Happy Monday and Happy First Birthday to my Godson!!! I love that little boy! I guess I can't call him my "baby" any more. You should have seen him trucking around with his walking toy at his party. He was just zipping along with a huge grin on his face.

Today is my day to try an catch up on life, bills, schedules and menu for the week. It looks like today is going to be the only sunny day so I need to get some yard work in and then I have to scrap. I am a bit behind on some CT work. :/

Anyway-- what plans do you have for this new day? Hope you have some good stuff goingon!

Me Me Monday- if I can get some yard work *and* scrap time, I will be a happy girl!!!

Trudy- I saw some NJ friends post some pics of the moon on Facebook and it was just gorgeous! I didn't even bother to try.

I did get to snuggle with my guy and my BFF even took a photo of it, since I have so few pics of me and him together.

Laurie- I would not be able to stand it not seeing outside all day. ITA-- go for a quick walk on your breaks and revive yourself.

Dumpty- welcome back!!!!
 
Morning O fam- yes it is a Marvelous Monday!! I get to return to work today- to bless others with my presence- it will be a wonderful day. I can't believe I had the energy to get my 2 mile walk in this morning. I am nearly packed and have 30 min to go. We are expecting storms later in the day, so doggie must stay in. Me Me monday- I am going to walk around the building at lunch to see daylight!! Catch you all this evening - may you have Marvelous Mondays as well!
 
Morning peeps! Glad to be back home, tho seeing old friends at the beach was a lot of fun. Rain and chilly until we left but that was ok. Just seeing the ocean under that Full Moon was a treat.

Good for you Laurie on an am start with a walk. ITA about getting out. When I started out with the State I had a job in the basement of the Capital and looked at the elevators. I was only there less than a month when I got a much different job and realized I would have gone nuts if I'd had to go beyond the 90 day Legislative Session. We need daylight even in small doses!

Chris - hope your day is easy and you can get onto your fun 'duties'.

Me? I have to do laundry, and a few odds and ends to get going on serious packing. Think ..la dolce vita. I freak out about now wondering What kind of weather will we really get, however, I'm pretty calm now since we are having the same kind of weather here. Sunny, then overcast with a great variance in temperatures.

been a LONG WEEKEND!! ugh

roommate in the hospital had knee surgery...so i guess i have become taxi service to her 19yr old daughter...since now she no longer has a ride to and from work....this makes me very unhappy LOL....seeing as we live out in the country it takes time to drive back and forth!! GRRR!! NOT FUN!!! and im sure i'll be the one to go pick her up from the hospital as well whenever she gets out...shes going for more surgery tomorrow i guess to close up the knee...cause they had to keep draining it....
i feel bad for being upset about all this...but this is seriously disrupting my schedule LOL...and im hoping that shes still not in on friday and needing to come home cause i will not be here to do anything LOL....we have plans to go out friday day/night and will be staying over night weeeeeeeeeeeeee its our mothers day/his birthday night of fun LOL....and im NOT MISSING IT!!!! lol......

we have also been trying to get the pool set up....ugh that was exhausting digging in the sand in 90 degree damn near 100% humidity omg....i almost passed out a few times!! YIKES!!! not fun...but we got it done and the pool semi filled gotta do more of tha ttoday
 
Laundry here too. Hung the first load - 2nd load is in the machine. I should be outside fixing with my garden ... avoiding it best I can :lalala:

Have scrapped and written a bit. Need to plan for dinner. Spaghetti with bacon in a cream sauce ... yeah - I think that's it for today. Sounds easy enough :)

Morning Ladies... I am stiff and sore from working outside all day yesterday! OMG the weeds do grow well!! None left in my yard now though and the back of my legs are letting me know it!! But we ended the day with a nice supper of BBQ ribs and relaxed on the deck with a glass of wine. We spent so much time in the yard that we didn't even have time to fit in a walk. Off to work and then my day off on Tues. Hopefully I can spend it getting caught up in the gallery and scrapping!

Chris - Can't wait to see the photo of you and your little man! Sounds like he was a Happy Birthday Boy!! Hope you get caught up with your CT work! Have a great day!

Laurie - Back to work UGH!! Hard to do after a nice vacation! Good for you for fitting in your walk already, hope its sunny and warm on your lunch walk!

Maureen - Too bad that the weather was not great for your beach trip! Nice that you had a good time with your friends though! Packing again?? Are you headed to Italy?? Can I come along with you?? My next trip will be back out to Winnipeg to help out my son with the kids again. I think perhaps that your trip might be more fun!

Kristy - It is upsetting when our routines get interrupted! But what a good friend you are for helping out! Hope you get the pool finished, be careful of that darn heat exhaustion drink plenty of water girl!!

Eva - Sounds like a very pleasant day to me! Your dinner sounds yummy! WTG on your layout of the year!! You have every reason to brag!!!

hiya. here's me squinting at the monitor, trying to see what i'm writing. another day of the Ophthalmologist, just for my yearly check-up. went grocery shopping afterwards. THAT was interesting, since i couldn't see too well. no i plan to drive over to BK and get a burger with no bun and a few French Fries. then, whoa. do i ever have a lot of IRONING to do....

Chris, hope you get caught up!

Laurie, i think you're my idol. you seem to do it all with a lot of calm grace!

Maureen, off AGAIN?? you must have more Frequent Flyer Miles than anyone on earth!

Kristy, don't you feel BAD when you are trapped in a situation you can't get out of and one that you should try to be helpful? i hate that. guilt. frustration. totally. but i really understand where you're coming from.

Trudy, i was out in the yard forever yesterday, planing seeds with a prayer that i'll get at least SOME zucchini this year! it was such a gorgeous day here yesterday. thunderstorms moving in later today, though, so my joints feel like i've been hit with a bat. but the plantings need the H2O!

Eva! congrats! that is a beautiful page!

OK. off to meet up with my burger. see y'all tomorrow.

Wow - my day turned out more active than planned :) My sister called. Mom and dad are going to sell the house, and the real estate agent had called today, and said she's coming on Thursday to check out the house. Mom was in total panic LOL We had to go up and help her a bit. Will take a couple of days, but we're going to clear out lots of stuff in the basement. Oh, I really hope they will get a good price and mostly that someone wants to buy the house. Then mom and dad can buy a flat closer to the shops and not have to deal with heating and garden and everything that they really can't keep up with.

Good thing is that my dad is well again. That man is totally stubborn. He lives solely on being stubborn - I'm sure. His heart is so damaged, the drs are amazed he's still alive. Pure stubborness :)
