The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Happy Monday! I am sorry that I can't be more Sallyish (Sallylike?) but dang I am still so tired. Maybe after some more coffee I'll perk up some more. My kids didn't want to get up either.

My big plan for today is to go food shopping- ugh! I haven't gone in two weeks, and I need so much more food. I have got to start cooking my healthful too. Caitlyn is now officially anemic and low in calcium which is only going to add to her struggle get healthier. He only fav foods are crabs, which the Lyme bacteria love as a fuel for them.
It makes it so hard, since everyone hates so many foods. Or I should say opposite food, ie: if Cait likes it, Scott hates it and vice versa. Gary likes just about everything, but ya just never know when or if he will be able to eat. And I hate having to cook at this point. I used to love cooking. Now, I hate it, the prep, the clean up..... Gary and Caitlyn have both offered to cook meals for me, but that also requires planning in advance, a skill I am losing very quickly.

Oh yeah. I am totally not Sallyish today. Sally darlin', if you pop into this thread today, please don't smack me!! LOL

Me Me Monday-- I guess reading a book while I am in the waiting room at Cait's dentist will have to count.

Hope you all have a great day. Please don't let my crankiness rub off on you!!

From yesterday:

Trudy-- the photography exhibit sounds wonderful!! Did it get you inspired to grab your camera?

Phyllis--I think I got all of my Ocsraps stuff that was tagged already fixed up. The non-Oscraps stuff is just going to have to wait. I actually have a pretty good folder tree system, but it is my OCD0ness that makes me want to have everything tagged. SMH, yup, I am :loco:

Maureen-- take some deep breaths of that ocean air and think of me!!! It is getting to that time of year when I actually *crave* sea and sun and sand. If I had a gazillion dollars, I swear I would buy a little private beach in the Caribbean and go there for long weekends all winter.

Laurie-- sounds like a fun night! We used to (before kids!) host these Murder Mystery Parties-- it all came in a box, characters, dinner/food ideas. It was for 4 couples and one of the characters was the murderer. That persona didn't even know until one of the last rounds of the game. We always had a blast doing it.

Hope that everyone had a great time over the weekend.

Oh, I never mentioned how cute my baby is!! He was blowing me kisses-- talk about melting my heart!!!!! I took a ton of pics, just have to get them off my camera and smile for a while. Maybe *that* should be my Me Me Monday!!

Chris - I know all about trying to juggle the food issuses - and I have only one kid. (two counting DH :D)

Today feels like "the last day of freedom". I'm working Tuesday - Sunday this week. I know - most people work every week, I shouldn't make such a big deal of it. But I swear - now that I'm not used to go to work, one workday seems too much LOL But I won't complain when the extra cash shows up. Especially since we are actually planning to get a car! We've decided it's time to be real grown ups. We bought a house - now we gonna buy a car - scary, huh? ;) We'll see - nothing definetely decided yet.

Me Me Me ... I think I'm gonna do some genealogy today ... if I get the time. I need to finish some CT stuff first. And check my Neopets :D

me me Monday...gonna get my HAIR CUT, at last. this "doo" i've been sporting for a few months is inexcuseable. it will be a pleasure to get the hair out of my eyes at last. dunno what i was waiting for. and i think i still have the urinary infection. just waiting for a call from the DR. to confirm. drat.

Chris. does anemic mean she needs more meat? it's so hard getting kids to eat right. if you can get one TUMS into her per day, that might take care of the calcium. my diet is a mess, and i just look for some chewable, not too disgusting vitamins to supplement. Viactiv chewable caramel multivits keep me going. would she eat string sheese? honestly, that stuff is my main source of calcium and is fun to eat. you can play with your food!

Eva, genealogy is such fun! i'm pretty much done with as much of my family and my husband's family as i could manage. wish i were starting again! it was great fun.

more room painting today. erg....:mmph:

Good Morning Ladies and Happy Monday!! had a a wonderful day yesterday! The drive to Victoria was beautiful and the exhibit at the Museum was awe inspiring !! :jaw: If I could only be half the photographer :photo: that those people are I would be happy!! Truly a interesting exhibit that told you how they got the shots and what camera they used and the settings they used, and how some of them sat for hours, while others took one quick picture and just lucked out. Most of the shots were taken with the same kind of camera I have a Cannon EQS. Now I just need the $1000.00 lenses that they have. (Not likely to happen!!) After the 2 1/2 visit to the the Museum we headed to the Keg for supper. Very romantic with a beautiful view of the Victoria Harbour and lovely sunset. Great prime rib dinner with wine and dessert was on the house for our anniversary. How nice!! Back to reality today :mmph: full day of work, but off tomorrow.

Chris - I know that food shopping is not the most exciting thing to do! Jamie Oliver got me excited about cooking again, love his style and he really knows how to eat healthy!! I even have his app on my IPhone. You should check him out, I think there are probably lots of videos on UTube about him.

Eva - How have you managed all these years without a vehicle?? You must have a wonderful transportation system there? Yes its time to be grown up and get a car :pound:

Phylis - Glad that you are getting a chance to get your hair done! Sorry about your UTI!! Those are nasty! Have you tried drinking lots and lots of cranberry juice? Not the stuff with the sugar, but the real cranberry juice? It really does help lots or you can get cranberry pills at Costco, my daughter uses those and they have really helped her!!

Kristy - Horray everyone is feeling better!! Hope your throat thing clears up soon too! Your new Wii game sounds fun, I might have to look up that one!

Have a great day everyone!!

I don't even have a driver's licence :D

Well, I moved to another town when I was 16, and by the time I was 18 (legal age for getting a licence in Sweden), I was living in a city. You could go by bus anywhere. Then, 8 years ago, when we moved back here to "the woods" we were so used to not having a car. Also, we lived in the middle of the city, 5 minutes walk to the store - no need for a car. We still live rather close to the stores, like 15 minutes walk to the store, so I guess we could live without a car, but really - I think it's time. I'm not getting younger, and neither is DH. I'll soon be 45 ... I think I'll pass as an adult soon ;)
