OK. *deep breath* I got this.
Sayin' it again.
I. GOT. This.
I do. I can and will put all of the stress, uncertainty, and anxiety of the last few weeks (honestly-- 2 years but who is counting? LOL) behind me and I am moving forward. I am waiting for the postcards to encourage voter turnout to get here and I can request another pack today. I voted. My family has voted. I can't stress over the next month of pre-election polls and guesswork. God knows that is going to be bonkers however you look at it. I don't understand how and why elections are viewed as entertainment and horse races. :noidea:

How was everyone's weekend? Yesterday was another blah kind of day. I finished that scrap page but I still need to tweak it somehow. It just isn't "right." I was getting more tired sitting in front of the computer and needed some fresh air, so I took W for a walk and Caitlyn and Scott came with me too.
Gary was able to fix the wiring for the wired router and that has helped my computer but the wifi signal is still very weak so the kids' laptops are not working all of the time. What is the saying, it is always something? heh!!

Today, I am working on all of my favorite things- bills and food shopping lists. If the weather holds, I might try to get some more of the dead plants cut back. Scott needs to mow the lawn too but it is supposed to be rainy a bit.

Have a fantastic day!!

Nancy- I was listening to WDHA the other day and they said that the Devils were in Sweden and I thought Nancy is too! Didn't expect you to be at the same hotel but how totally awesome is that! And it is very impressive that you were remembered and recognized by the Pres and GM. Cool!!!

Trudy- It sounds like you had a very nice Thanksgiving with the family. Were you able to get everything that you needed at Walmart? What projects are you working on? I am a slight tiny fraction of a sliver closer to thinking about Christmas craft gifts. I am scrolling on Pinterest, so that is a step in the right direction.
Hope that your day wasn't soggy the whole time.

Jean- Did you ever get to see some sun by you yesterday? We had a bit of clearing late in the afternoon which is why I was able to get W out for a walk.
Even though it is taking scrap time away from you, at least you enjoy the genealogy work that you do. Yes, NJ has very early voting for mail-in ballots. *fingers crossed for a better result this election*

Rae- give B a hug from all of us here at the O.

xoxo

No sun yesterday but today is lovely. I didn't do any of the things I'm supposed to have done over the weekend, so better get to them. Did the bills while DH was at Hum & Strum.

Chris, well, some things improved I guess with the wiring for internet better now, but bummer with the wi-fi for the kids' laptops. Hope you get some sun to make it easier.

Hope the week is starting well for everyone.

Good late morning ladies... another very rainy day here. Another good day to get the rest of the housework done, cleaning bathrooms etc. :mmph: Not my fav job for sure! I need to get an order in today for some Norwex products that I need. My trip to Walmart only gave me one item that I was looking for, the rest I will either get at the dollar store or at Micheals. This morning we are bottling a red wine for DH. We bottled white yesterday morning. Finally catching up with our wine making after taking the summer off. It will be good to have our wine again and not the store bought!! :partywine I did not get too accomplished yesterday, some :washing: and I spent the afternoon painting and completed one of two things I have been working on. I hope to get the second one done today. One is for me the second is for SIL Linda a Christmas gift to her son. That one needs to get done soon, it is a scene of the Lake at MIL & FIL's that I am putting on an old Saw that belonged to SIL's late husband, so it is special to her son. Hope I do a good job LOL!

Chris - That is too bad that you are having a hard time finishing off your page! I feel your pain! I hope to get back to my scrapping soon! Glad that your Gary was able to re-wire the modem, but too bad that the signal is still not strong! That is frustrating to say the least :frusty: My next project is for DIL Jackie it is her birthday this month and if I don't get a move on, it will not be anywhere near being done in time. I am hoping to put together a daily journal for her, products from Manu Designs and the cover will be a mixed media creation by me :becky: Wish me luck!! Guess I better get that finished before finishing off the Christmas gift for Linda :gaah: not enough hours in the day!! I hope you are able to get out in the sunshine today, I sure won't be it is pouring!! :rain:

Jean - Glad to hear that you are having some sunshine today! I know what you mean about not getting all the things done that you had planned for the weekend! Now with DH home for today because of Thanksgiving, he is keeping me occupied with other things that I would much rather not be doing LOL. Enjoy your Monday!

Ok I need to help with the bottling of the red wine, so I hope you all have a great day!

Good morning, ladies. The wkend flew by. I did some baking, spent time with B at the hospital, went on the worldwide scott kelby photo walk (Vancouver group). It'll be fun to see what 10 submissions are accepted (around 1000 will be culled from the entries, 1 from each team leader and then scott kelby will pick the top 10 and then the winner. I can only imagine how hard it must be to choose. I know he said he picks ones that stand out, that draw him in, want him to know more about the scene. So I think my entry is interesting but whether it is interesting enough, who knows. Want to see mine?

Had a great thanksgiving dinner with B (not D tho b/c he was on call and out working all day), we chatted, she played online puzzles on my phone and Jen and I brought up all the food for an early turkey dinner with her. She was tired and fading so we left by 5:30 and I bet she slept for the night. It was a good day together. Tomorrow morning she gets transferred to UBC.

Chris - glad your modem is working, although not very well. Paying bills, me too....ugh. I procrastinate and am always getting late fees and reminders.

Trudy - that painting sounds great. Can't wait to see the finished project. Be sure to show us. BTW, B is at UBC campus on the far side of Vancouver so it'll be about 1.5-2 hrs depending on traffic as we'll have to go at rush hour during the week. The wkend might be a bit better maybe. I know going downtown takes me about 45-1 hr depending on traffic so UBC is a lot further than that. I can't wait to get out there Wed or Thurs to see the facility and how she's settling in.

Nancy, Felis, Jean....everyone else....hope all is well. I've got an extra day of typing to do so no day off for me today. I also need to buckle down and get the wedding editing done so its going to be a very busy wk for me.
