Happy Monday everyone! The sun is shining even if it is very cold again. Did everyone have a nice, relaxing weekend? Mine was pretty boring. Laundry, food shopping prep, worked on the puzzle a bit.
Gary was able to glue the mirror back onto Caitlyn's windshield so we can drive it around town as long as we don't touch it, I guess. That isn't a problem for Caitlyn and me since we are close to the same height. I just don't know how long we can do this.

Today I am off to the Dr for my final post-surgical check. I have one little stitch that seems to be stuck in the scar but other than that, it looks like it is healing fantastically. After that, I am going to go visit my parents. I get to drive my car since the kids are carpooling today. Scott usually goes in 2 hours later than Cait but said he will be able to go and study. He has a chem test today-- good thoughts to him for a passing grade.
I offered to help him study and then we both laughed. It is all algebra based and my goodness, I thought algebra and chem were kind of fun when I was in HS, but not only was that decades ago, it was basic!

I better post this so I can get in the shower.
Hugs!!!

Nancy- thank goodness for the warmer pool temp especially since it is so cold outside. Were you able to get Luther out for a good walk? We never got heavy rain here so hopefully, you didn't either. How many hockey games did you watch this weekend? You must have been in heaven.
I will have to look into the ins. policy. I know it is covered if something falls and breaks the windshield- BTDT several times- but I don't know if it would since it isn't an "accident." Thanks for the idea to check!

Trudy- we are going to be in the 30*s tonight-- toooo cold for this time of year! Hope that the weather was nice enough to plant your peony. I hope that it turns out to be red, bet it looks very dramatic.

Jean- I felt the same way at first with Fantastic Beasts. I can't wait for the second one to be released on DVD.
What other colors do rhodos come in, I think that I have only seen them in light purple. My azalea has buds and that always makes me happy.

good morning! The sun is shining but goodness gracious it is 39 degrees when I woke up. That is too cold but unlike the midwest I do not have snow! In fact we did not even get any rain. My DH has decided he is going to do the lawn but of course the lawn mower is broken and then he was going to borrow son's but he decided rain was going to come but did not so my weedy front yard will continue to grow. There was no overtime hockey last night. So all the teams that finished the first round lost their first games and all but the Islanders came back and won the second game. That is good for me as I want a lot of hockey. And the under 18-USA came home with the bronze medal. I was glad to see them do so well. Jack Hughes is projected #1 draft choice and that is the Devils pick. He broke a record for the tournament scoring 32 points, one more than Alex Ovechkin's. Looks like the Devils will get a good player! Yesterday woke up and my son was off at work. I asked my DH was he sure our son knew it was a Sunday. LOL. Anyway shock of shocks when he came home he told us he and his work mate will be staying at their friends place while he is off on holiday. So for a while my DH and I will be empty nesters. I know my son wants out of here and now he is getting the chance to show his friend that it is good. Well I hope it is good. He friend is also leaving his mother who is a recent widow so I know it is hard for her too. Anyway we were shocked but good for him. Got some scrapping done but not uploaded.

Chris glad you got the mirror back on. Don't touch it! LOL Good luck at the doctor!

Trudy wow a red peony! Hope it blooms for many years! No OT last night! Yea! Hope your weather gets warmer!

Jean yes I stay up late for all games. Glad you got some sunshine. I like that movie and was not sure I would.

Waving to all!

Have a great day all!

Morning O-zies!! It is another sunny day but still chilly only 5 degrees. Today I will get my paintings to the coffee shop and hopefully get some pics for you all. We had a nice day outside yesterday, but did not get the bathrooms cleaned so I will have to get that lovely job done today sometime. So perhaps I will have some time to play here today? Hard to believe that April is almost done, sure hope the temps warm up for everyone in May! I should be getting a Facetime call from Heather and Hunter soon so I will try to get this posted before she does.

Chris - Glad that your Gary was able to re-attach the mirror, my Gary has done his three times now and still it falls off as soon as the temp is too warm in the truck. I think the glue used is just not as good as what the dealership can use. But my DH refuses to pay them to have it installed properly, so he just doesn't use it anymore. Not sure if it is against the law to not have one :noidea: LOL just googled it and apparently as long as you have two functioning side mirrors than you are ok. Not sure if it is very safe though :mmph: Nice to have your final post surgical check done! Perhaps the dr. will remove that last stubborn stitch for you.
Opps Heather is calling so I will continue a bit later on.

Back to clouds today. DH will be home from H&S soon and I've done the bills, etc. Now to work on a family history scrapbook page book for his sister who will be here May 17 & 18. I've worked some on one twice before, but this time I'm really doing it. Discount available through tomorrow. Got out birding in the sun yesterday and saw Purple Martins and two other kinds of swallows and Chimney Swifts. All feed on flying insects which means their food is here and so is another phase of spring.

Chris, good luck with Doc today and with Cait's car mirror. The rhodos we bought are white (2), pink, and red. We'll see what that looks like before too long. We have white azaleas in front, all white, and the buds look ready to pop.

Nancy, what fun with all the hockey games and great news on the Devils' first pick prospect. I was also glad not to have snow yesterday!

Trudy, how exciting to be hanging your work today! But certainly offset with the cleaning chores. Hope you're are enjoying doing the paintings.

Cheers, everyone!

Whew that was a long chat!! LOL Hunter has had his lunch and now is ready for a nap. Cold and rainy at DD's today, they are not having very good weather all week long  All caught up on the happenings from the weekend there and now I need to get into the shower and head to the bank before I go hang my paintings. My debit card has a huge crack in it so i need a replacement.

Nancy - Hope you got caught up on your sleep with no OT hockey games happening! Nice that your son is trying to make the break from living at home, it must be frustrating for him to not be on his own. It is hard to be empty nesters, we love our kids but it is good when they are happy and on their own! Sorry that your DH was unable to get the grass cut, hopefully the lawn mower will get fixed soon! It would drive my DH crazy to have long grass LOL!!

Jean - good for you for getting the bills done! That is something else I need to get done also. I can be such a procrastinator when it comes to paying the bills! Saw your latest work on your blog! Love it! Hope you are enjoying your creative outlet! Nice that you were able to get some birding in yesterday and in the sunshine!! Lots of purple Martins here also. The California Doves are back now too, they sometimes drive me crazy with their constant cooing. We never used to have them here, but they have been around the last couple of years.

Ok off to the shower and then on with my day. Wish me luck with the coffee shop picture hanging! I am taking a lot of paintings trying to decide which will be able to hang together will be a challenge and intimidating with customers there to watch me. Yikes!! Have a great day everyone!

Wow.. this has been a heart-stopping morning. I had worked in PSE 2019 and finished a page... went back to look at it and all my PSE programs stopped working. :hurt: Uninstalled PSE 2019 and reinstalled it. But got an error code 01. Tried to manually launch and got the same error message - do not have permission to access.. I had uninstalled and reinstalled - still had the same problem. Got hold of Adobe help and it took them almost 3 hours to get the problem solved... after many uninstalls and re-installs! Not sure where the problem was but the tech was determined to get it resolved for me. The 1st tech passed me on to an advanced tech who worked like a Trojan for 2 hours to get it solved! Whew... don't want to have to go through that again. The bad part was that it also affected PSE15 with the same problem so it was uninstalled also. Decided to not put it back for now. Needless to say I haven't done anything but work with the Adobe Techs most of the day. I think I am ready to go hide :behindsofa: Think I will call it a day and get off the computer and go read.
