I am not going to have much, if any time to scrap this weekend  But its all for good stuff- today is my godson's 2nd birthday party!! Poor little man has been so sick this week. I hope he is feeling better today so he can enjoy the party.
I really cannot get over that he is going to be two. (Just wait a couple of weeks when Scott turns 17!!!!!!!!!!)
Then tomorrow is another College Open House. And then I have to get stuff done for the May Bash here next weekend. (Scott's Birthday. Gary's Birthday, Mother's Day and 2 anniversaries to be celebrated...)
I know what i am making the moms for their gifts-- doing a Subway Art styles word cloud and will be making wall plaques out of it. Gary has scrap wood and will make that plaque part and I have to do the graphics part. But I need both kids to give me words to describe the Moms!! They have been so busy out and about I can never get them pinned down in one place at the same time..... I would have done it last night but I was feel so horribly.
Gary's b-day was quiet, but nice to have the 4 of us together for dinner and then watched some old Night Court episodes. That is about as exciting as it gets in the Faery House. In fact in fact it was so quiet that I had to call my mom at 9pm. She never called Gary to wish him a Happy Birthday-- which is totally unlike her. So much that I worried something had happened. She had been over at my brother's-- Christopher was so sick that they had to rush him into the doctors and with the party being today everything was in chaos over there. She had totally forgotten that it was Gary's b-day and when I told her why I was calling (not that she forgot but that I was worried about her) she burst into tears and felt awful-- poor Gary was like-- its not a big deal,Mom!!! But to her, it was a very big deal. Its where I get it from... it is true, apples don't fall far from the tree.
So what are all of you doing? I would love to hear about your weekends too!!
