The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
*yawns* I am feeling so sleepy but I think I slept fine? I just can't seem to stop yawning though.

I was able to get quite a bit done yesterday, the kitchen got all cleaned up and my ILs brought pizzas for lunch and we had some leftover for dinner. The ILs had a fantastic vacation, good weather and everything. It had been a while since we had seen them so nice to catch up. After they left here, they were going to look for some window AC units for the time being.
They were cracking up over our Casino Night and since they asked us what theme was next, we picked that-

*drum roll*

And the theme is...

*more drum rolls*

Redneck Night! :p

One thing we want to do is make Redneck Wine Glasses. We have plenty of mason jars, I will just have to run to the thrift store and grab a few candlesticks for the base.

After the ILs left, I went out to do some weeding and what I thought were aphids are whiteflies and they are eating all of the black eyes Susans by the road. *grr* I am going to have to buy some ladybugs to put there.
It is going to be the Triple H Thread today- Hazy Hot and Humid. Not sure what else I need to do around the house today but I know I am going to get out in the yard. Scott's car is in the shop so someone is going to have to drive him to and from work but that is close to here.

HAGD!

Hi, @nancyr Good to see you!! What a great visit with your SIL. ooooh......... why wouldn't your DH use the GPS? Men! That is a long trip, did you do that in one day? I never heard of Winterthur so I googled it-- wow! Bet you got some amazing photos, the gardens look amazing.
I am going to look for that Merlin app-- maybe I will finally figure out what bird makes the chee-burger, chee-burger/chip call.
Have fun watching the hockey and TdF!

Kay- I wish I knew when it was "decided" that Braxton was just staying in the DR indefinitely :D He is kind of fun to have around. I have to change his outfit from casino garb back to his beachwear- he had on flip-flops and a straw hat earlier.
You deserve that cool weather but I cannot imagine what it is like to not have humidity. You lived on Long Island- you know what I mean! ha!

@tanteva great family tree! You look so much like your parents and John is a perfect blend of you and Urban.

Hi Jean! *waves*

@Cherylndesigns Thx for the b-day wishes! I love the idea of an antique shop find and the sign really looks perfect. Your porch must be very festive and patriotic. Were you still in FL last July? I remember you driving to OK in a hurricane so I know it had to be summer.

xoxo

Implying that I look anything like my mother is the greatest insult ever. :D

Love the red neck wine glasses ... Urban is a bit of a snob when it comes to glasses - I'm gonna show him. He's going to die LOL

Trying to stay sane today. Politicians are ... gee ... Even the ones I agree with are stupid. LOL Our prime minister has formally resigned today. Now it's up to the speaker to see if he can find another person (or the same if he can get some kind of other support) that can form a new government ... otherwise we will have a snap election, a year before the real election. Our parliament is so evenly divided between the "left" and the "right" parties, it took four months after the election to form the government we did have. It's a circus. And thinking about how much they earn - they should effingly be able to sort this out.

As it is now we have a "temporary" government - which is the same as yesterday - but they are limited to what they can do. Which is super when we are in the middle of a pandemic. Imagine if ordinary people would behave like this in any other work place?!

Anyway - I gained lots of weight during the weekend. Life is marvellous right now.

Chris use to tell us she's cranky .... I'm way past that .... LOL

*crawling back under my rock* *muttering*

Redneck Party:

Hello all.

Happy almost the end of Tuesday! Adrienne stopped by and we had a nice visit. It's raining so we don't have to water the plants!! YAY! We've been waiting for the rain all day and it's finally here.

Eva @tanteva I almost lost it when you made that comment about somebody saying you looked like your mother. ROTF - I can SO relate!! Your government can't be anymore screwed up than ours is right now.

Chris @faerywings we were still in FL last July. We left for our trek to OK in late August. Hurricane Laura was approximately August 26th. Wow, that seems like a lifetime ago. Time flies when you're having fun.

Daisy and I got our walk in today. They've predicted rain all day and I kept waiting, but finally decided to go anyway. It is just now raining.

We don't have any dinner plans tonight, but tomorrow night, we're fixing chicken salad. We cooked chicken breasts and decided to make a big salad tomorrow night. We're putting "the works" in it.

Hope everybody is well. Waving to all.
