Daily Ooos: Monday, July 11

What a perfect weather day we had yesterday. Sunny, not humid, and not really hot. I think we got into the low-80s by the end of the day. We didn't even need to put the AC on. It was pretty quiet here, Caitlyn and Tom had a b-day party to go to, Scott was working, Gary and I took the dogs for a walk and we were very proud of Jaida. She actually walked without Gary "jumpstarting" her. She will get very excited when she sees her leash and walks perfectly until we two mailboxes down the street. Then she digs in and refuses to move. Gary will "jumpstart" her by picking her up, carrying her down to the next mailbox and then she is good to go the rest of the way on her own. Occasionally, she will need another short jumpstart but yesterday she did great! We got back to the house and W wanted to keep going so we tried to get J to go past the driveway. No luck there, not at all.
Maybe next time.

Gary and I got maybe another 10-15 pieces of the puzzle together. At the rate we are going 10-15 a day, we might be done by October bwahaha!

No big plans today, still working my way down the To-Do list.

@BrightEyes I can only imagine how tired you were running back and forth to the computer and then housework. But it sounds like you are getting a lot accomplished in both areas.
I hope that you enjoyed looking at and printing the LOs that needed to be done. Happy birthday to Bill and big hugs to you xo

@taxed4ever Did your Gary finish the sprinkler project? Hope so! And what is the countdown for going to see DS? It seems (to me at least) that it is going to come up quickly

Thx for the info on Wolfe, I am going to see if it is streaming anywhere here. The 4th season of Unforgotten in available on Prime finally and we also started to watch The Terminal List also on Prime if you are looking for anything else to watch

@BrightEyes I hate when that happens in the middle of printing something and it seems like it takes forever to get the nozzles and whatnot all cleaned and working correctly. Hope that the knees and back are doing much better after a good night's sleep.

@tanteva I am totally *not* going to play that video because if it's the same song that my kids used to run around signing when they were tweens (I think) it is pretty darn annoying! LOL! Kids *and* song were annoying

Morning, gals. It is going to be hot day... was already into the 70's when I got up at 7:30. Only had the house open to get some fresh air for about an hour then had to close it up. Will up into the mid/high 90's today like it was yesterday. The A/C was still running at 9PM when I fell asleep. Since I keep it set at 80* F it means it was staying hot late in the evenings. They are predicting the monsoon rains will be back tomorrow and for much of the week. I have the Red Hat luncheon tomorrow to go to so hope it is raining hard when I am going and coming home. Hoping to get a couple of errands run, too.

I did get the pages into Bill's Memory Album2 yesterday and called it quits as soon as I finished that. My sister called me and we talked for almost an hour. Her son Pat and my hubby shared the same birthday. He died 2 weeks after my hubby. So it was good for both of us to spend some time talking to each other yesterday on their shared birthday. Ended up watching the Pearl Harbor DVD while sitting in the recliner with my leg up. Had left-overs Pork chop and cubed potatoes from Sat evening for supper so no standing and cooking. I plan on doing more clean-up and deleting files from the computer today... but NO other cleaning jobs while I do that. Need to give the knee a rest today. I will have a book to read while the copying is being done.

The coffee cup is empty so will get a refill and then get to work. Hope this is a good week for everyone.

Good morning all.

I'm up early - been up for about an hour. I slept good, so I got plenty of sleep. Chris @faerywings I knew you'd love that picture of the girls. Ava has them pretty much under control most of the time. You know how crazy Labs are, but when she tells them to do something, they do it. They all came over for dinner (they brought dinner to us) and Braden is still on Cloud 9. He has more hours to go yet, but he's on his way. Did you get a chance to look at the videos and pictures on FB?

That's so funny about Jaida and the mailboxes. They do the strangest things, don't they? Daisy would never walk over the grates in the streets in Florida - they had one every so often to control the downpours there and she refused to walk across them - she always went "out and around". We tried everything and she would not do it.

Kay @BrightEyes I'll have to go look at Bill's memory pages - are they on FB? I've been busy with other things and haven't been pursuing FB as much as usual.

I'm going to go grab a cuppa and have my morning chat with Chuck - sounds like the name of a podcast, doesn't it? Have a good Monday.

Happy Monday everyone! It is a gorgeous sunny morning here! Finally we are in for what looks like a whole week of beautiful summer weather! It's about darn time I'd say! Glad to have my DH back at work today, although we did have a good time working together, he sure keeps me away from the computer all day LOL. I can hardly believe that it is almost the middle of July and soon I will have to start thinking about what we will be taking with us to Ottawa. Only 18 more sleeps I am getting excited! Hunter had a great 5th Birthday and got very spoiled! A house full of 5yrs old and there was a lot to clean up afterward! I am late finishing this off as Mason and Hunter called and I have been talking with them for the past 45 mins. I have a lady coming soon to pick up an item that I sold to her on Facebook Marketplace. Then my brother called and said that he is coming for a visit soon. Yikes I am not even showered or dressed so will have to get going. I hope to catch up with you all later, but we will see how the rest of the day goes #crazy So much for having a quiet Monday morning LOL. I hope you are all enjoying a sunny day!

Kay @BrightEyes I'll have to go look at Bill's memory pages - are they on FB? I've been busy with other things and haven't been pursuing FB as much as usual.

Cheryl, the page I made for his birthday is on my Facebook page - July 10th. Most of the others are pages I have made since Jan 5 that either have his photo or both of us on them for either challenges or to show off a kit/collection. Most of those are on my FB page on the dates I posted them.

Worked ALL day on copying retired stuff onto DVDs... still have a ton of stuff yet to do. But I did clear another 36 GB off the computer today! I am pooped so quitting. Won't get work on it tomorrow due to Red Hat luncheon. Going to try to spend Wed through the weekend of clearing stuff... no scrapping until I get most of this done!!!
