Daily Ooo's: Monday, October 14

I am going to make this quick. I have to get in the shower, finish packing and head down to my mom's. Then we are off for the shore! The weather is going to be sunny and warm-ish for Oct. I packed so many different outfits just for one night. Yesterday morning, I thought maybe we should stay at the place that we had planned to stay at last month. It is located across the street from the ocean and has a restaurant. This way we can park and not have to drive around to get to the beach or find food. My mom agreed so that is where we will be.

Yesterday was me doing online food shopping and then packing. Nothing much of anything else.

Nancy- nice to see that you are doing well!! You are a pro at this!! Ugh about the Devils- I hope that they can get their act together soon.

Felis- it feels great when you finish a page and love it. Good for you!! Thank you for the book rec and for Trudy too. I will add them to my to-read list.

good morning - it should be in the low 70s today. Yea! Luther is off to doggie day care and I will have first rehab session but I have been doing my exercises so that is good. Was able to sleep much better last night so hoping that continues. My Devils play an afternoon game as it is Columbus day and a lot of kids have the day off from school. One can only hope that they can get a win. There is a lot of pundits saying that if they don't win the coach will be fired. I understand that but the caveat is always who then will be the coach. Oh well we will see what happens. Happy Thanksgiving to those in Canada!

Chris have a great time at the shore! Good idea to stay at a place with its own restaurant and the beach across the street.

Afternoon O-fam. Nothing special today but usual Monday stuff.

Chris, I'm so glad you and mom are off to the shore and staying at what sounds like the perfect spot with beach and restaurant. Still keeping everything crossed that the weather stays nice and you both really enjoy it.

Nancy, congrats on the another successful recovery getting underway and having the guys be good to you. This time they know what to expect. And Luther off to doggie day care will be happy too. Wishing you better play from the Devils! The Yankees have been doing their thing until losing in 11 last night, but may still prevail. At least something else for you to watch.

Felis, the rose hip walk must have been fun if a little thorny. I've never done that or had anything made from them that I know of. Enjoy doing things with your mother while she had free time. As you say, there's still time for scrapping this month.
