Anyone there who can throw me a rope? Mine is almost to the very end and it is getting kind of frayed :D

Nah, its all good. I am not quite at the end of my rope (yet!!!) I am just so darn sick and tired of being sick and tired. (Have you ever heard me say that before?, hmmmm). Friday was pretty bad, Saturday I crashed and burned and yesterday I could not even get out of my pj's. Then last night, I woke up at 1 am and was up for 3 hours. I could not get my mind to stop. I am expecting today to be a rough day too. Maybe I can get through it ok...... I think I can, I think I can.... :tea:

I am sorry if I a bit quiet but I want you all to know that I am thinking of you!

hugs!!!!

Hugs and a large knot at the end of that rope! I had a funky weekend as well. I did enjoy my son being home from Friday evening until late Sat evening. Sunday- couch slug- not even a potato. Today, back to routine- I need that. Have marvelous monday's all!

Good morning - I had a marvelous Sunday. I think Chris I was up in your neck of the woods. I went up to my son's and DIL and we went to a crafts fair in Wayne at their high school. It was really nice. I did not buy any thing but my DiL got lots of ideas. Then from there we drove to Fair Lawn to a Pizza restaurant for lunch and two of my New Jersey Devils were there to sign autographs. They were very nice. It was funny they did not think they would have practice (since they won the night before) and then a team meeting so they were late. I am thinking one win out of 8 games does not mean you should not have to practice LOL. It was fun day with the kids. I drove to my son's and then he did all the driving as he knew where he was going. Came home and went out to dinner with two of my girlfriends. That was such a fun and relaxing dinner. We walked to and from the restaurant so perhaps the dessert they gave us for free we walked off all those calories. Came home and I was so tired I was in bed before 10pm and did not get up until 6:30. Looking forward to a lovely fall day.

Chris so sorry that you are feeling so at the end of your rope! Please tie that knot and hang on.

Laurie being a slug every once in a while is not a bad.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... I'm baaaccckkk!! It was a frustrating travel day yesterday as our plane was delayed 3 times, something wrong with the actual plane in Winnipeg, so they had to switch planes and it put them behind to pick us up in Edmonton by a couple of hours. Oh well we made it home in one piece and so did our luggage :becky: Sad to say goodbye to our son and his wife and especially to the grandkids!! We had the whole day with them at the West Edmonton Mall and they had a blast on all the rides in Galaxy Land!! We were beat by the end of the day! They stayed in our hotel room with us in bunk beds and just had so much fun with us, not a great nights sleep, but who cares, it was worth every minute!! Sadly my DIL's grandmother passed last night so they will be making a trip to Saskatchewan in the near future, sure hope the weather is good for them!!

Chris - Sorry you have having such a hard few days!! Sending you a good strong rope with a big knot at the end of it for you to hang onto!!

Laurie - I was a total slug last night too!! Got into my pj's as soon as I got home and went to bed at 9pm, I did manage to get my suitcase unpacked, but that was it. It's ok we are allowed to do that once in awhile!!

Nancy - Sounds like a great weekend for you! How nice that you had a great dinner with your girlfriends and when you are having fun with friends then there are no calories in dessert!!! :becky: Hope your weather is beautiful today!!

Well I of course caught a cold while we were with the kids this week and my poor sinus are so plugged I can hardly breathe!! I am off to the grocery store today and plan on picking up some breathe right strips and some other kind of cold meds. Hopefully this only lasts a couple of days!! Missed everyone and now a lot to catch up on here at the "O"!! Enjoy your Monday all

Chris, feeling any better? there's NO nastier word in the English language than "chronic." be good to yourself, sweetie. let everyone else just do their own thing until you feel like jumping back in.

Hi, Dumpty!

Laurie, glad to know i have some company in Slug Land. yesterday was a total wash for me, except for a SKYPE session with 1/2 of the Grandmen.

Nancy, what a lovely bunch of women you must know. i'd love to be able to hang out with some girls i really like. (IRL!! i get to do that digitally all the time in HERE!)

Trudy, your plane experience sounds EXACTLY like my daughter's last plane fiasco. to go from Westchester county, NY to western PA--9 hours. it was a circus of broken planes, missed connections, full flights. honestly. air travel just sounds like a nightmare to me. but i guess there are times when you just HAVE to. i'm trying my best to avoid those sorts of situations. sorry about your cold, but the rest of the visit sounds GREAT! leaving is always the hardest part, isn't it?

went to the chiropractor this morning, but it didn't help. i am getting bored with waking up with a shishkebab skewer stuck in my lower back. i'm trying to follow the advice of the Stoic, Seneca: "Scorn pain: either it will go away or YOU will."

right.
