Okay...no OOO's until almost LUNCH TIME?? We can tell Chris is on vacay!!!

We had a little visitor yesterday...well three...Baby Josie came to see us with her Mom and Dad...she is our #8 grandchild. Jamie, her mom, is my stepdaughter...we had not seen her since May...she is crawling and into to stuff now (10 months)...


That was a nice surprise!!

Kristy, are you happy or sad about Kindergarten starting?

had a nice opportunity to sit and talk with my daughter today (my 20-something "baby.") SO good that the air is clearing between us all. i am always so amazed that the "being a parent" thing just never ends.

Good Afternoon/Evening--home sweet home- for me- MMG is heading out to start his work week. I am decompressing from traveling and planning my attack on this house!
 
im a mix of both i think...LOL

her appt went well she had her kindergarten physcial...hearing and eyesight just fine...shes 3ft 4.25" (10%) and 32.25lbs (7%) she got her shots she SCREAMED LOL...but she did fine with the finger prick....umm yep shes ready for school now! YAY!
 
almost bedtime for me.. what fun to have an unexpected visit of the little one Linda.
My house is so quiet without the "visitors" and extra dog- it looks empty.We tiedied the last of the strewn toys away today. And I tackled the heap of ironing.. all pillowcases and teatowels done. phew.
That leaves only the big things.

ha, ha Phylis did you really think being a parent would get any easier?
I'm afraid that's a delusion but hey we'll never stop learning how to be one.

Kristy do you mean they have to do a test before they can start kindergarden?? :faint2:

not a test...kind of like a well baby check...physical exam...check her eyes, ears, health etc...
