Happy, happy Monday! I am just going to open this for now. I am going with Caitlyn to a Dr appt at 8 am so I need to get ready now. Hopefully, since it has to be one of the first appts, we won't have to wait too long. *fingers crossed*
I will try to check back in when I get home. This afternoon, the "kids" haha! and I are off to get our pumpkins. A fun day for sure!

Hugs!!!

Morning everyone! It was a very busy weekend, well except for yesterday. DH and I were very tired from all of the fun of Octobeerfest. We stayed up until almost 2am on Saturday night and we sure were feeling it the next day LOL. We had a wonderful time and spent the night with my brother and his wife. We got back to their place around midnight, but stayed up and chatted and laughed and sipped on some baileys before heading to bed. Up at 8am and had a quick coffee then off we went to find some bullrushes and home. We unpacked, made a brunch and then both crashed on the couch for a few hours. Early to bed at around 9pm and slept right through the night. We can not party like we used too that's for sure LOL. Today is election day for us here in :canada: and I will be happy when it is all over and done with and we don't have to watch and listen to it all on the radio and tv anymore. I personally don't care who gets elected, none of them keep their promises anyway :mmph: But I will go out and vote and hopefully we will have a new government by tomorrow! So today I will get my laundry done and change the sheets on the bed, clean bathrooms and do all the other cleaning that never got done yesterday. I will get started on my calendars and I also have to get my latest painting resined and ready for its new owner. I hope to make a shaker card or two today, something I have not tried to do yet. It should be fun and messy LOL.

Chris - Good luck with the vet appt. hopefully you will be in and out of there in record time and then you should have a fun time getting your pumpkins with your not so little kiddos!! Sure hope that the weather is better than it is here right now for your pumpkin gathering! It is raining cats and dogs out there, but looks like we are in for nicer weather in the next day or so. Glad to hear that your chairs are turning out so well! It will be like having a whole new dinning room set!

Nancy - I saw that your Devils won against the Canucks, I bet that made you happy! Nice that they are finally playing better hockey for you! Hopefully you will be able to get to the home games soon! Sounds like you knee is healing nicely and you will be back to 100% soon! You sure have been keeping yourself busy while you are recouping and how sweet that your soon sent over pulled pork for you to have! DH and I had a lot of fun at the Dance and one of the band members was an old high school friend that I graduated with. It was nice to have a chat with him and catch up on things. However DH and I are getting to old to stay out so late and it sure caught up with us yesterday LOL. I will have to see what your latest layouts are like, I need to get to the gallery and browse through and catch up on my commenting, I have been a bad CheeryO as of late and hope to get back to being here more! Have a wonderful Monday and take care of you!

Felis - Oh my your poor Mother, it is sad that she is having trouble with her job and not liking it so much! I totally agree with Nancy and know that her feelings are real, but it is also true that when we are adults we and only we are responsible for the things that happen to us. I have a sister that blamed every bad thing that ever happened to her on our parents, really?? They were very kind and loving to all of us and never treated any of us differently. Not sure why she thought they were so much harder on her?? Sometimes I think it is just an excuse and a way to get others to pay more attention to her. Oh well she is who she is and there is no changing her now LOL. She is 80 years old. Sorry that you have gotten scratched by your kitty, yes they are very sensitive to what mood we are in and I am sure she was frightened. I hope that you are no longer angry with your Mother! I hope that the rest of your weekend was spent doing something that you love to do!

Ok I am off to get the laundry started and then back here to catch up a bit with gallery comments etc. I really need to get a page started for myself and I guess it may as well be one my of calendar pages so I will kill two birds with one stone. (what a silly expression I know lol.) . Have a great day everyone!

good late afternoon - got my PT done and we went outside again. We both agree that in case of emergency I can make it outside LOL. It is a gorgeous day outside. Blue skies and temps in the 60s. Beautiful fall as the leaves are really starting to turn. Yesterday got block 4 of my afghan done and started number 5. This is so fun. Today is more hockey and knitting.

Chris sure hope all went well at the vet!

Trudy your Octoberfest dance sounds so fun! And I totally agree staying up late really takes it out of you. And sometimes worse the second day! So so glad you had such a good time. I am sure you will vote. Hope the final tally turns out as you hope!

Felis so sorry the cat got out and then scratched you to get back in. Cats really can pick up your feelings. I am glad that you can talk to your mom.

Have a great day all!

Hello ladies!
I really tried my best and today can come back in excellent mood!
Nope, nothing wasn't resolved, unfortunately! But I at least I'm trying to throw away all these worries (until the right moment for decisions come)! Was tell to my sister that I had a bad day and she send me cute autumn pics of kittens and pumpkins, which made me smiles! Then a long hot shower till singing Gallagher's "Don't Look Back in Anger", can fix everybody's mood! Successfully going from this ::frusty: to that :playball: , yey!!!

I'm with Nancy, here the weather is still lovely too, even a little bit strange. We start with foggy morning, when I was wearing my brit style raincoat, just to go as cabbage/onion through few layers of clothes and get back to t-shirt at afternoon.
I'm afraid nothing interesting happens, just a regular day. But hope tomorrow to be finally able to get back to scraping!

Chris, I hope that the vet is went well and with light hearts you are been able to enjoy your Halloween stuffs!

Trudy, It doesn't matter how long you stay on the party but how intensive got fun! If just stay to see the end tired on some chair it's a waste of time and ruined the pleasure. I'm so happy to hear for your funny night out! Thank you for your words about my mom and our drama  ! I guess some people just don't want to change.

Nancy, It's great to be so constant in your projects! I think I have to knit too, as this calms the mind so well, and also holidays comes  !
