It is Monday and a short week for many of us in the US. Caitlyn only has classes today and tomorrow and Scott has classes only today.
I know a lot of my friends who have kids away at school are happy to have them home for the break. I know how happy I would be if me kids lived away at school.

The good news from yesterday was that the last batch of lotion bars unmolded perfectly. whew! They are all wrapped and ready to label.
The bad news from yesterday was when I walked into my bedroom and there was a dead mouse on the floor Blech!

Breakfast was nice with my parents and I finished a scrap page for Dec.
Go me!

Today is going to be sunny but cold. Not the best weather for food shopping but it is always easier when it isn't raining. This afternoon, I want to see if I can do the bath bombs. The cold and dry weather is good for molding them. I just haven't figured out what EO blends I want to use for the shower steamer tabs. I also need to make another batch of the dog treats since we are empty.

Wishing you all the best today!

Nancy- I am never going to get my leaves raked with this wind! It is brutal out there. Good thing that Luther is so solid or you would blow away on your walk.
Three goals in three minutes? Wow, that sounds crazy! Sorry that the team never recovered after that.

Trudy- what a fun shopping day you had! However, I don't have to leave my house for any Christmas Chaos! :pound:
The sculptor sounds so creative, I would imagine that if Gary had the "momentum" in building things he would be able to do the same kinds of things. I am so happy for you that your calendar came out so nice. Happy but totally unsurprised.
No bath bombs yesterday but the will be cursing if I do them today. My cuticles are all cracked and ripped and the citric acid is going to burn like hell.

Rae- I wondered if you were all caught up on the Blacklist. All I can say is what an ending!.
You and your clothing karma! Just awesome! And even more awesome on dropping another size. You rock!!

Felis- that stinks about the visit with your uncle. I understand how you feel on that and I don't understand why someone would continue to talk about that, especially knowing that it is a bad topic for you. When Caitlyn turned 5 or 6, the only place that she wanted to go for her birthday was McDonald's (even though I tried everything in my power to make her go somewhere else). There were a father and 2 kids in the booth behind us and they were talking about deer hunting non-stop. It was horrible. Cait and I still "joke" about what a terrible birthday that was.
So far, so good with Photoshop, it didn't crash at all on me yesterday. it is a really old version and there isn't any support for it so it will be bad if I lose it. *knocks wood that I don't*

Jean- how was your lazy day? I cannot watch football and have to tune it out when Gary watches. heh-- for a lot of the same reasons that I can't stand hunting. It is all blood sport and the players' brain injuries are so horrible.
Hope that the rain stayed rain b/c I know that no one is ready for the S-Word:smow:

Rae- how nice to get some me time!

love to all!

Good Monday Morning everyone! Well I think we should have started building the Ark yesterday as it was a downpour all day long!! Not sure how many inches we got of rainfall, but it must have been a lot! Today is misty and foggy a good day to just chill in the house and get some more projects done and off the list. That list grew again over the weekend as DH finished what he was working on and now I will be giving it a new look with some black cottage paint. It shouldn't take me too long and I will post some before and after pics when I am done. Yesterday went as expected, no scrapping as there was always something else that needed to be attended to. I did however get all my :washing: done and the entire house cleaned. I started some bone broth the other day and it has been in the crock pot for almost two days now, so it will be all done in a few hours and ready to use. Yummy :hungry:

Chris - It seems you got quite a bit accomplished yesterday! I am so happy that your soap molds turned out perfect finally! I wish I was in your home to smell all the wonderful smells! My house smells like bone broth LOL. Not anywhere near as nice as what your house must smell like! I will have to see if I can find a few photos of what this guy makes out of motorcycle parts, perhaps it would motivate your Gary to start to build something like that he could sell? So happy that your Photoshop is behaving itself! I will pray to the computer gods that it continues to work for you for years to come!

Ok off to get some coffee and then I will pop in again to catch up with the rest of you.

Totally predictable I couldn't sleep last night. When I have one of these episodes of insomnia, I know it's better to up and do something, because I couldn't fall a sleep before the sunrise, which was very late today, because of the clouds. But I couldn't concentrate in anything and finished browsing at blogs, and reading how people are recover their son from bipolar with prayings or what is to be pregnant in Denmark, or also for the girl which also pretends that fight for better world, but can't stop buy shoes, many post for shoes and ect. :censored: ?! I remember past two years this day was sunny because it was special date for my beloved which now is passed away . I'm so blue today, sorry! Maybe I have to start pray like the boy from the blog, but how to believe in mercy of godds which can just sit and watch horrible violence against the innocents?! Where are all these burning bushes and salt pillar?

