Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays/Day Off to everyone!!

As for me, it is gonna be this kind of day.

We had a fun night. We left for my mom's around 3 and didn't get home until 10 which is crazy-long for me. Gary wasn't up to coming with us which made me sad, but the kids kept me laughing.
The silliest part of the night was when we got to my BIL/SIL's with my BFF and her family with us as always. Our kids are all relatively close in age. Scott is oldest at 21, then Cait and Julia (19), then Juliet and Dylan (17), and Sarah is 13. Since we have been doing this Christmas Eve togther, we have pics of them since they were very little. Jenn brought a bunch of them and had a fun idea of having them recreate a few of tem. That was hysterical, especially the three oldest girls trying to squeeze their butts onto the same step as when they were toddlers. ound:

Right now, the kids are sleeping, I have been awake since before 5am (yup, cof1: ), Gary and the dogs are awake and now we wait for the kids to roll out of bed.

I've got holiday folk music playing on Pandora and soon we get to see what Santa brought. Outside it is very white with new overnight snow.

Good evening my dears!
The Christmas evening finished here, but probably is just ahead of you.
Both days was very nice. Christmas eve is had many small rituals in past, but most of them are already forgotten. So mostly it was festive dinner.
Today we opened the presents. And then we was surprised by unusual warm weather, it could be Easter, so we spend much of the afternoon outside. With much muddy hugs. Then we watch a movie and we gathered for another festive dinner. My aunt came to be with us, which was so nice.

Chris, this story with the recreated photos sound so fun! Now when all it's over I hope you'll have some relaxing time! You deserved it! And I was thinking to do P365 when start my Instagram, but I'm afraid that I don't know how to deal at the sad days.

Jean, holiday folk music sounds so great and festive! Oh, your daily photos definitely will missed me! They are so pretty! Hope you find a new way good for you to do 52 project. At the beginning I consider the daily journal form, but 250 of my days are just the same, constantly repair, and the sad part is that I like that . Before I wrote a diary too. I think it's not important how, but just to find way to notice your life.

Rae, I love so much this pic of Taz with the elf hat! I joined to the fun too. Fingers crossed that both your daughters will be with you!

Nancy, so good that you are had fun birding! I totally understand all this mess around the grocery, I don't like it too, but it's the necessary evil. Hope now you have one funny Christmas!
