Hey there lOvely O-zies!!!

How is everyone this fine Monday morning? I am a-ok. I am slowly feeling better, and my energy levels are moving up from well-decomposed zombie to a more of a recently-turned zombie.

ha!!!

Yesterday was such a pretty day outside, i sat on the ground out back and pulled weeds that had sprung up and taken over some stones that we have our picnic table on. I also went for a short walk with my BFFATS who just got back from vacation.
Today I need to keep that momentum going, because I have to get food shopping soon. Gary needs to take Cait's car down for new brakes since I am taking her car to PA. My car needs two new back tires.

I am SOOOOOO glad that I ramble on to you ladies.
I was thinking about my tires and I know that aren't bald, since they are relatively new (2009), there is dry rot inside, according to the shop Gary took it to last week. I wondered about a warranty and there is a 6 year warranty......

DARN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just did the math in my head and the tires are 6 1/2 years old. We had them put on in Jan. 2009! :frusty:
%$%#%$*&*&$#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, there goes that shining light on my morning. So yippeeee! Back to thinking about food shopping.

Focus on the good, Faery, you got this.....

I only will be here for part of the week, since I am taking the kids to PA. That means I don't have to deal with figuring out what to eat for 4 days! Gary and Brendan will be on their own. heh!!!

I guess I should get going, I wanted to be out of here by now, but I haven't even gotten in the shower.

Hugs love and Faery Sprinkles of Joy!!

good morning - yesterday was lovely! Beautiful weather! Got in a good walk. Watched my husband work on the yard. This will be interesting to see if he really does the job as he often says he will but is not good at follow through or finishing. It is giving him something to do so that is good. Got a lot of scrapping done watching baseball. Last night was also the NFL HOF game so football is back. And speaking of football Frank Gifford died. I don't remember watching him play but I sure remember him on Monday night football. I have a few errands today but must walk today as tomorrow is forecasting 1-2 inches of rain which is needed.

Have a great day!

Morning ladies... I was MIA yesterday as the day was filled with yard work, our poor yards have been sadly neglected for the past 5-6 weeks and are looking pretty sad! But with a lot of hard work they are now weed free and trimmed up, looking good again. Except of course for the dried up dead grass. But not much we can do about that as we are still on level three watering restrictions. We had a bit of rain on Saturday, but certainly no where near what is needed. So today I am cleaning the last bathroom that was used downstairs, washing the floors down there and getting the last of the :washing: done. Then I will be officially cleaned up and back to normal in my house. I would much rather have the chaos and mess back!!!! I am missing everyone very much, so hopefully I will get some scrap therapy in today. I have a page in my head already for the Lyric challenge, so I guess I should start there. I need to get through all of the pictures taken this summer and pick out the ones I want to scrap for sure! Wish me luck, I am gung-ho to get going, but not sure where to begin :becky:

Chris - Glad to hear that you are no longer a full on decomposed zombie LOL. I hope you will have fun on your trip to PA, it will be a great get away for you and the kids! Good luck with the grocery shopping also, I hate that job!! Nice that you spent some time outside in the sunshine and lovely weather, that is always a good way to clear out the cobwebs!!

Nancy - Your hubby is total opposite of mine, I can't get mine to come in from doing yard work , he would stay out there until it is too dark to get it all done. I heard that Frank Gifford had passed away, I had no idea that he was in his 80's, seems he died of natural causes, he had a pretty good life! (although sometimes it was it bit controversial) :becky: Send some of that rain this way please, we are becoming a desert out this way!

I never thought I would be screaming for RAIN!! I hope that you get your errands done and get in a good walk before your rain hits!

Hi Jean, Hi Sharon  I hope that you are having a wonderful day! Will catch up with you all soon. Right now I need some coffee and put in another load of :washing:

Good evening O fam! I have certainly been MIA- we decided back in May to put our house on the market and I was busy with painting and decluttering. It officially went on the market June 13th, and we had an offer mid July. We accepted and then realized we had better find a house to move to- we did- about 2 hours away but close to our new business. The best part, hubby will only have one night out on the road. Now to see if our current home appraises enough for the buyers loan to go through. I have packing time later this week and will stop in with the next update!