Chris, I'm sorry you are have so horrible day! I hate when this happened to me. Oh, poor little mouse!
I think my uncle just have so limited list of interests and just cant accept how much I even loathe all these violence. He triumphs that all our conversations about hunt from years ago aren't changed him even little bit, and now I'm too tired to continue to argue with him. Nevermind! So good that the lotion bars are finally perfect and Photoshop is working. I was play at one of their giveaways, but with no result. Ummm, to be honest I still love to go to McDonald's, they make best ever pie! Also ice cream at the summer. Especially when you are child this is lovely place, so I totallyunderstand Caitlyn, so sad that is turned so bad, but you have at least memory for this day.

Trudy, my dad told that this morning till is drive to work he is saw snow. I love the snow, but is small too early even for me. It's so cold today, that I wouldn't be surprised, but still feel it to early. Oh, please yes, show us these before and after pics, I love when you make renovation projects! Have a tasty dinner and warm night!

To all other girls I left personal notes yesterday, and will catch today's - tomorrow. Now need a little sleep! :sheep1
So have warm and safe day all!

Ok back with my coffee :cof1: and loving the warm vanilla flavour of it!

Rae - WTG on the shopping and the size decrease! I am stuck at my current weight and size for weeks now, not sure what else I can do to take off another 5lbs or so, but oh well I am quite happy where I am at right now, perhaps it would be good if I could drop a bit more before heading to Paris in the summer, just in case I get tempted by all that wonderful french food and wine :becky: Good luck at VV today, I bet you make another great shopping score! I am too busy buying Christmas gifts to even think of getting more clothes for myself  but I will soon be done and then I can start to shop for myself again.

Felis - Sorry that you and your Uncle have these horrible discussions! It is very difficult to get some people to change their way of thinking. I hope that perhaps this latest visit from him will have gone better than you expect! Yes I do put different birthdays etc on everyones calendars, but once they are all on there it is easy to just open up the original and change it or remove certain items, I then just save it and get it printed out. So sorry that you are feeling so down today! It is always hard to get over the loss of a beloved I hope that you find some peace in your sleep tonight! Please feel better soon!

Heather is face timing so I will pop in later to catch up gotta go... :bolt:

Good morning, ladies. My usual super busy Monday has started. Opened up my email and there were tons of files already sent over. I'm not surprised. If both clients are working, Monday is always going to be one of my busiest days of the week.

Had some amazing shopping yesterday morning at VV (ha ha what else is new LOL, with my amazing clothing karma). Got a brand new black puffy jacket for $6 (everything was 50% off). So I got a bunch of skinny low rise jeans which is mostly what I wear, grabbed 2 pairs for Jen and managed to grab a few more sweaters along with a brand new pajama set. It was so busy and there was a huge lineup for the changing room so a bunch of us hung out at the back of the store, chatting and sorting thru our stuff to get it organized. It was a fun couple of hours.

Then came home, got the laundry going and made lunch. Afterwards, I sat down to start scrapping and there was a firefox update that installed. As soon as that happened, the browser got glitchy and kept freezing, then it wouldn't let me open links. I went to close down the tab and it was frozen. So for the next couple of hours I uninstalled, defragged and googled what to do. Tried a few different browsers. My tablet is not working properly now so am using a mouse, today am able to open a browser but the tablet won't work. So no scrapping for me yesterday....ugh.

Chris - glad your soap finally turned out. Bet your home smells lovely. I'm goin to try some DIY odor bombs for the garbage can. Probably won't have time this week but next wkend that is on my list to do. Have you ever made them? (baking soda, EOils).

Trudy - isn't this rain awful? I was soaked when out yesterday. Poor Taz hated the wind howling and banging things around. Bet your bone broth is good.

I'm getting to work now. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Felis - hope you have a good sleep and you feel more refreshed and your blues lift. Hugs to you.

Trudy - maybe try what I've done to drop the last bit of weight. Try eating more veggies and less protein. Or go paleo like me and eliminate the dairy. The only dairy I eat now is plain greek yogurt (with a bit of stevia) and goats cheese. But there may also be other ways to tweak, maybe the type of protein, decrease your fats a bit or try intermittent fasting. Even if you never lose that last 5, I bet you feel and look great!

Got up too early (for me) because I was thinking of the things I needed to gather to work on the project I'll do on family history for presents. Also did my usual Monday bills and such. I'm scanning photos and things and still thinking of how to print what I'll create, probably a small book. It was nice that the sun shone and it was not so cold.

Chris, eek! Another mouse is not nice, I assume from the cat. Hope your day was better than that and shopping went well and everything else worked.

Trudy, sorry you're getting so much rain. But you're doing lots of good in your house.

Felis, hope you get the needed sleep tonight!

Rae, you just keep amazing with your shopping!

Nancy, hope you didn't blow away with Luther.
