Happy Monday and Guy Fawkes Day! I was going to crack a joke about Congress and decided that it was NOT a good idea to even joke  LOL

My alarm didn't go off again this morning, the second Monday in a row. I don't know why since it is set exactly the same way Monday through Friday. I woke up when the coffee pot beeped. That is a pretty good alarm.
The time change threw us all off yesterday, pets and humans alike. Floyd meowed and meowed when he thought it was time to eat. And Gary started dinner at 4 pm, not realizing that it was 4 pm- not 5.

The weather was decent so I was able to rake a lot of the front lawn. Gary took down the Halloween props and Scott mowed the lawn one last time. That will make it easier for me to rake and find the dog poop. I scrapped a page for the Lyrics challenge and I like how it came out. I have 7 pages done for my ILs album so need to get going more on that.

Today, I am cleaning up a bit here and organizing the F-W's recipes so when the supplies come in, I will be ready to go. I have to figure out what to put on my shopping list for tomorrow too.
And of course, there is the never-ending question of what will happen with the health insurance companies today? :???:

Puppies need to go out, brb!

Jean- did you get any scrapping done yesterday? It is nice to hear that at least you have been busy with genealogy things. I am mad at myself- when I was raking I wanted to go back ina d get my camera, the sky was so blue and the leaves so bright. But I didn't and now I lost my chance since it is going to rain the next 2 days. Oh well!
Thanks for the hugs - very very appreciated!
I am sending your message to Felis- we need to keep hearing stories about the cats and Tiny and Biggie!

Hope that all of you have a very happy day!!!

good morning - yesterday was one busy day. Just as we were heading out to walk Luther our son called saying he needed help taking the air conditioner out of the window. I went along to download their Alaskan photos. Well her windows is so different from my mac so I called my IT son and he said my EDH was formatted for mac so would not work with her computer (really???) so I made a quick trip and bought a flash drive. That worked so then I came home and watched season 3 of Outlander prior to the season premier. My DH gets sucked in while I am watching but then he leaves as he does not want to admit he is sucked in LOL. My son watched the new premier with me. It was awesome! I actually watched it at midnight on the Stars app but on the big tv was so much better. I hate that it is getting dark so early. And now with rain. Yuck. My team keeps losing so that is not good. But I am getting my albums worked on so that is good. My team plays the Penguins tonight.

Chris yesterday was gorgeous and on our walk with Luther we got some beautiful fall colors and reflection in a local lake. Lots of mallards in the lake and geese on the field. We will be voting tomorrow. My girlfriend from S. Carolina sent me an email to remind me to vote. She says she is jealous that our votes actually mean something. I hate that it is so dark so soon too! Hope you can get some clarification on your insurance status.

Jean I am not surprised you are so busy with genealogy. Hope you find some time to scrap. Sorry the Browns are not doing so well. But how neat to have players from your town make it to the NFL. That is pretty cool!

Trudy I wish your DH could pound some sense into Brad Marchand's head. Yes he was called for a high sticking penalty that he did not do but then to do what he did was pretty sad. Does not make the refs very happy! And I cannot believe it makes his coach or teammates very happy either. Hope your weather is not too bad.

Felis is was so good to see your post! Keep us up to date!

Rae hope you had a good visit with B.

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. Am getting to work right away this morning. With the time change, it takes me a few days to settle into it. Last night D and I were yawning and ready for bed early and then we realized it was b/c our bodies thought it was an hr later. Monday is always a crazy work day for me, I usually work late into the night, so if I start right now, maybe I can stop just a bit earlier tonight so I don't completely burn out later.

B and I made a few Xmas cards this wkend and she loved doing it! So I'll be bring supplies again in a few wks to make some more. I watched the last episode of Colony last night and am sorry the show is cancelled. I wish they had been able to finish the storyline. Also watched The Walking Dead (Rick's last episode). D and I both agreed that it was a great episode. Then we watched the Talking Dead (after show) which was also great. We love that show and are excited to see where the storyline is headed now.

I finished "When We Found Home" which was a feel-good kind of story which I really liked. Have to figure out which one to start next. I've been reading more and scrapping less, my brain just gets too tired most days to want to scrap so reading is more relaxing right now.

