with hugs and god happy thoughts!

xoxo

Trudy- You will have to take pics of the growth chart when you are all done with it, I looove seeing your art, you are amazingly talented. and I admire that.
Your Gary is a trooper, mine would have not been happy at all about having to see townhouses. Keeping my fingers crossed that her favorite is the farthest from you hahahah!

Claire- sounds like Robbie is a absolute joy and that you know exactly how to work with him in the best ways. Eva, an old O-Fam member, has a son who has Asperger's IIRC, or something on the Spectrum, and she had to do the same kinds of things for him.

Shar- If you have already done what you needed to do on the Guest CT spot- you def. deserve a breather!
 About you yelling the Leave off the NOW!!! The four of us were in the kitchen talking yesterday afternoon, and that exact same thing came up-- I can't remember the exact topic of discussion, but I do remember saying, well I didn't think 10 years ago we would still be in this mess hahahah!!!
Your comment make me literally laugh out loud- more of a snicker/snort/guffaw hee hee!!!
Hope your D-GD had a great time!

Morning Chris... a quiet morning so far here at the "O" I was up very early with my Gary and so made some steel cut oatmeal for us for breakfast. Tummy is warm and full!! It looks like we will have a sunny day here today. Yesterday was as Sharron said, windy but very warm and stormy, last night the temps dropped and it is cool here now. Wow your little girl is 17 years old today, how wonderful!! I bet you are in awe at how quickly the years have flown by!! You have every reason to be a proud Mama, she is really a beautiful young woman inside and out!

Sharron - Yes it seems that Swimco is only a Western Canadian Franchise I don't think they even have any stores past the Manitoba Province. I use a exfoliating soap from SaltSpring Island Soap Works to get that chlorine smell off of me it seems to work very well.

Your body wash sounds like it would be good too!

Claire - Whoops sorry I thought that Robbie was your DH for some reason. Thanks for the info I should tell you a bit about me too. I am married to Gary (retired RCMP) still working full time though with the Municipality of North Cowichan. I have a Son (Jason) and a Daughter (Heather) three beautiful grandchildren, but sadly all my kids and grands live very far away from us. We FaceTime or Skype a lot thank goodness so I get to see their sweet faces, not quite the same as real life, but it will have to do. :becky: I am retired and loving it. I worked for Scotiabank for approx. 20 years and then worked a couple of part time jobs just to have a bit of spending money and fill the days, but happy to not be working anymore!!

Anyway enough of that, time to get my running shoes on and get out for a nice walk today, tomorrow will be back to the pool and getting my hair done, can hardly wait, I look like a shaggy dog LOL. Have a great day everyone!!

I just heard of a new Club I am in...and you all probably are too:

S A B L E: Stash Acquisition Beyond Life Expectancy

ROTF! That applies to me in the areas of fabric and digital supplies.

I was alone in the pool again today...still on borrowed time because the other pool hasn't reopened yet. I can tell the lifeguard wishes I weren't there. She has to sit and watch me the whole time now...no helper. She never smiles or seems cheerful.

Happy Birthday to Cait! Hope she has a wonderful day.

We are looking forward to enjoying Clara's company today. :) I also plan to make a birthday card for a friend who's birthday is tomorrow. Also, got more grandchildren pictures to scrap. Always love THAT.

Morning, dear Ozzies. I think I'm back from a week under the weather. It may have been in part a reaction to stress. Anyway I don't deal well with it. Lovely here with bright sun, a little cool, but I like that. While fixing breakfast a bunny was running around the yard looking cute.

Chris, amazing Cait's 17! Yup, good thing you're not still carrying her around. Hope you get somewhere with the messed up ins. stuff.

Trudy, seems nice to know there are still companies that are only regional, not world-wide. I never understand why only bigger is good. Hope all works out with the SIL.

Sharron, I agree, you deserve a break in the CT since you've already been hard at work. I know you put lots into the pages you do for any project. Too bad for the life guard, she has to be there anyway!

Hope it's a good one for everyone.
