The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
and we are back to Monday again. How do they get here so quickly? I know one member of our O-Fam who is excited for this week to begin.
Linda S, are you counting the hours yet? I know I would be!!

Not much to say this morning, just tired and feeling boring. I have to go food shopping and then I have to read my camera Manual. yup, you read that right. I saw a link to a 31 days to better photos blog post here
31 Days to a Better Photo | The Complete Index

I am on Day 2. Reading my manual. I wish there was some way to read it and make it sink in for good. I know, I know. I need to just not use the Auto Settings and just shoot. I guess I am lazy in that way.

I actually blogged about this yesterday and I am hoping to keep up with it every day. You can read my first post here if you like:Musings

me me monday:
Maybe I will bundle up and take the camera for a walk this afternoon.

Counting the hours...why, as a matter of fact, yes! In 96 hours and 10 minutes we should be boarding. ;-). Of course, that means I have a lot to get done before then.:cool2:

No school for the kids today. Brian is taking them to the IMAX at the science center. That should get them good and rev'd up for the vacation. I have work:( but I am sure everything will get done. If not, we will just take what is on our backs.

It is the first time that the dog has ever been kenneled. Usually she would stay with my folks but Dad has a dog and I don't think that he could do it. If it were a couple of days, I would leave her here and my s-i-l could get here several times a day to let her out and play with her but not for this long. So I am having mommy angst. Although, I probably shouldn't. We have her staying at one of those doggy resorts. They play with her and spoil her.

Ok...off to the shower. Have a good day all.

Chris, please join with me in being a lazy photographer. we should be allowed THAT, at least, in our busy world. long live "Auto" as far as i'm concerned!

i went to bed at 7 p.m. last night, read a bit, fell asleep, awoke at 10 p.m., had a drink of water, went back to bed and got up at 5:30 a.m. i think i'm "caught up!" hopefully i can face Monday with a lot of vim and vigor. well, maybe not "vim and vigor," but at least i won't be yawning all day and sleepwalking through the day.

just wanted to tell you guys that i may be invisible (page-wise) for quite some time. i am moving to an administrative role in Anna aspnes' CT because i've got some FamilyCrap going on that is sapping my soul. i have been looking inside for inspiration for pages, and all i find is rage and sadness. so. better for me not to be making stuff, i think. i will be around the place a lot, still, and admiring all the ART.

cheers

Oh Phylis, I am so sorry to hear about the stuff causing you pain. Please don't be a stranger here in the Daily O's.

Morning all & Phylis- hugs and prayers as you work your way through this time.
LInda- where should I pack myself in your bag-
Chris- maybe you should read your manual outloud- are you an auditory learner- or old like me and need to blow up the pages to full size?

Okay-I walked yesterday and today. Off to work now!

morning all....
not much to report...its another monday...although this one i have been looking forward to...the kid's bunk beds should be here today sometime! so i gotta start working on getting the kid's bedrooms put together :) i'll be doing that today im sure! other than that....an hour of exercise...trying to eat well again today....

Morning Peeps...

I now have son #2 in the single bed downstairs. He flew in from Seattle last nigh...post Midnight...with sore cramped legs. He's 6'2 and there sure isn't a lot of leg room these days.

We're on our way to Baltimore to see his sister/my daughter. Then I get to chain him to the cooktop so he can cook for us. He's the son who's a chef.

Well out to the bitter cold...but dry and with sun. It IS February! cya later

Happy Monday everyone!! Off to work for a full day and then going to supper at the in laws. SIL and her hubby will be there also. Expecting to share some bad news with them as BIL has had cancer and things have not been going so well for him. He is much older than she is and I am not sure what she will do without him?? He has done everything for her and I mean everything!!! She hardly knows how to cook because he has always done that too. Oh dear it won't be a fun evening!!

Chris - Checking out your blog right after I post here. I am bad for only using my auto setting on my camera too!! I have to read a manual about six times before anything actually sticks in my brain!! Unless its something that I am really excited to learn. Hope you get out and get some great shots today!!

Phylis - How sad that you are going through this rough spot with your family!! Sending loving thoughts your way and hope that you will still come and see us here in the daily chatter forum!!

LindaS - So excited for you!! Wishing I could join you on the beach!!

Laurie - Glad to hear you are walking again, I have to get back at it also!

Kristy - New bunk beds!! How exciting for you and the kids!! Lots of work ahead for you to get the room ready. Have a good workout!!

Maureen - Wonderful that your son is there to stay with you for while!! Enjoy the great cooking that you have planned for him!! Poor guy, those planes are so cramped for tall men!! Enjoy your sunny day!!

Well gotta hit the shower and get some breakfast, hope you all have a wonderful Monday!!

Phylis - so sorry to hear you're having problem. Scrap your feelings! You don't have to post them in the galleries, but it's good for you to get them written down!

Today is my father's 77th birthday! We are sooo happy to get to celebrate yet another birthday with him. (for those who don't know - his heart is almost totally kaput - only works 25%)

ITA-- scrap them. I did a page after my brother and SIL lost the first baby they were adopting and I made a brutal and angry and ugly page. But I was feeling brutal and angry and ugly. better out than in and not always Ogre Burps *hats off to Shrek*

Happy Birthday Eva's dad!

thanks, guys. but i don't think i would like to put these feelings down "on paper." just too too too ugly....:flame: <-- that's me.

Well my 'boys' (husband and son i.e.) are out at ..Old Country Buffet! and then to the Apple store to deal with son's two Macbooks. I couldn't believe he 1. has two and 2. he brought both of them with him. But he knows there is a store 3 min away so it is his vacation and ... ;-) it's a long story. LOL Isn't it always!

I took about a 90 min solid sleeping nap after we got home from the hospital. That may happen twice a year, if that, but boy did I need it today. Now I have the house to myself and some time to reflect. But God, I'm glad I have a home to come back to and not be dependent on an entitled need for 'the kindness of strangers.'
