Daily Ooos: Monday, October 13

The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
How in the world is it Monday again?? I swear I just typed Monday here a day ago.

(Oh.
It's quite possible that I actually typed "Monday" in one of my day-date mind messes.)
But it really feels like last week flew past in a blink. Did your week zip by you, too?

The weekend went crazy fast as well. I was busy all day yesterday and felt like I got absolutely nothing accomplished. I did two loads of laundry and cooked dinner. I know I did more than that, just nothing specific to show for.
I am home again today, so maybe I can get a few more things off my To-Do list. I think it is time to pack away my summer clothes and bring down the box of winter ones.

The storm is just heavy rain and some wind gusts here, but the scenes from the shore are really awful. My scrap page of the "big waves" from 2 weeks ago looks like teeny tiny waves compared to now.

My brain is mush and i am typing unconnected and random sentences. Let me post things and do personals before I :flyswatter:

No breaks for you @faerywings. The mojo will come back! You are the O!! I'm sure that everyone else is more than willing to pick up a little slack! And who would start the Daily-O's.
It's not so much who would start the Ooos, it is "Who would clean up the ketheup if I were gone?" Every time I leave for a day or so, everywhere!
Then I come back to a mess. :housekeeping::mopping:

:p

I would miss all of you too much, so yeah, I can't leave for very long. :hug4:
I know that it isn't really new for you but I think of it as new.
Someone asked me how long I have been there and it is going to be 2 years in December! Meanwhile, I still feel very much the newbie!
I am sitting at my desk, and in front of me, is a little note holder that says "In all things Give thanks". My sister-in-law gave it to me for my birthday last year. And so, that's what I'm going to do today. Give thanks for ALL the things. Especially for all of you!
I think SIL would be so happy that you are looking at that note holder with love and gratitude and thinking of her ♥

It is going to be raining off and on this week so I plan on staying home. Just remembered that I need to reset the sprinkler/drip system back to fall - twice a week setting. Will be glad when the furnace tune-up guys get here on Tuesday. Temps are getting colder at night already.
Smart idea to stay warm and dry and scrappy!

HA! The cabin being Mark's "doghouse" would not be a punishment! ;)
Yes, this afternoon is going to be dedicated to scrapping! We had a great meeting yesterday! So spiritually uplifting! I love the Psalms! :heartpumplove: That's one of the reasons I chose the study for my widows, too!
Yup, if Gary had a place like that, he wouldn't mind either. :D
How was the scrapping afternoon, did your mojo come back? :praying2:
I took some of the chili to the lady we pick up on Sunday and Wednesday and took some to a man at the church who is a divorcee.
That is the sweetest thing!
What amazing photos of you and Mark- and the cabin is pretty dang cool too!
One of those weekends I look around and say what did I do? But I know I was busy cause I didn't really sit
SAME!!! Maybe today will be a scrap day for each of us. *fingers crossed*

Good morning ladies. Can I just tell you that Microsoft and OneDrive will make me crazy? Everything has auto defaulted to OneDrive? My PSE is now in the Cloud...and boy is that slowing down my machine. I seriously want to scream. I am giving myself this week to figure out how to get some things back to my desktop. If I can't, I'll go get some professional help. It irritates me that I have to do this. Microsoft irritates me! Maybe I can use AI to help me straighten it out but I doubt it. :rolleyes1: Good to get my mind working however. The good news is that I can use the internet...so Daily O's and commenting on layouts are still possible.

Two years...I really don't have a very good handle on time. We were in Florida just shy of 6 years. No idea how it was that long.

@vickyday I really love that cabin! How it has changed while I've been gone. Such a relaxing spot. Love your layout for the big photo challenge. Now you need to do one more layout with that photo of you and Mark. I love it!

@AK_Tracy I hate the feeling of having finished my weekend and don't know what to show for it.

@BrightEyes one more day until the furnace guy comes and you can turn it on! Hope it is totally routine.

.....before I.....? Do you want us to fill in the blank? ;)

I agree! But, then again, all of my days, weeks, months, years are passing quickly any more! Yes, the old adage, "The older I get, the faster time passes" is more than true!

And now you "see" why sending him to the dog house would not be refused! ;)
Scrapping.......well, I did get 2 challenges done before the mojo left! It's a start!
I would scrap some more today except I still need to put the finishing touches to my devotion for tomorrow before I do anything else!.....except make the bank deposit and go to lunch with Mark! ;)

I'm definitely there with you! Keep your cloud to yourself!!!!!

Good Morning,
Not much going on today except putting the finishing touches on my devotion for tomorrow.
Going to lunch with Mark (and co-worker) and making the bank deposit is the only thing I will leave the house for.....hopefully!
Did get a couple of challenges done yesterday, so that is a start!
HAG Monday!

Good Morning.
:sleeping1:
Oh what? I need to be awake? Why?? Oh dogs and kids and life. If you insist.
:coffee1::coffeedrinker:

Did your week zip by you, too?
Like lightening!!! I think I blinked and it was gone.
I know I did more than that, just nothing specific to show for.
10000% I know I did something. I know I sorted some computer issues and adult-ed as I paid a couple bills. But what else?
Can I just tell you that Microsoft and OneDrive will make me crazy?
What a horrible way to kick off your first retired Monday. Microsoft does indeed drive one crazy. I loath the cloud and wish it wasn't default. I dont trust the cloud. I want it all on my machine for me only. yep control freak here :giggle4: (who knew) :giggle4:

Vicky I like the sound of your day, slow and easy @vickyday

Not much happening here. I think have to run errands but darn it, Mondays are meant to stay home and clean. Laundry?? Maybe. Depends on how much I have to get done out of the house. Hopefully I can put it off and stay home. Maybe I can scrap a bit today. Not holding my breath. As much as I love the color blue I dont want to be blue :floorlaugh: It frosted hard again too! Woo hoo Sweater weather!!!!! I think my coffee may have been a bit extra today. Feeling my sass rising :floorlaugh::brrr::floorlaugh: Maybe its the frosty weather bringing out the sass. Or maybe I'm just in denial its always there. Well, time to start the day rolling. Have a wonderful day!

Morning, all. Been busy scrapping since I woke up so early (5 AM). Finally figured out what to do with AWA's challenge this morning. Got it done and uploaded around digi-land. Have a load of towels in washing but still have to sort the dirty clothes and see if I can get them done today. It is cold (58*F) and trying to rain. Perfect day to stay in and get a few things around the house.

I spent over 2 hours yesterday afternoon copying Kits/LOs from my "Working" folder onto the ExHD and then moving them into the "Scrapping" folder on my computer. Didn't get any of them moved for the last 2 months due to having Covid. I don't use the Cloud at all ... not sure I trust it. I have the Cloud blocked on my computer so no worries about things getting moved there. @LSlycord I feel your frustration over things moved when you didn't want that to happen. Good luck on getting them back down onto your computer.

AMEN and AMEN! Not sure I trust the "cloud" either!
