Am I allowed to :blah: about it being the last week of August/summer? I hope so because I am going to do it anyway. My goodness, it was cold yesterday. I was clearing some of the old plants in the backyard since that is where the sun was, the front was too shady to work in. Caitlyn and I are not happy that it is feeling more like autumn.
Although... It kind of felt nice to be snuggled under a cozy blanket watching TV last night. I am usually under blankets because Gary has to have the ceiling fan on him and that makes me cold if I am wearing shorts and have bare feet. But this felt different. I still prefer the heat, always.

Besides working outside for a bit, I got a couple of things done around the house. I also was able to scrap a LO with the Mini-Os. Wow, they are so pretty and the colors matched my Whisky.

Today I have errands all over town and then the vet with Cait and Cordelia this afternoon.

Hope that your day is a bit more exciting than mine-- but the only in a good way! Love to all!

Nancy- It must have been warmer by you yesterday or we had more clouds because I couldn't get warm even working outside in the sun. Cait and Brendan went to the NY Renaissance Faire and I wanted to tell her to wear a coat LOL
I bet that Shepard puppy was so cute and fluffy! Do you miss Luther being little like that? Of my four dogs, we only got one as a "puppy"- Harley, Ray, and Whisky were all between 6-7 months when we adopted them. J was 3 months and had that little round, puppy belly, and soft fur. And one big clunky head! The energy levels really do change, although we have been really happy to see Ray perk up a lot this past month. She has been running in the yard and "plays" with the other two. If you call doing one or two play-bounces at them as they race past her "playing." LOL

I think that by the time that Gary finishes up this week with the diet it will be one month. I should encourage him to stick it out a bit longer. Scott suggested that last night to him too.
Good luck to your friend's DD with celiac.

Felis- Candy and pet stuff- that is my kind of shopping trip! You should share your mom's pics of you too, would love to see you playing tourist.
Yes, neighbors' homes/yards play a huge role in house values, sadly.
I don't have much luck with seed packets either, but like your mom, I keep trying! hah!!
I will let you know how Dill does this afternoon. Thanks for the good thoughts.

I guess Trudy is getting ready for the kids/grands to head back home. If you read this, I am sending you hugs- I know how sad you will be to see them go. And tired, I know you are gonna be tired!

good late morning - Yesterday was a lovely day until it wasn't. I don't want to go into too much detail as it might all sort itself at but my married son spent the night with us. Other than that it was a good day. Got in a walk with Luther, got my Alaska album all put together and realized some how two pages were missing. My youngest son helped me get my printer working to perfection so all I had to do was print the pages and I am all set. I am a happy camper as it looks so good. Watching the Vuelta and it is really fun!

Chris our weather is awesome here. Was foggy this am but now it is glorious! Hope you get warm today. But darn I cant believe it is the end of Aug. Where did the summer go and it does feel so like the fall. But we should get heat again! Good luck with the errands and really good vibes to Dil!

Felis your shopping sounds awesome! I love that you found candy and pet supplies. And yes I love puppies and kittens but wow it is so nice when they don't require so much work as adults. How fun to act as tourists. And usually it is the parents embarrassing the kids but this time you all embarrassed your dad pretty funny!

Have a great day all!

Good morning girls,
you know me autumn is my favorite season! I see the yellow leaves and short days, but beside that here is still too hot for my taste, and they predict long Indian summer (I think you call it this way). I adore autumn, but I'm not exactly happy that the year is more than half gone. I'm not done as much as I hope and now comes most of the expenditure with the winter preparation and the holidays. Speaking about the bills for previous month we paid only € 3 for water bills, which is so unusual, as normally it cost us around €20. Probably they are mistaken something till take the numbers, so my mom had to go inform them, but all they said was that the next month will equalize the numbers as once ready bill can't be changed  . When they have these equalization bills it's never ends good, so I'm not sure this is exactly lucky coincidence.
I hate so much this period of bills and planning when we have to be serious! My neighbours have their kids on guest before the school year, and they ride bikes and roller skates and the whole street is noise from laughter and joy, it's more time to feels reckless and free.

Chris, these seed packets are as a lottery, we have success so rarely, so I don't know why mom hopes?! I'm not sure did we do it wrong or something is wrong with them, but we takes different brands with same (no) results. I hope your weather get warmer soon!
And I miss Trudy too, can't wait to see her layouts about the kids! Oh I don't plan to scrap my photos from Saturday, so here is one mom send me on Whatsapp.

Nancy, don't take this family situation too seriously! Marriage is so complicated these days, but they will clear all! You don't have much to do, is not situation which allows side help. Oh, home printing sounds nice as you are able to edit what not match, but how you'll stick the pages together?!

Sending hugs and hot wave in NJ direction! :yo:
