Insomnia bites!!!! I have been up since 3 am again. And with the time change I feel even more "off." WTH is it so easy to be exhausted yet so hard to sleep???

Yesterday I was complaining that my schedule for the day got all wonky, now I am somewhat glad that I only have a few things to do today. I can lay low for a while this morning. This afternoon, I have that meeting with a possible new client. I really hope it works out and we both agree to a good deal.

We had a really nice time at Scott's GF's house yesterday. Its just Leah and here mom and my family plus my parents and my IL's were invited. We ate and played some games and I LMBO! Not to mention it makes me so happy to see Scott so happy. :)

Not much to say ATM other than I need lots and lots of coffeeeeeee. More so than usual.

Has everyone been have a great time at the party? OMG, this place is hopping!!!!
If I can get my brain together, I am going to scrap a challenge or two today as well!

I am going to try to be my cheery self (bwah!!!) ans catch up on some personals :)

Trudy- Hope that you got caught up ok yesterday. Losing that hour is tough, isn't it?

Linda S- Did you end up with a lot of snow? Sounds just like what we went through on Friday- supposed to be rain, then 9"! The b-day party sounds perfect! 100% worth it!

Kristi- I need a re-wind on the weekend as well!

Nancy- still too cold up here to walk but hopefully soon. I really need to get out in my yard, even if to just clean up sticks, but we are still covered in snow. That jowbone sounds really really neat!! I'd hate to see what it would say about my living habits however. My sleep cycle would probably short circuit the thing.
It would be funny to see if it could meaure your heart rate during the Devil's games!!!

Laurie, did you enjoy the weather/yard work too? So jealous! LOL

Nana, J and everyone else I am missing-- hope you all have a really good weekend!

Oh my I did, but the time change made it too late to soak my aching muscles in the hot tub. Now it is pouring rain outside. At least I won't miss working outside today and I rarely get to see outside anyways. I just finished my workout- one step closer to the body I see in my mind, but not in the mirror. I kind of fell off the excited workout wagon, but I am ready to go again. I will need all the energy to scope out all the new stuff in the gallery when I get back from work and grocery shopping today!

Morning ladies... I have been so absent from this party, but I hope to be able to catch up on leaving some love today at work. I work out in the kiosk in the lumber yard this morning and it is so boring out there so I get to be on the computer for a couple of hours and hopefully I can be back here with all of you! Yesterday MG and I went for a 3hr hike, on a trail we have never done before and man was it a killer!!! We were both exhausted by the time we got home and I thought my legs were going to fall off of my body!! We crossed that one off of our list and I doubt we will ever attempt it again!! It was straight up the side of the mountain, very tough climb!! I just wanted to have a nice semi tough hike, but this one was really exhausting!!

Chris - I am keeping my fingers crossed for you to get this new client!! Sorry your body is out of whack with the time change and all!! Perhaps a nap is in order for sometime today!! Sounds like you had a very good time at Scott's girlfriends house!! Nice that he has found a great girlfriend who has great parents too!! Have fun at the "O"'s party today and hopefully you get those pages scrapped!!

Laurie - I am working on getting a few pounds off too however I know that this old body will never look really great in a bathing suit again!! As long as you are healthy, that is what really matters right!! :becky:

 to everyone else who pops in here today, hope you all have fun at the party, the place is really hopping!!!

Good morning - today my baby turns 26 woooh wear did the time go. My DH made Philadelphia sticky buns as that is what he wanted not a cake. Boy are they good! Fun way to wake up. Funny to think how far women have come. I went to the Rock to see my Devils play hockey while my husband was home baking for our son's birthday. This makes me feel very lucky!

Chris so sorry you cant sleep! I too had been having trouble falling asleep but I found Jane Fonda's AM/PM yoga for beginners on Amazon. I do the PM and the relaxation and getting rid of the stress has made falling asleep so much easier. And for some one in their 60s I like all the stretching of my muscles to keep them in working order LOL.

Laurie and Trudy I too would love to lose weight but I like to eat LOL.

