Happy Monday and good morning to you all!
My mom's party was a success, she was very happy and she and my dad didn't bicker at all. (That was a gift to me LOL)
Scott was able to take his "lunch" with us. He was based in Wayne and needed a reason to come up-county. He is writing a workshop for the Spring and figured he needed to "GPS the trails." He was able to see mom and get out for a hike. That makes him much happier than sitting at a desk all day. I'd feel the same too. Well. Maybe not, considering it was pretty darn cold yesterday. *winks*
I am still flipping between scarf patterns and wish I knew what I was doing. hah. The first pattern that I doing is giving me fits. I grabbed a big hook and solid acrylic yarn and went through it again, carefully step by step and I am still getting that curve along the top. So either that is correct or I am just stupid when it comes to reading patterns. I ripped out what I had down with Pattern #2, grabbed a bigger hook, like Eva suggested, and got about 10 rows done. It does look much better and it is super easy. But it's not what I imagined - so I keep looking at the first pattern, then the second. Making myself #crazy
I am going to take a break for that today and clean out the fridge, work on the food shopping, and catch up on some laundry instead.
Maybe some scrapping would be nice too.
Have a wonderful day!
