Question of the Day, do I say how I am really feeling or do I just blow it all off and forget about it all?

Personal stuff is all same old, same old. The weather changes do a number on my body and I am hurting all over. I have to get out quickly today. Since Cait's car is in the shop, I have to bring her to school. Get this crazy bit-- she goes to a community college so it is all commuters. This year, they need to have a parking permit but it is only good for one car. So while her car is in the shop, she can't park my car in the lot. How stupid is that? Very stupid. It is a small campus-- 3000 students, if that. I don't understand why they don't have a sign in sheet at the main office that if are driving a car that doesn't have a sticker, put it on a list with its license plate and the permit number of the student's main car so it doesn't get ticketed.
So at any rate, I am driving her to school, then will be off food shopping. She was able to get a ride home from a friend and maybe her car will be ready today but I don't think it will be.

My heart is breaking for the people of the town where the *latest* mass shooting was in. But more so, I am angry. Damn angry at the ineffectualness of the Legislators who sit there and offer thoughts and prayers but do nothing to curb gun violence. Not a damn thing so they don' t "offend" the NRA and gun lobbyists.
I should shut up now so I don't go on and on and on. :tape:

Today I am going to be all over the place, literally and mentally! I was able to get a bunch of things organized for F-W's so ingredients and packaging are grouped together. I might try to get something easy done today, like make up the bath salt mixture so the EO's have time to "steep".
And pay bills, I have to start paying some bills. :(

So that is about it from me. I hope that all of you have a wonderful and joy-filled day.

Rae- oh no, I am so sorry to hear about Beckham. I didn't realize her cancer had returned. I guess that he is so weak from the surgery and past chemo that he has no reserves left. Poor baby. :(
Was Jen able to find some nice bedding?
Give belly rubs to Taz for me. I am feeling down and dogs make me happy. Virtual belly rubs will work. Thank you!

Nancy- Bet you are looking forward to getting to the arena for hockey this week. Hope that they won last night. Belly rubs and ear scratches to Luther from me too.

Trudy- those fireplace TV stands are so nice! I hope that your Gary decides to go for it.
I wasn't thrilled with any of the woodworking saws when I took Wood Shop in HS (although I loved welding in metal shop :D ) and after Gary cut the tip of his thumb off on his table saw a while back- I am even less inclined to use them. Glad that your Gray does the cutting for you.

Felis- I am so sorry for your loss and am sending good thoughts of peace and healing to you and your family. Times heals, but the pain is never erased completely.
I was given that book as a gift and I will *not* read it. Can't/won't. nope. And a Dog's Purpose. Another one that was given as a gift that I won't read. I don't understand why people want to make me cry.

Jean- I hate how dark is at dinner time now too. :( At least we don't have snow!

I have to go throw some makeup on so I don't scare the people at Shop Rite. hugs to all of you!

Morning O-zies! It is very crisp and cold, but sunny here this morning. I had to thaw out the hummingbird feeder this morning. Poor little things were buzzing me when I was outside putting it back on the hanger. We moved the feeder to the downstairs front porch, it is a bit more protected there, but not a convenient for me to fill it up etc. I have to remember to bring it in at night so that DH can put it back out in the morning before he heads to work. The temp this morning is minus 3 degrees Celsius so that is 26.6 Fahrenheit for you in the States Brrrr!! Its funny but that used to be a mild day for us in the winter when we lived in Saskatchewan :becky: I have turned into a West Coast Whimp! LOL.

Chris - Yes most days for me are the same old thing and it sucks that you have to drive Cait to School! Strange that they don't have a system where they can allow a second vehicle to park in the parking lot at her College :noidea: I hope that you are feeling less discombobulated as the day progresses! Good luck with your shopping at Shop Rite and with making a few faerywings things! Your house will be heavenly smelling at least! I will keep my fingers crossed for you that Caits car will be fixed and home at the end of the day!

Ok I am off to the gallery to leave some love and then another cup of coffee and a FaceTime with Heather soon. Have a great morning everyone! I will pop in later to catch up with the rest of you.

good late morning - I had to get Luther out early before rains come and then had errands I had to do again before the rain comes. My Devils last in a SO and they were fortunate to get it to a shoot out as Andy Greene our captain scored his first goal of the season and had not scored a goal since last Feb. Another of our stay at home defensemen also scored his first goal of the season so that was good. Even though both teams scored 4 goals both goalies made awesome saves.

Chris I am like you and am very angry at there have been no changes in gun control laws in our country. To hear those law makers who allow this continue to offer only prayers are hypocrites.

Chris sounds like you are going to be busy. Hope the car is fixed to make your life easier and hers too!

Trudy the name of the font I use in my titles is An Unfortunate Event. I love the font. Adryane was the first one I saw use the font here at the O. Wow I did not realize it had gotten so cold on the West Coast. Those poor hummingbirds glad that you are there to feed them.

