yes, I am trying my hardest to make it a great start to the day and to the week. I have to be grateful we didn't get snow this weekend. I have to be grateful that it is a new week!

So the weirdest thing happened last night. I was woken up by some noise- it sounded like someone crying out, several times. Then I heard a thump- as I was getting myself out of bed to check on the kids, I see alight goon upstairs. Then off- I go up, Cait is fast asleep, then Scott pops out of his room. I ask him if he heard any crying- no- he didn't hear that, but he heard footsteps coming up the stairs, that was why he turned the light on. OK, we figure it was the cats making noise. (Except 2 of the 3 cats were
asleep in my room, on my bed, and one on my back LOL)
I go back, fall asleep, and then I wake up- I could swear I heard footsteps in my bedroom- I think that maybe one of the kids came down, look around- no one is there. It really felt like someone was in my room.

How weird is that?

Sally and Cora- we thought of you during the game last night. Did you all enjoy it even with the outcome? Bet you did.
It was one of the best Super Bowl's I have seen in a long time. Lots of good plays. I didn't have a team, but saw how gutsy the Saints played. Really glad they won. (sorry girls!)

Are all of my snowed-in O-Fam dug out yet?

And I know that feeling of not wanting to take any chnaces- I was just starting to feel better with my pinched nerve and I had to drop Cait off at a friend's house. The drive way was a sheet of ice, and I told her to tell the mom that I wasn't being rude, but I didn't want to slip and fall, and then I would have to sue her. The mom said that i could sue her, then we could spilt the money and go on vacation- could have been a good plan haha!

AndreaNyx- were you able to get the PSE and text worked out?

Laurie- as bad/stupid as that tractor trailer incident was, it must have been interesting to watch!

Linda W- I still think you should come up to NJ LOL

Me Me Monday- I am going to make sure that I take an hour to myself today- and read through/catch up on Ashalee's Fulfilled Soul- I really need it!!
 
nope... I ended up saving it and bringing it into the Creative Memories software to put the text in :( I'll work on it some more. I'm sure I've done text boxes before tho... who knows.

anyway... I had to take the kitty to the emerg vet late last night.

so Nyx ate my Zoloft pill. I didn't see her do it, but one minute the pill was there, when I came back in the bathroom, she was sniffing where the pill was and the pill was NO where to be found. She's only 7 pounds...

So I called the 24 vet and they said bring her in. And since I didn't see her do it, we weren't 100% SHE did it so we had to bring both kitties in.

They tried to make them barf, Erebos DID barf thank goodness, but Nyx of course was being stubborn & wouldn't barf so I had to leave her to get sedated & have a 'lavage'. Called this morning and she's doing just fine but man... crazy. Stupid cat. Apparently cats seem to be attracted to anti-anxiety meds and they see them at least once/month with overdoses. Although she said it's usually more like the whole container... so I guess I was 'lucky' Nyx only had 1.

$1000 later.... eesh... we can't afford this. we were saving for a new washer that we desperately need...

Oh well. We could have just kept them at home to 'see' but they've got a lot of years left and I couldn't imagine not having them around (especially because of something *I* carelessly did).
 
Good morning ladies!!!!!! I don't have a lot of time...I spent most of it getting the new spotlight up!! I have babies needing me!!

I was not too interested...since we had no plans this year. We went out to eat with my parents and then I had some paperwork to do.

Enjoying our break in the snowfall...we are on day two of no snow...but tomorrow night, that will end...uughh!!

But today it has gotten COLD COLD COLD...it's about 18 degrees!!! Brrrrrrrr!

Andrea...I am sorry your kitties were being so bad, and now has cost you a fortune!!! (((HUGS)) This is why we don't have animals!!

Chris...Okay...who is spooking your house??? That is so totally weird!! If you get too spooked come stay with me:D
 
AndreaNyx- Oh no! I would have done the same thing too- taken them in instead of waited. Why is it always on the weekends when it is most expensive?

If it is any consolation, years ago, my dog ate a handful of kids vitamins w/ flouride. Vet said that she would be fine- but I was freaking out b/c we were leaving for vacation that night!

Linda W- we actually have had "ghostly" things happen in the house before. They had stopped, but that is exactly what Gary said- maybe our ghost is back :cool:
 
as if last night wasn't enough... I got a call saying my interac card was "flagged at being used in a place that has complaints of card reproduction & use" so I had to cancel that AND my mastercard since I had to use my mastercard to get the account at the movie rental place.

I should have just followed my instincts when I saw the 'for lease' sign in the window... KWIM?!
 
Morning girlies!! Well, I just declared today a school holiday so I can get myself together...BIG TIME!! LOL!!! we all have superbowl hangovers anyway...(just party hangovers, not alcohol ones, although there was beer, chocolate daquaris (however you spell that!) and other various things to drink!! LOL!! This is more of a "I ate all of the sweet stuff people put out" type hangover!!! And I'm on a weight-loss thingy with Mr Gorgeous, so I guess I need to get it together with that!! LOL!!!

So I'm soooo thrilled about the {52} inspirations this week....it's what I've been gearing up for. So I'm hoping to have 5 kits for sale on my Blog until I'm approved here!! :) (send vicki emails begging for me here in the store!!!! teehee!! jk!!!) And be sure and stay tuned this Thursday for a release of FUN proportions!! I'm excited. I love the O...can you tell???

now you guys know why i needed a day off??? LOL!!!!
