*grumbles* Monday. It is Monday. I had a terrible time sleeping last night and at one point, I swore that it was Tuesday. I think I had woken up so many times that I figured I had bumped right over to the next day. heh.
Of course, that means I am somewhat nauseous from lack of sleep and too much coffee will make that worse.

How was everyone's weekend? Yesterday was a beautiful day to be outside. I moved some pachysandra around and dug up tons of dandelions along the side of my house. I had planned on cleaning the bathrooms but wanted to be outside instead. The bathrooms can wait. :D
My kids have been bickering a lot this past week or so. I think that they are both stressed over different things and are taking it out on each other. Somehow I am in the middle and it makes me stressed too.

I am going to the lake this afternoon with BFFATS and then Cait and I have the walk and outdoor yoga session tonight. I have to clean out my refrigerator and then figure out what meals I am cooking this week. Who has ideas to share for that?

wishing everyone a calm and happy day!

Nancy- that is too funny about your boys having no time mgt skills. My brother is a time micromanager and his wife just goes with the flow and I think that frustrates both of them very much.
You should be very proud of the job you have done-- your boys sound amazing!

Rae- happy birthday to Jen! Sounds like you understand how B copes with things very well and are doing a great job with it when she gets triggered.

100*! Oh my goodness, those must be horrible temps for you, very unusual?
Were you able to get your eyes examined?

Bet Taz thought it was neat having you swim with him. :pupkiss:

good morning - yesterday was a fun day. The boys finally got to the festival which was held at the Knights of Columbus and it was filled with food. The boys finally figured out I was not coming as they took both cars. They are too funny. My son came back and got me. We ate and talked and I watched the boys work which is very happy for a mom. My DH was the gofer LOL. And the food really really was great. They had brisket, turkey and pulled pork with sides baked beans, cole slaw, and corn on the cob. It was so much! My youngest and I left at 3:30 and my DH did not get home until 8:30pm after cleaning up and dividing up the left overs. We have so much food! It was pretty cool because my DH was given a gift certificate to a restaurant in a near by town as thanks for all his help. I am glad he likes cooking. Well the Tour de France is over and there is a new winner Geraint Thomas but team Sky was still the team. He was so happy to win and it was so refreshing to see that. But now a long wait for sports to be back in the mornings LOL. So I should get a lot of scrapping done.

Chris so glad you had fun outside. I was outside and it was awesome! I am surprised you could not sleep as I have been sleeping well especially after being outdoors. I hope those kids get their acts together. I wonder if they are nervous for school starting even though it is a month away. I remember the nearer it got to Aug the more I thought about school starting and summer being over with. Hope the weekend in the country was fun for your parents.

Rae tell Jen happy birthday. I am not surprised that you are good at redirecting Bailey. Sometimes mom are just to close and the grandmother has a more objective view. Jen has to be so lucky to have you. Wow those are warm temps for your area! Saw on Facebook the story of the bear! WOW! Glad he did not mess up your fence.

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. I'm heading out for a quick trip to VV before starting work. I have 5 small bags of clothes for them. I can't wear a lot of the medium sized stuff so will pass it on to VV. I'll get him a carrot cake or cheese cake later for his birthday today and get him a steak for dinner. I felt bad that I forgot to wish him a happy birthday this morning before he left for work but I was so tired since I was awake most of the night, thanks to the bear constantly bashing our garbage can around all night, crashing thru the fence (luckily on the other side of the neighbors fence) and banging up against the side of our house. He was a huge black bear. I was laughing at D as he stood in the doorway in his underwear, yelling at the bear to go away and making noises to try to scare him...nope, didn't work :) He came back about 5 times, he was persistent. He wasn't able to break off the metal bear lock but he was able to bend/warp the lid around the lock so he could get garbage out by turning it upside down and reaching in to pull stuff out. Smart bear. So hopefully the city will be able to give us another garbage can as ours is now all warped.

Yesterday I wasn't able to get my eyes examined but tried on lots of glasses, got some info about the different lenses and now will price check at a few other places over the next couple of weeks and book an appt with an optometrist. Today we will stay home, I'll work, get my 52 inspirations challenge done and get some chores done around the house. I'll take Taz for a swim at lunch time.

Chris - sounds like a great day with a walk and a yoga session. I'm sure sibling bickering is stressful for you, being in the middle, but they always work it out don't they? You have wonderful kids.

Nancy - sounds like a great family time with lots of good food. Enjoy getting lots of scrapping done now. I sure hope I get to work it into my schedule again sometime soon, I do miss it but am too tired or busy to do anything about it. I have to satisfy myself by looking at everyone else's gorgeous pages.

I hope everyone has a great day. I'd better get my morning going now.

Good morning girls,
I'm back. I know what you mean now, that I'm pathetic, because I quit even my decision to quit this place. And you are right. But I thought much. I still have few friends which are designers in other places where I can go. But do I want to introduce myself to a new place full with strangers?! Not really. It's hard to feels unwelcome and to realize that others looks on you like a visitor who collect points, when you always are misleading yourself that you had become a member of the community. But hey, Nancy told me something very wisely (as usual): I have to stay and change the way that others looks on me here, instead to start from zero otherwhere. This was my years to complete all challenges, but now will made it my half year without challenges. As it sings in one of mine favorite songs: "The middle of adventure is such a good place to start".
And no matters what others Cherry Os thinks about me, you girls knows that I'm here to see these Paris photos ;) and other stuff from this kind, more than everything else.

Chris, sorry for your bad sleep! When that happens to me I prefer to go out of the bed and do something. Hope you had lovely time on the lake! Did you take some photos?

Nancy, this festival sounds so much fun! Your family really knows how to have the best time together!

Rae, happy belated birthday to Jen and and to your husband! Wish them one really good year, whit much laugh and less stressful!
I continue to surprise how in Canada people just lived with the wild and I'm so jealous about the bear, I want one! But here they will just kill it, if he cross the city border, it's so heartless and unfair!!! Also they told me that at the near forest have few foxes with cubs, but the homeless dogs don't allows them to cross the fields and comes to eat at the city as I have seen in some villages.
Don't forget to show us your new glasses!

Kisses to Trudy. And Jean where are you, girl?!

Let's just finished this month positive and see what will can do better in next! :cofbath:
