Have I said before that I am done? Stick a fork in me, done? I have? OK, then I am gonna have to say it again. I got my x-ray results back. I have Multi-Level Disc disease. Degenerative Discs in my neck. Now I have to go and see an orthopedist. I am hoping that this is just a minor thing, part of aging, but that isn't they way my life seems to work, does it. Grrr!! My LLMD thinks that I have herniated discs in my lower back which causes sciatica to flare. So what if I am having problems in my lumbar and cervical vertebra? That's gonna suck. Is it related to my scoliosis? Is it because I have osteopenia? How am I going to squeeze in an appt to an orthopedist while seeing a Rheumatologist (LLMD), cardiologist, ophthalmologist, and probably a neurologist? I am going to need to see a psychologist after all of that! :faint:

On a positive note, if I have degenerative discs and that is causing pinched nerves which are what is causing the pressure and tingling in my arms and jaw, then I am not having heart attacks. That is a huge plus if you ask me. Of course, that doesn't solve anything withtheBP/heart palpitations but that will go away when my Lyme does.

Oh. Yeah.

That might never happen.

Everyone must have been enjoying their Sunday since it was very quiet in here.

Rae- What a busy weekend you had! Great finds at the garage sale, don't you love that? I love canning jars too, and I use chalk paint markers to label them and it looks so much nicer than Tupperware.
How was the dance recital?

I am off and "running." Not really running, but making my To-Do list which seems to get longer and longer by the minute.

HAGD! xoxo

Chris- so sorry to hear about your neck issues. Degenerative Discs are a part of aging. Literally, they are a pain in the "neck"! I have DD in my lower back and with it comes pain. Good luck with the ortho dr. My ortho and I are good friends because of my knee!

Real life has gotten in my way. Between my 86 yo MIL having a major stomach virus needing round the clock care and DD needing help and contractors in the house, we are spread pretty thin. DH and other DD have been taking care of MIL and FIL and it has been crazy.

My dog with heartworms had her final treatment and the doctor feels positive. She responded well and has no after effects. Crossing my fingers until Nov. when we get a repeat hw test.

I hope all the O's have a great day!

Good morning, ladies. The wkend flew by. Didn't get many chores or taxes done but I did get our android TV box up and running (love it), attended Courtney's recital (I'm so proud of her) and we sat down last night and watched Rogue One which we enjoyed. I even got a scrap page completed. We were at Jen's yesterday, hubs put together some shelving and did a few handyman chores for her. Taz enjoyed visiting, it was his first time in her new place and I think him and Noel (her cat) were happy to see each other. One sat with me (Noel) and the other sat with Bailey (Taz) and they were purring and tail wagging at each other. Made some baked chicken thighs and love that so much more than chicken breasts. I'll be stocking up when I see the next sale. It was simple, just patted them dry, rubbed a bit of EVOO on them and then sprinkled a jamaican spice, salt and pepper and all purpose seasoning overtop and baked for 45 minutes. So easy. Tonight will be baked potato wedges/sausage/green pepper and parmesan bake.

Remember when I said this week would be much more relaxing work-wise? I should have known better LOL. One of my bosses who is away this wk left me with backlog that should take all week to finish....figures LOL. Oh well, more money for me so that part is good. I was looking forward to some extra free time though b/c I really need to buckle down and get at the tax stuff.

Chris - hugs to you, it's always a new challenge with your health. The only good thing is knowing what's wrong so you can do whatever you can to be as healthy as you can and minimize progression of anything if possible. I have arthritis in my back and neck so am happy to know b/c for years it went undiagnosed and I thought it was normal to hurt as you got older. But then while x-raying for something else, they discovered the damage to my lower back and lower neck. Good thing is that I am aware of it now, know not to move certain ways and improve my posture and exercise to strengthen. So I guess that is my silver lining, is that the knowledge is power as far as understanding and treatment.

Sharon - hope things get more on an even keel for you soon. Glad to hear your dog seems to be doing so well.

Nancy and Trudy - hope you are having a great day.

I'm getting to work now for a few hrs and if the weather holds up, I'll get out for a walk with Taz. We have lots of rain predicted for this wk so have to enjoy the clear skies while I can.

Hey ladies... oh so late getting here today, but feeling really crappy as of course I caught a nasty cold from the grands!! Seems to happen every time I am with them for more than a couple of days. They both had colds and runny noses when I got there so it figures that I would eventually get sick too! Did not seem to matter how much hand washing I did, those lovely hugs and kisses from them were no match for it LOL!! Worth it though and I am now missing all the snuggles!! We spent the afternoon at the pool yesterday and the kids had lots of fun going down the waterslides! I had to keep hitting the hot tub to warm up LOL (dam cold!) Anyway sorry for being so MIA but hoping to get back into my routine tomorrow! I am off to the grocery store to restock the fridge, hope I don't have the chills the whole time I am there  I will catch up with all of you tomorrow I promise!
