Daily Ooo's: Monday, February 7

Good morning and Happy Monday! I am really glad that i didn't schedule anything big for today. i think I ate and drank a bit more than I am used too and I am feeling a bit groggy ATM. I also stayed up way past my bedtime. i made it til 11 pm, can you believe it!?

As a result, I am running pretty slowly this morning, so i am late, and will be back for personals in a bit.

Back from the bus stop and am getting another cup of coffee in me. I am soooooo tired! i am thinking about going back to bed. I never do that on a school day LOL

I think that I am going to take it slow this morning. Clean up from yesterday a bit and then just take it easy and scrap. Do you think I am capable of giving myself permission to do that?

Clara- That is great news about Ethan and the meds. I bet it is going to make a huge difference for him. I am really really happy for him.

the game was good, wasn't it? I don't watch much of the regular season, don't have the time or inclination to sit in front of the TV from 1pm to 7pm. But I do like the Playoffs/S Bowl.
Coming from a self-proclaimed "Metal head" the 2 low points for me were the half-time show with Slash. Fergie is.... Fergie.... so I didn't expect much. But to see Slash next to her as she killed Sweet Child of Mine... eeep! Then the Ozzy/Justin Beiber Commercial. Ozzy needs to be put in a retirement home. Quickly.

Meg- what is the Puppy Bowl? Sounds cute no matter what
I am very glad that you are doing better, even a bit, but today is Monday and you promised us to see the dr if you weren't better. Please consider that.

Laurie- good luck with your knee. Is this a regular issue? Does wrapping it help?

trudy- good luck at the dentist- is this going to be another 2 hour trip for a 10 min appt?
Hope you can visit with your sis soon. My BFF and Ih ave been trying to meet for coffee for ages and the weather and our crazy schedules are not working with us.

Morning all - 25 min till out the door- exercise is done, the knee sleeve seems to be helping- yes Chris- it has become more regular- not sure if I have a slight tear in something that "catches" when I move my knee or not- but don't really want to have a knee scope right now- just not on my most wanted list- esp with my high deductible. Can you believe I feel asleep during the last minutes of the superbowl- umm 2 glasses of sangria must be my limit. Well hope everyone has a great monday!!

Good Monday Morning everyone! Slept in a bit this morning and so did my hubby, he has been up every morning for the last 2weeks at 5:30am and he actually slept until 7:30 this morning. Dinner at the in-laws was great, but we received a sad phone call that Gary's Aunt Lorna is very sick in the hospital and they have discovered cancer in her lungs. She has been battling cancer for the past six years and it finally has taken its toll. She will be going into Palliative care soon. She is 73 yrs old and has always been such a fun person, this is very sad news for everyone in the family!!
Gary's mom and dad are headed over to Vancouver this morning to have a visit with her. We are on our way to the dentist to have my splint adjusted, but hope to get to see her soon.

Chris - yes this is another 2hr. drive for a 10min appt. but oh well what can I do?? At least it is a beautiful drive as it takes us along the ocean side and lots of spectacular scenery. Hope you get to crawl back into bed for a bit, then lots of time to scrap. I hope to get lots done in the next couple of days, also have to catch up on leaving some love in the gallery!

Laurie - I hope your knee feels better! I sometimes have trouble with mine also, mostly when I do something like a lunge or turn it the wrong way when I am hiking. Then "OUCH" . Hope it does not turn into something serious!!


Well must hit the shower and get ready for the big drive up Island. Have a great Monday everyone! :wave:

Morning ladies <3 Woke up this morning to snow!! That dumb storm finally hit us. We only got about an inch though and it's already starting to melt off. But of course they called it a snow day so my little brother is off hanging out with girls or something. I've spent my awesome morning holding my baby girl, drinking coffee and watching Twilight Mario is catching up on some much needed rest. Baby woke up at 3 and wouldn't go into a good deep sleep until about 9. And of course he let me sleep the whole time! =]

Chris - The best part about SB Sunday is eating all that food! It's like a holiday around here lol I vote you give permission to yourself to be a lazy bum for once!!

Clara - That's so awesome that the medicine is working!!

Trudy - Yay for sleeping in! I can't wait til I get to do that again =]



Time for mama to catch up on some scrapbooking!
