Well. You would think that I am all rested and relaxed this morning. You would be half-correct. I am not as tired as I was yesterday, not super-stressed, but the day is still young. haha. :thumb:

I did what I needed to do to get ready for food shopping. Ignored most of the housework. (that was the easy part!) But when I sat down to scrap, I struggled. I had good photos, I had an idea in my head. But darn it, I am feeling so stuck in that rut that I am disliking all of my pages.

The other bummer is that all of my electronics are still giving me issues. My phone won't connect to the house wi-fi. My iPod won't either. The audiobook that I borrowed- and returned- to the library won't sync in iTunes or onto my iPod. Itunes says that the files are there, but I can't play them nor sync. I need to get Gary to help me.

Today, I am off to the supermarket. it is my last day os the $10/off coupon to the newer store. Scott is taking my car to school because the wipers stink on the VUE. He has further to go, I only have to go over the mountain, so that is only about 20 minutes and country backroads. He has a section of highways where the NY State Thruway, I-287, and Rt 17 all merge. He has to be able to see clearly with 7-8 lanes all crisscrossing.

After that, I have to deal with dinners. The weather here is so warm and humid that it feels more like summer food should be cooked. Cait wants broccoli cheddar soup, but not when it feels like 80* in here.

I hope my Canadian friends had a wonderful holiday yesterday.

xoxoxo!!!

Oh my goodness, will someone :banplease:?? All I do is complain! Ugh!!!!

Something good that is happening: My dogs are getting along much better, yesterday all three were squished on the sofa sleeping. W was resting her head on R's leg. So sweet! And they are done with the Panacur for the Giardia. Well, not W, she has another round in three weeks. But R is don't with the pills for her leg lesion (all her fur has grown back!! yay!!!!!!) and last night's dinner prep was so easy. the only "special" thing was that I had to add rice to W's.
It isn't cold. It might be humid, but I am wearing shorts and a T-shirt. Also a good thing!

I have to post this, I need to move Cait's car so Scott can out of the driveway.
I will be BRB!

One last complaint-- will people slow down driving on my street? It is a 25 mph road, and if you see someone is trying to back out of a driveway and you are speeding, I CAN'T see you!-- :gaah:

whew, got that out of my system :D

Nancy- that must have felt so weird having it feel like summer and then off to the game. Good for you for not giving a s***when you know that you are right. Especially about the camera, like really?? Most cell phones have much better cameras/videos than a regular standalone camera. *eye roll*
Awesome on the win!!! How funny to watch the game that you saw live on the DVR hahah!!

Rae- how was your dinner, must have been nice to have everyone with you and hopefully no germ spreading! Ray is like that, she got so foamy once it looked like she had a Santa Claus beard. Yuck! Poor Whisky hasn't been able to get to the dog park yet. She will be able to go after she finishes the last round of Panacur. We can't take a chance of her pooping there and another dog picking up the parasite. But I am sure that Taz had a blast on his walk yesterday.

Jean- that is strange but serendipitous to get your Amazon order. Enjoy working on your mysteries, must be neat pulling all of those threads and see what come out of it.
Kids stuck it out and stayed dry. The tent has to be up until it stops raining but that isn't an issue.
At this point- if the sun is out and it is over 65*, I am going to want to be there, so I am with you on thinking I should pack up my beach chair, my book, my mom and go!
:D

Hugs to all of you!

Good morning, ladies!
They finally give us materials, so yes I'm back to work (thank you to asking!). I did not suppose I'll be so glad for that! But after the half months of free time, now I have some difficulty in organizational nature to get back to the routine. So I'll be very exhausting day. I couldn't find time yet to left comments at the gallery, but this weekend makes me so happy! So many people share their love to their fur babies, so lovely! :pupkiss:

Chris, so sweet about the dogs. I totally understand you about the street! I hate our new sidewalk, these days some children with bikes use it to test their bells, it's so noise. Good luck at the the supermarket with the deals hunt! Oh and no one have something against your ''complain'', I'm pretty sure at that, and personally I like the descriptive posts :ranger: !

Rae, it's awesome that all of your family are feel good enough for holiday dinner! Oh, yes, the wardrobe arranging is made, but I don't feel it like some very good system. I just put the autumn/winter on front of others clothes. But I really have to be more careful to wear all of them, because I have some favorites and some that stays almost new. The good news is that the list from things that I need to renew for the next summer this time is really short.

Jean, after the grocery my sister was really tired and she was not in the mood for baking pie. So I have to I had to agree to a bought pastry. But they was good too. Good that your committee have new members, hope they brings fresh ideas which to helps not to confuse!

Nancy, WOW, this attendant is been jerk, good that your not let this spoil your good mood! And I have the same feeling about the shopping as you. It was exhausting, but we do find some good deals, so it wasn't wasting of time.

Trudy, I'm curious to hear how was at the Vineyard and especially for the bakery. Did they had something Keto?!

Have a lovely day, all!

good morning - today is Columbus day in the US but not sure anyone really celebrates it any more. There will be a parade in NYC and my Devils have a 3pm game in Buffalo. That will be fun to watch as I cook dinner. Yesterday was calm. Got in a walk with Luther and one this am too before the rains begin. Nate is bringing us lots of rain today. My DH went grocery shopping and did not buy milk but then came home and used all the milk. Really! I need milk for my cereal so now I will have to go so stupid. My son and I watched TV together and it was pretty fun. First football but then changed to hockey and then during commercials watched the Yankees and saw the amazing Byrd home run. The only run and it keeps the Yankees hopes alive for one more day. Then at 8 it was my weekly Outlander fix. It was fantastic! But now we have to wait 2 weeks for the next episode. such a bummer. but the best is that my son watched it with me and now he is hooked. He was so surprised at how good it was. I had to fill him in on some of the background stuff but now he is going to catch up. I will be interested in seeing how it goes.

Now for just one thing that I find disturbing. Yesterday Vice President Pence went to an NFL football game and made a big statement when he left when the NFL players did not all stand. Well I looked up the Code for the flag and it shocked me but according to the official code it is not disrespectful to kneel. But there are so many things that are like having the flag on clothes or in ads but that is never talked about. What a waste of our tax money to have him go to the game from Las Vegas only to fly back to a fund raiser ($2700 entry fee) in California.

Chris I know what you mean about the weather it is so humid I almost wish it would just rain and get it over with. And I too do not want to prepare a winter meal on a day like today. Yes my street drivers go way too fast. They put in dips but that has not really helped. Glad that they did not get too wet in the tent. We had rain in the mid morning yesterday that lasted about 15 min and then just humid. Hope that the electronics begin working together. Maybe they don't like the humidity either. So glad the dogs are doing so well!

Trudy and Rae hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Jean finding all that out for the history is so cool!

Felis waving hi!

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. Yesterday did not go as planned at all. In the early afternoon I texted to ask Jen if she wanted to go for a walk with Taz or just wait and come a bit later for dinner. I didn't hear back so then called, no answer and then called again a bit later. Finally she called me, hadn't heard her phone and hadn't received the text (later found out she had it set to wifi only). She had been so sick all wk that she had foggy brain and thought dinner was on Monday. So then she was scrambling to reach Bailey to let her know, who wasn't answering her phone or texts. So she went to Bailey's to explain the mixup and Bailey went ballistic on her. Screamed and swore at her, Jen was so hurt and shocked at the outburst, she had to leave and Bailey was still screaming and swearing at her as she left. She called me and was going to go home, she felt so guilty for messing everything up and causing Bailey's paranoid neurosis about it being a ploy for Jen to wreck her birthday and was feeling so depressed about it that she wanted to get go home and crawl into bed. I said no, she did nothing wrong, just made a mistake which was understandable b/c she was so sick and Bailey's behavior is totally inappropriate. I told her I don't often step in between their relationship but this time I will. I will be having a calm voiced but firm talk with B about last wkend, how we all forgave and understood her messing up her birthday plans with us and now when Jen does it she goes crazy. I will be chatting with her about what it means to be an adult, to show respect and how disappointed I am in her behavior.

Ugh....the drama in my family sometimes. So Jen came over and thanked me for being supportive. She has so much to deal with, it overwhelms her sometimes, poor girl. So we had a turkey dinner which I didn't really enjoy b/c I eat chicken all the time, so the turkey wasn't that much different, being keto I didn't eat all the fixings, just some coleslaw and a bit of gravy with my turkey. It was so not worth all the hours of cooking and cleanup. So I suggested that Xmas be something different, not turkey ,which we've had my whole life every xmas so it'll be weird to do something different but it could be fun too. I'm thinking a spiced meat, a casserole and some side dishes. We have lots of time to think about it. Jen brought dessert for her and D, I made a keto cake in a mug for myself with white chocolate SF syrup which I enjoyed. We finished off the night watching the final movie in the twilight series and loved it.

So that was a totally different thanksgiving/birthday party than I was expecting LOL.

I rambled on longer than I expected to, so I'd better go get a few things done and I'll come back later. Hope you are all having a great day.

Ok, back for a few minutes. Got a bit of chores and work done and taking a break for a minute.

Chris - so cute to hear of all the dogs cuddled on couch together. You've got the warm weather, we've got the damp chilly weather now.

Felis - I know how its hard to get back into a normal work schedule but I bet it feels good to be getting back to steady work again. Hope you settle into your schedule again quickly.

Nancy - sounds like you're enjoying your sports and how fun to share it with your son. We're starting to get lots more rain now too so I've been trying to get out with Taz in between storms. We've got a lot of rain in the next few weeks (back to our typical wet BC weather) so its nice to get out in the dry weather when possible.

Jean - yes, I've done that many times too....almost finished a long post, then hit a wrong key and it all disappears...ugh.

I've refilled my coffee, got my EO diffuser going, my office smells lovely, and I'm getting back to work now. Have a great day everyone.
