Where in the world is this month going? I am seriously wondering how it will be December in a few days. It is bonkers!!
heck, I don't even know where the long weekend went. My kids said the same thing. They went into this weekend thinking that they had all the time int he world and now bam- Monday and back to the grind.

Yesterday was a really busy day in the Faery and Elf Workshop. But I am getting close to being done. All of the difficult things are done, although keep your fingers crossed that my bath bombs unmold today without crumbling. I made big Lush style bombs- about 2.5 inches in diameter and if they crack I will cry. There was some cursing going on as I mixed them. The first big one was when I went to smell the fragrance oil but instead of that, I grabbed the bottle of Vanilla Fragrance Stabilizer. It is what keeps products from browning from the vanilla content. It had the label on it to use only in well-ventilated area and I took a huge whiff of it. I couldn't breathe and was coughing almost an hour later. The scent I used was a Pink Sugar Dupe and I had pink Himalayan Sea salt and some pink glitter mixed into it. That smelled great as I molded them. I also started sealing the other wine bottle holders, I only need to do the back today. I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
*pats self on the back*

Now all I need to do is clean my house, steam clean the carpets and decorate. That's is all.

My mom is coming up in a couple of hours to do Cyber Monday shopping. My SIL texted me last night that my brother is in the hospital with pneumonia. I try hard not to get angry with him but is b/c I worry. He has had diminished lung capacity for decades. He is also very overweight. Add in a history of bronchitis and pneumonia already and it is just a tempest for him. :(
She said that my mom still wanted to come up and I hope that I am not taking her away from them if they need her instead.
I told them he was the priority. But my family is stubborn when they get something in their heads. Good thing I am an anomaly hahaha!!!!!

So that is my day-- I am going to need a strong cocktail of coffee and Xanax. Just kidding. (no, I am not) No, really I am!! (No-- really I am not).

Hope that all of you have a calm day and can send me some of those calm vibes.

Rae- more good shopping mojo from you- wow! And then you did CT and desk work done? You amaze me! Was Taz totally excited to see Ava?
OM- how awful that the owl tried to grab the dog. That must have been terrifying. Last night I had nightmares about a black and red snake that was trying to go after Whisky. It was big and venomous. But that was a dream, thank goodness.
I will tell Cait that you liked her cards. :)

Nancy- congrats to your Devils getting another win! May the momentum stay with them!

Trudy- did you and DH listen to the Eagles as you bottled your wine?
The kids will have fun with the Gingerbread house kit-- mine have one waiting for the next time Leah and Brendan are over together.

Jean- laundry-- ugh! I am so far behind on mine too(any surprise? LOL) The library sounds much more fun than laundry.

Felis- and everyone else, have a happy day!

good morning - the sun in shining and the wind is blowing but not too bad and then temp is in the 40s so I can't complain. Just got back from walking Luther. It was a nice walk for a late Nov day! Tonight is a hockey game so that will be fun. Then they go on the road so I will be watching them from the comfort of my house. LOL. I may do some cyber shopping. Need to get some bills paid and cook dinner. Not my favorite things. Yesterday my DH prepared prime rib and it was fantastic. Usually I find it too fatty but this was perfect! So what a nice ending to the long weekend.

Chris wow that it great at how much you have accomplished! Always good to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And it is amazing how fast those 4 days went. That is one strange dream about the snake.

Trudy how fun to make a ginger bread house. Ginger bread just makes the house smell so good. Hope the wine bottling went well.

Rae I probably say this too often but I really need your organizational gene. How do the visit with Ava go? Were both dogs tired at the end of the day?

Jean I did laundry but I too would have put it on the back burner if I could. Hope you found the books you were looking for!

Felis waving hi!

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... yes the weekend really did fly by way to quickly, but I got so much accomplished yesterday! Half way done getting the craft room cleaned up, there is so much stuff in there that needs to be re-organized and lots to be thrown away. Then I have to get to the crawl space and go through the toys and see what will be suitable for the kids to play with and what needs to be brought upstairs and what I need to keep for Hunter for when he is older. It will be a tedious job :mmph: I really need to start to make a plan for a menu while everyone is here too. I have never been very good at that kind of thing, Rae I need you here to help me get organized LOL. Oh well it will get done. So a bit of cyber shopping today and then I will get a calendar sent out for printing for the In-Laws and other than that it will be a quiet day.

Chris - You have been so busy! It is so nice to hear that you are getting everything all done for your sale! You seem to be in much better spirits lately also! I hope that your brother will be recovered and out of the hospital very soon! Such a worry to know that he is not doing all he can to take better care of himself! My youngest SIL is the same, she is in her 50's now and has never been to the eye dr!! She wonders why she can't see very well anymore. Can you believe it?? She smokes like a chimney and has only one kidney and is terribly overweight now and seems to think that nothing will happen to her. :gaah: how do you reason with someone like that? Keeping my fingers crossed that your bath bombs turn out as beautiful as they must smell! Sorry you got such a big whiff of the product up your nose, ugh that must have been hard to get out of your system! Remember that you don't have to get all of the house work done yourself! Have fun cyber shopping with your Mom, I bet she is glad that you are helping her with that!