Have a great day ladies!

Chris, insomnia DOES bite! and it's self-perpetuating, to a certain extent. especially that 3 a.m. thng. every night you think to yourself: it's gonna happen AGAIN!! i KNOW it!!! and so it does. i wake up at 3-something almost every night. but happily, i've been able to fall asleep again lately. my answer has always been audio books in my ear, as SOON as i wake up at a weird hour. it keeps your mind from starting to race on upleasant stuff. hope this resolves for you. nothing like facing the day on 4 hours of sleep....

well, i'm back to The Land of Gloom and Grayness. honestly. speaking of BITING!! the weather around here is enough to make a person hide under a bed indefinitely. the weather in DC was so gorgeous. now back to reality. nothing but clouds. all the time.

today i'm catching up on laundry and cleaning the floors. i went grocery shopping early, and there was no one in the supermarket but me and the guys stocking shelves. nice! i have to get a look at some of the challenges and see whether i can be inspired. there's been nothing creative in my head for a very long time....

Merry Monday. :becky:

Best joke today LOL

Trying to stay sane here ... dad's in hospital ... yes, we've all lost count. He had a terrible headache this time.

Sis is back at the hospital again too. They've seen something on her lungs, and are worried the cancer has spread.

Morning everyone!! I've been in and out of the birthday party here!! I can't believe it's been seven years!! Boy, time has flown by, huh??? But even with my sporadicness, I'm so thankful for you guys and this wonderful site!! What a place to come hOme to!!

I scrapped the first challenge yesterday and almost have today's done!! yipeeeee!! So fun! I'm going to make a Book of sevens and add a bunch of pages...like ask my entire family to write seven things they love or hate or can't live without or whatever and add pages with those lists in there. With all of my craziness (ie...homeschooling, quilting, cleaning-very little of that, unfortunately!-band playing, church stuff, etc...), keeping the memories has been on the down-low. But that is going to slowly change!! :) yay for awesome scrapbooks, huh???

Okay, I'm off to figure out how I can get in trouble this week for spring break, along with playing here!!!

Eva, I still love ya, gal!!! Hugs and blessings to you, sweetie!!!
Phylis, do I need to send you one of my very warm quilts??? (what is snow, anyway????)
Nancy, that is exactly how it should be!!! Mr Gorgeous here does laundry...I watch football...exactly how it should be!! ♥
Trudy, enjoy your time online at work today!! teeheee!! and wow! Your hike inspires me!!! Such beauty on your island...I sure miss it!!!
Laurie, ohhhhhh one thing you said really struck a chord in me today! I need to visualize what I want my body to look like to get me out of the girl scout cookie packages and onto the elliptical!!! Thanks for the inspiration, my sweet friend!!
Ohhhhh Chris, sending loads and loads of coffee to you!! (I'll share my IV with you...not the needles, just the IV!! LOL!!!) love you, sweetie!!!

blessings all around!! Have a marvelous FRESH START MONDAY!!!!!

Aloha! We have been so busy since we arrived!

The first day it rained all day. Can't believe we were actually golfing in the rain. I was drenched! Went golfing again today and then took a drive to Pali Outlook. The best part if the time has been spending it with my grand daughter Cami! Gosh I love spending time with her. I was so happy she warmed up to us quickly. It's been 1 1/2 years since we last saw her and she was only 2. Just turned 4 and having a blast playing.

Tomorrow we get to pick her up from school, then head to Pearl Harbor. Craig is going to enjoy that. Luau tomorrow night. I told the kids I wanted an easy schedule. So far we have been so busy I am ready to fall into bed by 7:30PM.

Hope you are having a wonderful week.

Eva I'm so sorry to hear about the health problems in your family! Hopefully your Dad and sister will be okay!

Chris: I have my fingers and toes crossed for you!

I am at work, trying to stay awake as I haven't slept so well in 2 days so I am counting the seconds until I can go home.
Hopefully I will be awake in time to join the speed scrap :)

I wish you all a wonderful day while I drink my trough of coffee to stay awake :bounce:
