Hi Ozies,

lets start in the new week.
My week starts with the dentiste. Think she will become my best friend as I was there a lot of times. But thanks God today was just pull the strings and a little dental clearance. I hope that´s it for this year.

I see the sun comes out a little. Good in this dark time of the year.

What are your plans this week ?
for me hopefully it is an easy week. Only my husband starts his history with the dentiste. He gets dental bridges and has appointments till December

Good morning and happy Monday. Astrid, I like the way you think- are you going to be the new "Sally" for Mondays?
For those who don't know her, Sally/cellomom was a Cheery O here for long time and she LOVED Mondays. Always said that it was a fresh start. So whenever we got the Monday blues, someone would joke about needing to "channel Sally."

We need that today in NJ b/c the weather is making me cold and cranky. It was snowing here yesterday! There were some flurries when we got to my brother's house, and the few little spots of them during the afternoon. On the way home, they were coming down like mad! Nothing stuck, melted as soon as they hit the road, but dang, it was depressing to see that. NOT ready! :smow:

Party was nice, very small which makes it easier to me to handle. Christopher gets cuter and funnier every time I see him. We had just gotten out of the car when he ran down to meet us. (I say "us" but he really only wanted Caitlyn) and then they were off and running together. My SIL made a fire engine bed for him and it was allput together and he couldn't wait to show it off. It was from a kit,, but she added lots of little details to it and to his room that just made it perfect. My dad got him window stickers from his fire Dept and she had them on the side window, on the wall she had hooks for his turnout gear. one each fore his pants with suspenders, his hat and his coat that has a District Two (my dad's company) patch on it. I took a bunch of pictures of him and my dad but he is making silly faces in all of them. Christopher, not my dad. LOL

Today I am meeting BFFATS for coffee, Cait has her appt with the dietitian and then we are going to the pumpkin patch across the street from it.

TRUDY!!! I adore that Zen smilie!! love it!! I wish I knew how to add smilies to our collection, that is one I would use over and over. i would also use the yelling one a lot too. ha!!
Congrats to SIL on her move, is the new place comfortably far enough for you? Hope so! Hope that you and DH had a nice time bottling and sampling?? your wine.

jean- DNA research is just so fascination, I bet those talks were really good!

good am - OMgosh we have frost on the lawn. Luckily it should be sunny and warm up. Well as I can say that for a person who is not what one would call an pet lover I have become a pet baby sitter. Of course I would not do this if we did not like our kids and the pets of course! So my son and his girlfriend are going to Texas to meet her mother and since that requires flying and so we are going to be taking care of Rex. Poor guy really misses her a lot. And since I am home all day he is my responsibility. But he is used to being home alone all day so not even worried. Just feel bad that he does not understand that while she is gone she is coming back. Last night I cooked and made chicken and dumplings but the dumplings left a lot to be desired Not sure what I did wrong but they never rose. But the chicken stew part was really good. And my DH made coconut pound cake for dessert and that was awesome! And I had an afternoon game the Devils vs our cross river rival the NY Rangers. It was in NYC so I just watched it on tv and wow my team has their first win, 2-1 in OT. Got in a good walk.

Astrid so glad that your dentist trips are done. Good luck with you husband and his visits. Enjoy your "easy" week.

Chris so glad you had a good time at the party! That bedroom sounds perfect for the grandson of a fireman and a little boy!

Trudy what a pain it is to try to sell something like a gym to someone. He would totally have ripped you off!

Jean your DNA studies sound very interesting.

Good morning ladies... I was up super duper early this morning, but having trouble with my computer. Installed the new operating system for my Mac and now my Photoshop is not liking the upgrade!! Why can't things ever go smoothly?? Now when I open Photoshop when I would look at my scrapbooking supplies it always showed them in a nice large icon that I could see the pics really good with but oh no not now. It doesn't give me that option at all??? WTH?? So now I guess I will have to spend hours looking for a solution to solve that problem. Photoshop will blame Apple and Apple will blame Photoshop and around and around we will go.:rant: If they want us to use these upgrades, can't they make them comparable with everything???

Astrid - How nice to see you open the thread this morning and with such a great attitude for a Monday!! Happy to hear that you are done with the Dentist now too!!

Chris - You have not offended anyone, I think that everyone is very busy on the weekends and like me can't always get to the computer for those couple of days. I wish I knew how to add smileys to our collection also. Guess that's another thing I could try to look up. Glad you had a great time at the party! I can't believe you guys have had snow already!! DD was saying it has been cold and a bit snowy for them also.

Nancy - Hooray for the Devils having a win, DH was happy that the Bruins also had a win Saturday night ! Hope that you have a great time puppy sitting and that Rex doesn't miss his mommy too much!! Hope that your son and girlfriend have a lovely time! Sure hope your temps improve it is way too early for Winter to show up!!

Ok I am going to have a day filled with trying to figure out how to fix my Photoshop so I better get on with it! Have a wonderful day everyone! :wave:
