The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
I am soooooooooooo sad!!!!!!!!!! I had to flip my planner to September this morning. *holds back tears*
I know, I am in the minority about summer but I really don't mind the heat and humidity. I like that I am not always cold and miserable and I love the longer days. After next week, I am going to have to mentally move towards Autumn and accept that. At least it will be easier to cook when it is ok to have the oven on for hours. I have so many bananas in my freezer and the fam is bugging me for banana bread. Soon.

I got a bunch of things done that I had to do yesterday, it never rained so I did a bit of deadheading the flowers. I had to spend time with the rats, Caitlyn is still house-sitting with Tom. I sent her pics and videos of them so she could see how much I spoil them.
Today is more of the same, A bit of housework, a bit of Oscraps end of the month work, maybe some yard work.

Wishing everyone a great day!!!

Kay- eep. The side effects don't sound very good especially if they are messing up your BP. They sound very similar when my POTS symptoms were bad, which makes sense since it was my BP fluctuating rapidly. Flexeril is always what worked for me, as long as you don't have to be super alert for a bit. You must be so excited that your sister is coming today! Have a great time!!!
hahahaha!! That is so funny about wanting to tag me for the skeleton photo, you all know me so well! :D

@tanteva did that lithophane come out nice??? Told him he should have saved it for a Christmas gift to me. He got an order from a friend to make THREE of them!!
I have the same issues with screens and my eyes, especially when my contacts are in, my eyes get so dry.
I am going to need to keep my eye open for that author if he ever shows up on Hoopla. I haven't read a spooky book in a long time. When I was a teen I babysat for this one family who lived on a lake and the house was supposedly haunted. I would freak myself out reading Stephen King books (this was the 80s so Christine, Cujo, etc were popular).
I just looked at the hoopla site, and they don't have that one available but they do have Engelsfors Series (The Circle, Fire, The Key) Have you read them?

@felis We miss you too but are so glad that you aren't here every day because you are doing things that you enjoy. Just pop in occasionally so I don't worry because you know I will. :D It truly makes me so happy that you are happy and having fun with your sister.

@scrap-genie hope that the weather clears up for you soon. I will keep my eyes open for that movie. I am hoping that once Cait's classes start again (on Wednesday and she is not happy about it) I will have a better grasp on what day it is. Scott's work schedule -- every other day- has not been helpful. Until then, I am simply going to struggle a bit. I know you understand :D
The little alter you did for your friend is lovely, and I adore the skeletons.

Eva- that bag is so cute!!!

@Cherylndesigns (((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))) It is very hard to not be distressed over *waves arms all around* everything. It is a very good idea to step back and recharge yourself when you feel that way. If you ever need to vent, you can PM me.
I hope that dinner with the family helped too.

xoxo

It was just fantastic! I second that the man's a genious.

Yes! They are sooo good. Even better than Blood Cruise. Those books where how I found this author. It's co-written with Sara Bergmark, and they are a perfect match to co-write. The books are so good. It's YA, and it's kinda dark, but not that scary. Try them. I'm not sure how "weird" they are, for a non-Swede. Remember when the Millenium books (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo et al) was popular. I got asked so many questions everywhere, to explain "weird Swedish things" LOL

Eva- that bag is so cute!!!

Thanks, it was fun to do.

Woke up this morning of pain in the arm. Got a bit stressed first, since it was my left arm, but then I realized I had fallen asleep on the sofa (late night Netflix) and had my arm in a weird angle tucked up and sorta under my head. I'm supposed to clean this office/computer room today, but I'm not doing any magic today, will just tidy up a little bit.

Finished my book yesterday, it was good and gory. LOL Started a new one - People We Meet On Vacation by Emily Henry. Really enjoyed her Beach Reads, and have been waiting for the Swedish translation to this book. Just started, but it's promising.

Made me a siggy today, but now I don't remember where to upload them. I had an account somewhere before where I uploaded the siggies and linked to them, but the name of the site is *poof* gone from my head. LOL Feeling old, senile and stupid.