Rae that is so sad about Beckham. I am sure you gave him plenty of love. His owners must be so glad they found you when they were looking for some one to take him. Cant wait to hear how well you did shopping you always do.

Jean I could not believe how dark it was so so early. I hate this part of the year.

Felis hoping you had a healing weekend.

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. Busy day and for awhile it looks like Monday is always going to be a very busy day for me so not a lot of computer time on Mondays for me. My main client seems to be settling into a routine of sending all his backlog throughout the wkend so it is ready for me Monday morning and the other client sends me all her work for Monday. I think Monday will be the busiest day. So I'm not going to be online a lot today, I need to really focus on keeping up with the workload. Tomorrow we go to our acct so will also busy getting stuff ready for him so won't be online much both days. I'm looking forward to Wed when things will slow down a bit :)

Met Jen at the store Sunday after Beckham went home and she was so excited. She bought a duvet, cover, sheet sets, pillowcases, area rug and a few other things. I found a few sheet sets 500 count Egyptian cotton pillowcases really cheap. I also found a foaming soap dispenser pump for the kitchen with no price tag so they gave it to me for $5. I put in my lavender soap and it is heavenly.

Chris - hope Cait's car is ready. That is just stupid about the parking. Why do things need to be so difficult??? Ugh. Hope you get everything done you want to today.

Trudy - I saw on pinterest that someone had put a big red wool sock around the feeder to help keep it warm in the winter. I might try to find some thick red fabric to wrap around the feeder bottle.

I need to get to work. I won't be back until after late tonight. Have a great day, everyone.

Not bad here for a Monday. Rain and storms last night, but we didn't have any damage. Did my Monday bill pay and stuff while DH was at Hum & Strum. They have such a good group these days.

Chris, I can't understand how things became so upside down on guns. Best not to go there or I'll make us both crazy. I can see why the college isn't easier on parking as any opportunity folks will take advantage. Also they are keeping it simple on their side - just stupid on Cait's side. Good luck getting her car back. Having faery-wings smells in the house will be good!

Trudy, sorry it's that cold for the hummers. Will it warm up any? Kind of you to keep the feeder going.

Nancy, too bad about the loss, but you've got games to attend now. Hope the rain isn't too bad there. How's Luther enjoying fall?

Rae, you are the busiest lady around for sure. You are also a marvel at getting shopping deals. Jen got such a lot of nice things. Hope things with work so smoothly and you get to relax in the evenings.

Hello ladies,
I think I wouldn't surprise anyone when I told you that I was on rush today, because of my weak organization. At Photobox have a coupon buy 1 get 1 free, which I wanted to use, but of course I procrastinate it to the last day :crutch:. They even give me additional code, specially for me (at least so they told me) because I was left my order at the basket, to come back and pay it later, but you couldn't use 2 coupons at one order, so it's not actually works, but was nice way to remind you to rush.
I could also to made 2 pages. I was liked so sweet Halloween kit, but till no one of the challenges is on this topic, I don't actually need it, so used what I already have it.
Beside that, everything else is ordinary.
Oh Maroon 5 have new album, which came till I was feeling so bad, and was so nice, like a hug from a friend.

Chris, ouch, I can believe that so soon this tragedy is repeat! I can understand why you are angry. But the fact is that the arms industry always is have strong lobby. Poor people! They told that another man with gun is actually is prevented tragedy to become even bigger. This give the arms industry the strong argument that not weapons kill people do it. Unfortunately we too much believe that we are predators. Praying for the victims!

So uncomfortable for the Cait's car, but is good that you can help her!
Thanks for your kindly words, it was really years ago, I just have some of these depression moments time to time. Oh, I love to read books for people who suffering from their loss beloved, pets, kids, husbands or for war time. Thanks makes me feel like the river of my pain meet the rivers of other pains at one universe ocean of pain and sorrow. Strange but I don't like this when is in the movies.

Trudy, I hope you had good conversation with Heather. Thank you for your comments on my page, and I hope to can translate my text tonight or tomorrow. The Rae ideas for a hummingbird feeders sounds interesting.

Nancy, I hope you have succeeded walk with Luther. It's so difficult with these short days and bad weather. We limited our walks with the tiny dog, because of that, soon will stay only at the yard.

Rae, you are so busy, girl! I hope you take care for yourself too at all these stress!

Jean, so good that you don't have any damage! Hope the weather is not so dangerous and you have fun with your husband and the group!

OK, my dears, I go to get cup of coffee because this day will be long! Strange but the coffee not makes me any trouble sleeping, I could fall asleep immediately after wash my cup. I have many insomnia moments, but they aren't affected from that, for example I can't just drink coffee and stay whole night when I need it, pffu! :ranger::bored::juggle:
