Has everyone flipped their calendars yet? I got two out of three that I use moved to November and it is making me feel a bit anxious. I wish that I was little and these months would go so slow. And that I didn't have any responsibilities hahaha!

How was Halloween, did you get a lot of Trick or Treaters? We got a bunch, maybe a little more than usual, but still probably around 10 groups. We set up a table on the porch since the dogs made it really hard to open the door. Unfortunately, that means we don't get to see everyone's costumes :(
The six of us carved pumpkins together which was fun and messy. We had lots of pumpkin seeds to snack on, they are so yummy and salty. The four kids went to a haunted house after dinner, makes me happy that they get along so well.

Not much is happening today, I have to get ready for the week ahead and try to break out of the bad mood I have been in. It isn't major, more annoying to myself than anything.

@Cherylndesigns If you haven't dealt with septic, ya just don't get it. I hope that future guests at the cabin read and follow the sign's directions.

Morning, all. Had to get my challenge LO into the gallery first thing this morning. Always love the first of the month and seeing all the new challenges open - just waiting for the LOs. Up and dressed early this morning just in case I need to go pick up my niece. Her truck may need new brake pads - they were making noise yesterday. If the truck is in the shop for a several hours, she will call and I will pick her up and bring her until it is done. She will be leaving for AZ either today or tomorrow - depending on if the brakes are okay or are fixed. This will be a busy week for me... need to get my drivers license renewed, pick up Rx refills at base and do the commissary run plus return the library books.

I packed away the Halloween/fall decorations yesterday afternoon. For the past few weeks, I had been looking for a storage container for them as this was the 1st year I had them. The wreath is 25" across and couldn't find a square cardboard box that wide or wider. Had a brain-storm when I was out in the garage and saw a big square plastic zip bag that one of my comforter sets came in. Took the older comforter set and put it and the matching throw pillows into a large Space Bag and shrunk it down. The comforter zip bag was 33" square - larger than the fall wreath so had plenty of storage for the wreath and all the rest of the fall/Halloween decorations. Think I will cut strips out of the cardboard box my new cookware came in an slip them along the sides and bottom of the bag to help keep it firm & stable.

Cheryl, so glad you gals lucked into the start-up of a place and could get a spot. Whoo-whee... what great timing. Sorry about Ava and the problem with the septic system. Too bad the renters don't pay attention to warning about it.

Morning everyone, yikes its NOVEMBER!!!! How the heck did that happen?? So yes I have turned my Calendar page to November and now the panic mode starts to get things ready for December LOL. I had a very busy Sunday as usual, but did not get my house cleaning done, so that will be on the to do list today. Along with getting coupons ready and delivered to the challenge winners for October. So today will fly by!

@faerywings - We sadly had the fewest trick or treaters ever, since moving into this neighbourhood :( only 28 kids. When we had our first Halloween here we had over 100 kids. Lots of fireworks across the lake so it was nice to see them, but I bet all the pets and other animals were very frightened! While I was standing on the upper front deck watching them I saw two very large racoons running like crazy to hide under the bushes in our yard. Poor things!! How fun to still be able to carve pumpkins with your kids and yes so nice that they all get along so well and will spend time doing things together! You are blessed!! Hope you get out of your bad mood, I can totally relate! (((hugs)))!

@tanteva - Wow this cold is just not letting you go is it!! Hope you feel much better by tomorrow!

Kay - What a great idea for the storage of your Fall Wreath and other Halloween decorations! You are one smart cookie!! Sounds like you will have a very busy week ahead! Nice that you are hearing from your sister! So nice that you will be there for your niece if she needs you! You are fortunate to have so much family near you!

Ok I need to get these coupons ready to go and do a few other things here at the O today. Also have a layout to get posted to the gallery, so I better get cracking! Have a great Monday everyone!

Good morning ladies. I need to get to work now. I've been out in the yard with the dogs, reading thru CT stuff here and still need to post a page now before starting work, so need to get a move on. I'm going out for an hour this afternoon to shoot a family session. I don't think I'll do many now, I am not enjoying it like I used to. I just want to work on my own photos.

I took a ton of photos of the dogs at the water yesterday so will post a few later in the forum. They had a blast and were absolutely covered in mud. We all went home to shower afterwards.

Happy Monday and first day of November. Past month been a little crazy for me, and it's a new month and I'm celebrating all month since it's my birthday month..... I accept chocolates, wine, coffee and crafting supplies!!! :p

@faerywings my daughter had a blast trick or treating.... the males in my house hold tend to be bah humbugs. I didn't particularly enjoy the walking around as we weren't in our neighborhood, but it really was all about her.

going to be placing my order for the turkey. Hubby is Jamaican and our local Jamaican restaurant does an amazing jerk turkey. In fact that is the only way we will eat turkey, otherwise it's a no go for us.

Some additional randomness from me:

My Christmas shopping is finished.... I hate black friday.... I love Cyber Monday and really want a tree in each room of the house..... hubby says I've lost my mind....

How's this for Monday brain dump?

Good afternoon my lovely OOOOOO's.

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down - oh wait, that's a song. LOL It's SO dark and rainy and now thundering. Wonderful way to start the week. Chuck has to go pick Alyssa up at school at 3 - Roger left yesterday am for his "real job" in Florida. Adrienne was going to get up and take him to the airport over an hour away. We told her that she did not need a car! We have one that just sits here most of the time. So, he offered to pick Alyssa up. Rog picks her up every day.

Oh my! He got caught in that American Airlines "dump" yesterday! He sat in Charlotte for HOURS. We were all frantically on our phones trying to find him a flight to W. Palm - or anywhere close and NOTHING! He FINALLY got out of there but didn't get into FL until very late last night. We felt so bad for him. What a mess! I just hope our family gets here for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Kay @BrightEyes how awesome that you got to recycle that bag for your wreath. I always hate to get rid of those - I usually keep them because they're so handy to store things in.

Girls, we're all so excited about this new venture! Ava had a lot of merchandise from her online vintage children's clothing and this opportunity just fell in our laps Saturday! @Cherylndesigns Ava's shoppe is soooooo cute. Makes me wish I had a baby again...... and 5 seconds later, never mind..... LOL. I'll buy and spoil other's kids. Will her shop and the mercantile have an online capability..... we just got our new house building permit.... dream house is getting ready to get rolling. Therefore..... I may need some eclectic pieces for my office.

Oh, thanks, Esther!! She's working on that. LOL The store doesn't have an online presence yet, but she'll get them onboard. LOL I know that she still sells her vintage baby clothes online. It's the absolute CUTEST clothing you can even imagine - SO soft and snuggly. She has a huge order coming in and I'm sure I'll be tagging things at my house. I can provide up close if you want anything. Those little knee socks with the foxes on them are SO cute I can't stand it!!

Congrats on your building permit - that's awesome news, Girl!!! I know how exciting that is for you!!