Nancy - Your walk with Luther sounded just perfect! I love the crisp cooler air of a sunny November day! It really clears your mind of the cobwebs! DH was not too thrilled with his Bruins yesterday losing to the Oilers, oh well they can't win them all. Your dinner last night sounds so yummy! I just love Prime Rib, its our most favourite meal ever! The price of beef here makes it very hard to have though. Sure hope that prices get better soon, we love our beef! :sorry: to those who are vegetarian/vegan, I could never give up my meat! Yes I am hoping that the kids love the gingerbread house, I am not a fan of gingerbread taste, but do like the smell of it cooking in my oven, almost as much as the smell of chocolate brownies or cake.

Ok DD is trying to FaceTime with me, so I will catch up with her and then get back here to catch up with the rest of my O-family!!

Good morning, ladies. Came down to my office early to get started on my crazy work day (with all the backlog from when I was away). First I had to plug in my ereader so I could load up the latest library books (finished House Of Lies which I enjoyed, then found out the book isn't entered into the GoodReads database which is the first time that has happened to me so when I see my 2017 book reading challenge it will be missing one book). So I had unplugged my tablet for a minute to plug in my ereader on the monitor USB slot but have a slot on the underside of the monitor too so plugged the tablet in there so that everything could be plugged in. Big mistake. After loading the books, I went to use the mouse and it wouldn't work. Tried numerous batteries, rebooting computer, checking settings. D came and looked and then he locked the 2nd monitor somehow so it wouldn't work at all. Ugh....what a way to start my busy day. So then had to google on my laptop about it b/c at this point the mouse and the tablet wouldn't work at all. Eventually figured out that it was the switching of USB ports that screwed it all up. So put everything back the way it was and it is working again. Whew. That was a wasted hour of my morning. So.....now I need to get to work.

Chris - hope your brother will be ok. Hope your molds come out in one piece. I can only imagine how wonderful your home must smell!

Nancy - glad you had a nice walk with Luther and enjoy the game later.

Trudy - wish I was there to help you too. I need to organize my scrap room too. I also need to get into our crawlspace this week to start getting out Xmas stuff.

Chris & Trudy - enjoy your cyber shopping today.

I'm getting to work now. Have a great day everyone.

Hello ladies, :smow:
and happy first snow for me! It wasn't stop almost whole day and world is pretty quiet sleeping under its white blanket. I know it wouldn't be for a long, but let me not be objective for a little.
Very useful day for me. My mom wake me up early (for my standards), to clean up after the yesterday's party. It was just a family dinner, so no need much work and at first I was irritable to be woken up. I prefer to wake naturally when my body said it is time. But then she told me that also its start to fall the first snow, so I was very happy to have small extra time at this so beautiful day. Also I had few pots still outside, we talked about them yesterday, but temperatures was so nice, so I convinced others to not rush. Bad decision :) . But they on warm now. Also few little tasks which was procrastinate are checked today.
My Cyber Monday was very successful too and I'm ready with the Christmas shopping.

Chris, bravo, Gary's wine holders are so wonderful, funny and playful. I'm not on FB so I can see yours FW stuff, but I believe on Trudy, when she aid they are awesome! Good luck! Will see that will be success. The snow not help much to my mother's cold and I'm worry it is spread to us too, so the whole family drink tea with honey now. Strange but I'm feel better than the others, usually I'm second when someone is sick?! Oh so nasty about the Stabilizer smell, hope the coughing is gone fast! But good that you are close to the final! When is the actual date for the open house?! Hope you and your mom found what you wanted! OH, and so bad about your brother, hope he will recovery fast!

Rae, the obstacles happen always when person are most busy, Murphy's law. I hope you could catch up the lost time! This for the owl is so strange. I was heard that they can attack kittens, but I'm always think this is stupid joke from the comedy movies.

Nancy, a new vacuum is a great surprise. Use it for long time! I understand your feelings about the Outlander end of the season, I'm so eager to see the new season of Humans, but they say that will be the next year :( . So good that you and Luther had nice walk! Mine are unhappy, the thingy because can't go outside for a long in this snow, and bigger because hate to sleep inside. Hope tonight's hockey game is successful too!

Trudy, did wine bottling was fun?! I'm baked gingerbread house only once for a scrapbook, but the dough became so firm as a stone. Good luck with your craft room cleaning! My sister want I to do that too. She is minimalist style, but I'm so sentimental, so I have few cabinets full with things that would not use anymore, but still keep. Last year we both donated together 5 bags with toys to organization for children which she support, still with labels. Of course I don't need them but I remember they are been gifts for special occasions and I kept them for so long. And If it wasn't for charity probably I never wouldn't agree. :guilty

Hello, Jean, hope your day is successful too and the library had the books that you need!