Work got cancelled tomorrow, cuz they are closing early to have some kind of planning meeting. But I work on Wednesday.

Other than that I'm hoping to hear from the plumber's ... I miss showering in hot water. Gee, I would be happy for luke warm water right now, I'm not picky. But as I said to hubby, we are soooo spoiled. We get CLEAN water, straight into the house. No need to walk a mile to a creek and carry water home. I really should shut the eff up and be happy.

Happiness is all in the perspective you chose.

Good Morning!
Hallelujah! The temps are supposed to cool down beginning Wednesday! I'm not like you, @faerywings! I absolutely LOVE me some fall weather! I wish it ran through summer, too! My body cannot handle the heat and humidity, so generally, the only time I stick my nose out the door is early morning or late evening or from the house AC to the car AC to the store AC! ;)

Hubby and I changed our diet last week, which included no caffeine. However, I had just bought a gallon of Milo's sweet tea that I was NOT going to toss. So I was really only caffeine free all day Saturday. Began to get a headache before bed.....woke up Sunday with a not-so-nice headache and stayed in bed until 3 p.m. until I had to get up because my hips hurt from laying so long! Had the stupid headache the rest of the day and went to bed with it. BUT, thank the LORD, I awoke headache-free today! At least, for now!

I am doing something different this year with my daily Bible reading. I am listening instead on Podbean. I can do something mindless while I am listening, like loading and unloading the dishwasher, which I did today before going out to take care of the garden before it gets too stinking hot! I pulled down the butternut squash vines as they were shading and killing out my marigolds which are still going strong! And, even though the vines were beautiful and had lots of HUGE yellow flowers, they yielded NOT A ONE butternut squash! I was so disappointed because we love butternut squash! I did get 2 spaghetti squashes and have 4 baby butternut squashes on those vines. It was an experiment of sorts, anyway, so I may or may not try again next year. Depends on what mood hits me in the spring!

For those of you amateur gardeners, like me, I learned (very late in the summer) that if your tomato plants are not producing, even though you get a gazillion blooms, you need to shake the plants a bit to cause the pollen to do whatever it does to make the tomato come on. After reading that and flicking my plants when new blooms come on, I now have tomatoes! I've had to start clipping my plants off at the top because they are over 6 feet tall! Probably closer to 7 feet as I am 5'9" and they are way over my head standing on the porch above where they are planted in my 3-tiered boxes!

Well, I need to get busy in my photo albums. I printed out a ton of pictures a couple of years ago nst ow and am just now sorting them by date and putting them in albums! I keep asking myself who's idea this was, but I have no one to blame but myself! I did this before I got back into digiscrapping! Remind me not to do that again (printing tons, that is!)! Now, I'm going to try using Anna's multiphoto templates and just do a monthly review.

OK, have a great Monday!

Good afternoon all

Chris @faerywings thanks so much for the big hugs. I'm a bit better today, but I've had to stay off social media for the last two days. Dinner with the family was a blessing last night except that Roger had had an accident earlier and had to go to the hospital for stitches. Adrienne was so upset and postponed dinner until 7 and still couldn't get her head on straight. We were all in the kitchen trying to help, but finally got it done. Two of our friends, who live on the property, also joined us.

I remembered to ask Ava about the skeleton - SO bizarre - she said last night it just popped into her head that she wished she still had "Skellie" and she wanted to get another one (or two). We're so on the same wave length. I've got to try to find one now. She said she wanted to put one in her guest bath tub and put a shower cap on her. ROTF

Vicky @vickyday NO caffeine???? I don't drink that much, but I NEED my 2 cups a day! However, I used to drink a lot more, so I guess 2 cups a day isn't bad.

Again, scrapping is my retreat! I've been a scrapping ninja. LOL That's about the only thing I can concentrate on.

Hugs all around.

@Cherylndesigns @tanteva I have IBS and caffeine is not good for it, so I am seeing how I do without it! Trust me! If I didn't think I should, I wouldn't! LOL! Another thing I need to get rid of is the sugar! But that is soooooo hard to delete completely!
