Hello, Monday! I wonder what this week is going to bring. All good things. (only good things:prettyplease: )
My morning coffee isn't off to the best of starts. *peers into my coffee mug with a disappointed face* I ran vinegar through the machine yesterday and forgot to finish with water. Now the half and half is slightly curdling and the taste is off. :/ I'm muddling through it but only because I don't like to waste anything. Gary is going to dump it and make a fresh pot, no doubt...

The weather forecasts have been all sorts of off the past few days. It was supposed to rain all weekend, and we did have a few T-storms late afternoons and evenings but not all day. It looked like it was *thisclose* to downpouring most of the morning so I tidied inside, the usual stuff. :vacuuming: Around lunchtime, I ended up weeding parts of the side yard, it was getting very overgrown. All of the garden spots are looking overgrown. I'm such a sucker, I have a hard time chopping down or ripping out plants so I dig them up and move them around. I am running out of space LOL! TJ has been out a few times this weekend and the teeny tiny toads are hopping all over. They are so dang cute. I just googled them, they are called toadlets, totally adorable. I heard Caitlyn laughing at me as I was talking to them since the one garden area is right under the LR window and they were hopping like mad among the plants.

As of this moment, the skies are blue and the rain is not coming until this afternoon (Supposedly. We'll see). If I am going to do any yard work, I should head out early. It poured overnight so I doubt Gary will want to hike today.
I should also get the rest of the stuff boxed up for the donation pick-up later this week.
So many things I need to do-- nothing that I *want* to do. You feel me? :nod1:

Here's to a fantastic day!

@vickyday Oh, believe me, Gary and I are so glad that it was "only" diverticulosis. He was envisioning a cancer diagnosis so this was a huge relief.
Congrats on the new freezer. Have a safe and delightful trip!

@bcgal00 Remi the Pouty Princess! :rotfl: That sounds right from what you tell us about her. Give all three pups some pets and treats from me. I bet you are sooo happy to have the pool to relax in. I can't remember if the dogs go in the pool or not.

@BrightEyes I love it-- It sounds like you are starting to feel much more like yourself. That's fantastic. Good luck at the Drs today

@Nonni F Yup, I'd take "moderate" knees over severe too and I am really glad that the injections helped. I know they can be hit or miss.

@pachimac Hi Susie! It's great to have you pop in whenever you have time ♥ Your Bitmoji is so cute too! I should make them into a parade.

Good luck to your DD! I am a *huge* proponent of community college - for the cost as well as the opportunity to figure out what the next steps are. Caitlyn sometimes struggles with her job as an Academic Advisor for a 4-year college. She is supposed to keep the kids enrolled at the school but sometimes she knows it's not the right path for them. She tries to suggest community college as an option in a roundabout way. I hope she finishes up that research paper quickly.
BTW:
I also feel like my life is so predictable that it can't be very interesting to anyone else! LOL
Same!!! Unfortunately, it doesn't stop me from blabbering on every day :lol23:

@Cherylndesigns Adrienne's house must be The Place to Be! What a great set up- I love that you can go up there and hang out and swim, come home and wash up, go back and eat- and then come back home and head to bed (well, that would be me).
Kinleigh sounds like she is having so much fun!

Hugs!

Hope Gary is feeling better today.
We used to call the tiny toads/frogs, "spring peepers." So cute!

Good morning,
Mark and I went to sleep last night listening to a thunderstorm....and Asher walking around nervously, poor guy.

We can't plug in the new freezer yet until Mark changes out the old receptacle from 2-prong to 3-prong. Never gave that a thought when we bought it. Otherwise he would have already had it changed out. No problem! It's not like I need the freezer up and going because I have thawing stuff waiting. It will probably take a couple of months to fill it, at best, anyway.

Our mountain destination is only 2 hours away and check-in isn't until 4, so we won't leave until early afternoon, probably. I'm going to start packing after I finish this.

Have a great week!

Good morning ladies. I was out last night, taking Jen to the hospital to have her knee looked at, as it is not getting much better. Then had to go pick her up 5 hrs later. They gave her a referral to physio and will refer her to the knee clinic. I feel so bad for her, she is so frustrated with the pain, the inconvenience of not being able to walk more than a few steps and not being able to drive. I

No plans for today other than groceries later and then come home to jump in the pool.

@faerywings Toadlets, awww! How fun to see them in the yard. No, the dogs don't go in the pool, it is too high for them to climb the stairs to get in and out. Remi sure would like to though :)

@vickyday Enjoy the holiday!

I'm getting more coffee and getting out in the yard with Remi. HAGD everyone.

Happy Monday everybody. I'm SO confuzzled about the days again - some people are working and some aren't and tomorrow is the 4th. I really struggled with it yesterday - couldn't get it through my head that it was SUNDAY. Casey and I had this big discussion about her cleaning schedule this week and it got hilarious because she was as confused as I was. We finally settled on Thursday. She was coming today, but forgot she had semi-plans because it was the holiday weekend and of course, I didn't even know what day it was. :floorlaugh:

Chris @faerywings how is Gary feeling today? Will he have to alter his diet at all? I know he doesn't eat very much anyway.

Yes, Adrienne's house is the party house. That's what they wanted when they built that huge house then add the pool, hot tub and all the cool decking - Voila! Roger wanted the whole family to be able to gather there and we do. LOL I feel sorry for Kinleigh's mom, when she gets home. She has gotten constant attention here what with ALL the family - the kids carry her around and play with her all the time. It's going to be a rude awakening when she doesn't get this constant attention. Even Braden is "smitten" with her and he says he doesn't like kids. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Here's my parade of 4th of July Bitmojis:

Hugs to everybody and have a good MONDAY - I have to keep typing that to keep it straight. XOXO
