Good morning and happy Monday to you! Did you all see? Challenge #1 has been posted and it looks like it will be an interesting one for sure!

Yesterday was mostly productive, I think. I prepped all of my food shopping things and I also paid some more bills. Cleaned the house, 2 loads of laundry. Scrapped a LO for the April Challenge and started a page for a March Challenge. Hmm... I guess I did more than I had thought. Not bad!

I am happy that I prepped everything that I needed for shopping because we are almost out of coffee and Cait will be home for dinner and I need something to cook. I am going to do my town errands tomorrow and food shop today.

Darn it-- my dogs have a sixth sense about when I am trying to post these. Have to take them outside, back soon!

Yannow-- why is it that they get my attention, I bundle up, take them outside and then they do nothing? Hmmph.

Anyway, that is about it for me. Boring day ahead. Guess that is all good.
xoxo

I tried to upload and post a picture of my protest poster and I had such problems with it. I tried imgur and tinypic and neither of them worked. But I am doing the March journaling challenge that has the photo on it. I will share that when it is done and uploaded. :)

Jean- your meeting must have been fun. I like Soda bread but not the raisins. (Blech!!) I end up picking out so much that there isn't any bread left. LOL
I hope that your bracket is doing well.

Hugs to all of you! ::grouphug

good morning - Well my Devils are 3-1 are their road trip. This weekend they defeated the LA Kings but lost to the Anaheim Ducks. If they had to lose to a team I was glad it was the Ducks because that pushed the Kings out of the playoffs LOL. My DH made it back safely and I made lasagna for us. It was a real hit. And now there are left overs which they are all taking in for lunch. He had a great time in CO. He learned a lot about his family. There are baseball genes in his family. His granddad played for the Chicago Cubs. Only one year because the woman he loved refused to marry a baseball player. So he gave it up. But he can be found in the MLB database. They gave my DH a cute booklet on his career with clippings and everything. It was great for him to reconnect with his family. Luther was very excited to have him back. They had a great walk this am. My son did a great job on Sunday walking the dog and then doing the grocery shopping while I cleaned and then cooked. Today is more scrapping.

Chris sounds like you are well prepared for the week. The hardest part is deciding what to cook. Hope you get your blood work done today! I saw the picture of the poster. It worked. There were two of them and I wondered why you did two posts. But they did show up for me.

Jean I love soda bread. I cant believe all the upsets in the NCAA basketball tournament. Makes it fun but sure plays havoc with brackets. Hope yours is doing well.

Waving to all

Have a great day!

Morning ladies... It will be a busy week with the all the Birthday happenings here at the O! always a great time! I hope that you can all participate! I was MIA from my computer yesterday as DH and I worked on the new countertop install for my laundry room. It turned out really nice and I now have a big area to fold all my clothes and keep my new washer and dryer from getting all scratched on the top. I am a happy woman! :bliss: I think that now I will look for a new light fixture in the laundry room, the one I have is very ugly and it really doesn't give off a good light. You all will think that I am crazy getting all excited about my laundry room :loco: and you will really think that I am crazy to tell you that I love to iron my sheets and pillow cases, so I spend a lot of time in my laundry room LOL. I will have to do a page with photos when it is all completed :becky: Today I hope to spend most of my day right here. Oh and I never got the bathrooms cleaned yesterday so I need to that too. Ugh!

Chris - You really did get a lot accomplished yesterday! It really is a better shopping experience when you know exactly what you need, however I usually forget to get something even though its right there on the list LOL. Sorry your dogs are making you bundle up to go outside for nothing LOL. Enjoy your day and hopefully the grocery shopping trip goes fast and easy! Looking forward to seeing your layout for the journaling challenge!

Nancy - Nice to hear that your Devils are doing well on their road trip, all that travel must be so hard on the players! Nice to have your DH back home I bet and your Lasagna dish sounds delicious! Luther is a happy boy to have your hubby back! How wonderful that your DH's grandfather was a pro baseball player, too bad he had to give it up! Nice that the family was able to give so much info, it is important to stay connected! Friends come and go, but family is forever! How nice that your son was such a help doing the shopping and walking the dog too!

Ok I will go and read what the others have posted over the weekend and then will catch up with everyone. Off to the gallery too to see the pages for the party! Have a great morning everyone!

Another sunny not so cold day but the snow lingers in shadier areas. DH did Hum & Strum and I did bills and installed my tax program (oh fun!) We'll probably be boring the rest of the day. We did find the NCAA basketball interesting, especially with all the upsets. I don't do a "bracket", just keep track and of course we hoped Ohio State would win and other Big 10 teams. At least two of the four advanced.

Chris, I also saw the poster photo twice. And yes, you got a lot done yesterday. Hope the lab work got done? and that shopping went well. Are the kids back in school this week?

Nancy, what a fun trip for your DH and making all those re-connections with family and its stories. Hope your sons get to hear all about it. Nice having others walk Luther, especially until the weather is nicer.

Trudy, I get excited about things others might find unusual, so why not the laundry room, especially if you spent much time there. The O birthday will keep us hopping.

Felis, I finally posted week 10, but need to start week 11. We're trying to get to spring but looks like we'll have to wait until April. Hope you keep nice weather.

Hello girls,
yesterday's shopping was full success! At the garden center we found roses on sale, so I got what I needed! Just hope that they will grow up, as they was suspicious cheap. I left planting for somewhere in the future, because yesterday was rainy whole day and today is so cold, that I'm pretty sure I saw snowflakes at some moments in afternoon. All tulips are shown in this cold will stress them. Such a strange weather. Tomorrow is astronomical Spring begin, but we are back to winter temperatures.

Chris, great that you are had so successful day! Last time when I shared photos I created private album here at O and upload it directly here, this prevent me from troubles with other hosting sites, without to be shown into the gallery. I saw the posters yesterday. Two photos, as Nancy said, and they are great! I'm sure you'll make big impression! It's sad only that this boy the killer received what he wanted, his name will be remembered forever with this law change.

Trudy, I definitely want to see page for laundry room! I don't have such a thing, just one :washing: at the kitchen. Is it a wet place or person can put some like cat playground there?! I just wondering :) .

Nancy, it's not surprising that you have athlete somewhere in your family. Good that your husband is had nice time even in this sad moment! Maybe next time they will be together for some good occasion and even you'll can go too!

Jean, I saw your weekly page, but I'm not read it yet. But your cellphone wallpaper is so cool, love it! No,now we have winter temperatures with mud :tsk:, the worst weather , but hope it's not for long! The basketball sounds fun! And how nice to have these St. Pat's day goodies at the computer genealogy group.

Rae, hope soon to hear good news from you!

Now I need to see all lovely pages in our Birthday gallery! Have fun girls! And happy birthday O!