I'll try to come back later and read personals. Hope you all have a great day.

DH had a big group at H&S this morning and they are brushing up on their holiday music to play at the senior center in early Dec. I did the bills and some genealogy stuff that evolved from an email from FamilySearch. Gray outside but the fall colors are very much there.

Chris, good luck with the ins. stuff today! I'm sure it will involve stress no matter what. I know what you mean about missing photos. On my way home Sat. afternoon I could have gotten good ones if my camera battery hadn't conked out (I'd ignored the warnings of course). I'm impressed with your button page even though I'm sure it doesn't meet the criteria. Wondered what reaction you had to that, so nice to see you answer with humor (and a heavy dose of reality!)

Nancy, hope you have nice weather for voting tomorrow (especially as that usually promotes turnout.) The Devils really need to get it together to play the Pens. Hope they do.

Trudy, what a pain to have the post disappear! Hope you have a good day.

Rae, things with B sound so much nicer where she is now. You do so well engaging her too. Since it's Monday, know you are super busy.

Well so much for getting my long post done again. I will just go to personals LOL

Chris - I hope that today is not too stressful and that there is not a lot of yelling and screaming going on in the telephone! It will be nice to be ready and organized with your faerywings products so that you will have the nicest smelling house on the block again soon!

Nancy - Yes that darn Brad Marchand is an embarrassment to the Bruins and to the NHL! Believe me my Gary and I are not at all happy with him! The refs will be watching every single move he makes now and giving him lots of penalties for sure, so that will be very frustrating for the entire team! Outlander was great last night wasn't it! I watched it on Kodi so got to see it before it even aired here out west.

Rae - Oh it sounds like you had such a lovely time with B!! How great that she enjoyed doing the cards with you! She will be anxiously awaiting your next visit I bet! You bring out the best in her I think! She is lucky to have such a great Grandma!

Jean - How fun to hear the Christmas music at H & S with your hubby! Enjoy the fall colours while they last, it seems one day you look outside and they are done and all the leaves have fallen from the trees!

Ok I am off to finally open up my photoshop program and get some scrapping done. It will soon be time to think about making supper, the darn days go by so fast LOL. Have a great Monday everyone!!

Hello girls,
you are so kind and your messages all are so sweet.
Jean , I'm left with impression that my life is pretty boring, because I'm girl of the habits, which make it pretty for me, but totally boring for sharing. Actually at your Sunday post you are described most of what happens around. Something more that came in my mind is that we change the time before week and immediately felt the bad consequences of that. It's dark so early, and I hate to be out at dark, so now we have to go on dog walk at afternoon instead of evening. This year autumn here is unusual warm and sunny, which my pets just adore , as our homeless friends too. Often at afternoon cats play with some colored fallen leaf and it's such a cute. In these moments I think with big smile on my face for Trudy, and her yard without tree but with leafs which to clean up.
I feels pretty much like Rae is written above: " reading is more relaxing right now". I realized that I'm not only stop to scrap but skip to take the photos too.

Chris, I'm not surprised that Cait is refuse from the idea for bat as pet. They are wild and don't react good in captivity. You wouldn't be surprised that I like them too! Here have organised day when the wild life foundation talk about the benefits of them and the dangers who are threatening them. Some lucky people have them on old attics. As much as I know soon is not had bat group infected with rabies, so probably is very cool to have attic with wild bats.

Jean, did H&S group have Christmas playlist or some special Holiday program?! I'm happy to hear that you're busy with genealogy stuff! Have a fun!

Trudy, aww, so annoying to lose long post! Can give you only
cat-hug-smiley.gif
I just love these special smileys that you know for every case!

Rae, right now I watch "the Farm" which is local alternative of Big Brother, and this reminds me for your TV preferences too :) . After Xmas cards are having such a success in making B smile, can I offer the idea for 3D puzzles! I'm like one Christmas house 3D puzzle for myself it's small, easy and not much expensive.

Nancy, These flash drive and photo moving things are always so annoying. I also have to start work on a album for Christmas gift. But still can find enough desire to combine all photos shared by WhatsUp, still on cell phones and few already into the PC. Such a mess!

OK, hugs and kisses my dears, I'll come to visit you again for the holidays!
You know how to find me if needs something!
