Wow, double digits in May already?? Too bad it feels more like March. 36* right now. I do not like the cold! :smow:

Did my O-Fam enjoy the weekend and Mother's Day?
My SIL had a really fun luau themed Mother's Day party. And both sides (all sides?) of the families were there, so it turned out really nice. Other than that, same old same old. Mom does the laundry, dishes and all that good stuff:mmph:

I am trying to get myself into a "good Monday mode" I hope I can pull it off. I have been feeling kind of down/off for the last couple of weeks. I wish I could snap out of it. The new smilies are making me happy though. Its the little things, man, the little things.....

I am either hoping for some scrap therapy time or at least some time to file my nails!

I need a some GOOD MONDAY vibes myself!!!

Yesterday was a quiet day for us, for the most of it. We did cancel our Mother's Day plans. Sharon and Family came over for a little while and we grilled some hotdogs...but that was it....Traci was coming but we talked for a while on the phone and we decided to do something this week, just she and I.

Well...we woke up to a very cold house this morning.....YIKES!!! The temp had gotten down to 60 inside the house....we did not pay close enough attention to the weather....we should have cut the heat back on!! I had an extra blanket at the foot of the bed...I pulled that up on me...I was warm in the bed...but DH was shivering and snuggling up to me this morning!! He took a very hot shower too....I am with you Chris....what happened to the weather???

So did anyone see Betty White on SNL??? You have to love Betty!!!!

Chris...that sounds like a fab Mother's Day party!!! I am glad you enjoyed!! I hear ya on the "usual" stuff...no pampering going on here either!!!:tsk:
 
ohhhhh Girlies...I'm sending MAJOR "YAY for MONDAY" vibes!! I woke up this morning soooo thankful for this day, you wouldn't believe...and it's all because I went to bed around 10:45 and slept until 9:30am this morning. YAY!!!!!!!! a fresh start for me WITH SLEEP!!! it's amazing what sleep can do for you!!

Anyway, I've got my list going. I was sooo happy to get my craft studio all cleaned up last night so that I can see my lists of projects to do today...including release some NEW products here at the O!! yay!!! :) I love mondays...did I say that already???

For mother's day yesterday, we all went over to my mom's house...including my in-laws, which is the best. My mom and my mil get along so well..they hang out together without me!!! So they put together our lunch and it was sooooo good! the guys grilled burgers and my mom did all the sides...potato salad, beans, deviled eggs...ohhh all my faves!! it was soooo good. And then we all make our own sundaes. The kids loved it, too! Then I came home and cleaned the studio and watched the last of season 5 of "the Office"...i was really sad that Netflix didn't have season 6 yet on dvd or instant download...*sigh* i'll have patience!! :)

Chris, ohhh girlie, you HAVE to come here when it's cold like that. I think it's probably going to be in the high 80s today, here. It's already warm in the craft studio, because the windows face east, so the sun has already cooked this room!! but it's breezy so, yep...gorgeous. My guest room is calling you and Nana Linda!!! :)

NanaLinda, you can actually call this Mother's Week for you and continue to celebrate! I love that!! Mr Gorgeous fixed me dinner last night, and it was sooo good!! So I was spoiled like crazy yesterday...I'm thinking it's all over now!! LOL!!!

Everyone have a WONDERFUL MONDAY today!!!

for me me Monday, I'm gonna grab a coke from McD's (1$ - any size!!) and shop today!! :)

Oh, ladies, my Mom just called and My aunt is gone.:angel: A very sad day. But bless her heart, she is not suffering anymore. Please pray for her family. They will need this now. Thanks to you all again for your support.. what would I do without my O family??

I'm still sick. it's getting worse not better. I feel like death warmed over today. off to lay on the couch... LOs will have to wait :(
 
Hi Girlies!
I'm so sorry I haven't written for so long time... Last week I was ill, I had problems with my throat, but it's already OK...
I'm so fed up with everything recently... I'm tired and so on...
Recently, I've just registered to an exam of English (a certificate) and I'm afraid a little... I don't know if my knowledge of this language is good enough to pass well the exam... especially I'm worry about vocabulary, phrasal verbs, idioms... I hope I'll menage...
My problem is the work of my Peter too... He comes back from work at 6-7pm and is really tired (I'm not surprised)... and we have less time for us too... I hate days of work and love weekends (why is it only two days...)
OK, I have to go sleeping, it's 00:25 in Poland...
