Daily Ooo's: Monday July 11

happy Monday!!! I had such a nice weekend. Alone! hahahha! Seriously, it was so good to have some time alone, I never, ever get that. No, food shopping does NOT count! And the time I did spend with the family was very low key and relaxed.
Boy, i needed that!

I am off to get to the supermarket and then to the lake, we are supposed to get near 90* so there is no where else I would rather be.

MOrning all - back to work and routine for me- for now anyways. I plan to remind myself one half hour at a time, otherwise the backlog will truly overwhelm me. I forgot to ask for prayers for my friend/co-worker, who birthed her baby boy on the 2nd, knowing he had already passed on the previous wednesday. She was able to have a professional photographer come to the hospital and take photos (nowilaymedowntosleep.org) but with all that went on with my MIL passing, I have not had a chance to talk to her or see her. This is her second pregnancy that did not result in a baby to bring home.

LindaS- praying for you and your family.

On the loving myself front- I walked 2 miles on the treadmill this am- not a choice, almost had to lay on the bed to get my work pants zipped today- YIKES!!!

Morning everyone! A cloudy cool morning for us here. Off to work this morning and then tomorrow off. Hope to just enjoy the day and do whatever I want. (It will most likely be housework of course ugh) Had a nice weekend and spent yesterday with SIL and her hubby who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. He had his first round of chemo and lost all of his hair, he looks good and says he feels good but does not like not having hair.

Laurie - Prayers for your poor friend, how sad that she does not seem to be able to have a healthy pregnancy!! My heart breaks for her!! Good for you for walking on the treadmill again, I know the feeling of quick weight gain, it sure doesn't take long to put a few pounds on, but so very hard to take them off again!!

Chris - How wonderful that you had a ME day!! Enjoy the beach again today! Lucky you!! You must be getting a great tan out of all this beach time!

Morning everyone! Another crazy hot day again here in Central TX, so I'll be spending the day inside and hopefully get some laundry and cleaning done. Sometimes I wonder why I bother cleaning, because it seems as soon as I get one room clean and move on to the next, by the time I finish the second the kids have already destroyed the first! Cleaning your house with kids at home truly is like shoveling snow while it's still snowing! UGH!

Laurie I will most definitely say a prayer for your friend. That company that took the pictures is a great one, and I'm glad that she was able to use them.
