Good morning everyone. How was your weekend? I am so glad that we have one more day here. I can't wait fro our friend Pete to come over soon. We only get to see him once a year, if we are lucky. he is now stationed way up in Upstate NY, but I'll take that over Afghanistan/Iraq any day.

I have to clean up the house a bit before they get here but I am distracting myself trying to take pics of my cat yawning. yeah..... its not happening.....

Do my USA friends have fun plans today? BBQ? Fireworks? Parades?
If ya do, I am hoping to see LO's inthe gallery.

me Me Monday- I have got to fix the polish on my toes before anyone sees how yucky they look. LOL
 
Morning Chris- my plans for the day- clean up- the mess from painting,put the bedroom back in order, weed and water plants outside,pick peas, have mr gorgeous grill steaks , scrap and watch fireworks on tv- no bugs, no crowds!

Tell me, if the 4th falls mid week, do you get the actual 4th as a holiday or is the day off moved to a Monday or Friday?
 
Good morning ladies!

Selena, the 4th is one of those holidays that we celebrate on the actual day. So we love it when it falls on Friday through Monday because that gets us a 3 day weekend!

We are going to the parade shortly. Taking my new lens! WooHoo! And then I'll be back in later. (No Fed Ex deliveries planned today so I think it should be uneventful!)
 
Found out this morning my MIL passed, so not sure what the next week will bring- today will now be busy with house clean up prep for pet sitter.
 
Happy 4th of July :americanflag my American friends!!! Hope you all get to enjoy the day off!! I am back to work today, but just a short day. A sunny day today so I really hope my MG and I get to go out for a walk today!!

Laurie - I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your MIL!! :hugs: to your MG and you!

well, enough puttering- did get my avi & siggy updated- now to get my bed back together- took it apart with the painting!
