It is here and am I ready? Of course not! I have no idea how many people are coming since I never heard back from my BFF. :(
I got a lot done yesterday but I pooped out mid-afternoon so I have more to do today. I was screwing stuff up and making a mess and I realized that I needed to stop or it would only get worse.

It got really really cold here overnight. We went from uppers 80s to 56* overnight. BS!
:yell:

I have to get going but wanted to say Good morning to you all!

good morning! It is back to cloudy damp and chilly only 61 degrees. They said it was to be sunny. But this cloudy stuff I am not fan. Got a lot of scrapping done last night as I watched hockey so that was good. Pens tied the series so both the West and the East conferences are tied at 2 so at least two more games in each series. Today is am watching the World Hockey semi finals. Canada vs Russia is on now. Both teams are playing hard. Later it will be Sweden vs Finland. So I should have lots of time for scrapping. Not much else going on.

Chris have a great time at your party today! I am sure you are prepared for all who come. Most importantly have a great time!

Trudy how did the soil moving go? Do you have to spend all holiday weekend moving soil? Enjoy the holiday!

Rae so glad that you DH is doing better. Bummer to sick on a holiday weekend. Sounds like you are getting Taz better so that is great!

Have a great day all.

Good morning, ladies. The sun is shining, the temps are climbing and it is going to be a beautiful day here (finally) on the west coast. I have lots to do around the house but will get out for a long walk with Taz later. I need to get some CT work done this morning, shower and then get out of here for awhile.

Chris - have fun today. Hope your energy holds up and you can enjoy it!

Nancy - sounds like a perfect schedule for you....hockey and scrapping!

Darrell is feeling a bit better but I don't think he'll be getting off his chair much this wkend. I was freezing yesterday so was worried I was getting his flu but I feel fine today so hopefully it'll pass me by. I'm going to get ingredients later to make keto friendly parmesan crackers later. i think tonight I'll have crackers with pepperoni...yum.

Trudy - hope you aren't too sore today. Got lots of dirt shoveled yesterday?

Ok, I better go get my CT work finished up so I can get out of here.

Hi Ladies... very late getting in here today, but we have been busy moving my computer desk and computer etc. into the kitchen area this morning. Telus came and activated the plug in that we needed. I am just fed up with the neighbours barking dogs and listening to them fight or continually talking on the phone outside. So I am now set up in the a beautiful little spot away from the noise and I have my beautiful view to look at all day and the TV here beside me as well if I want to watch anything or listen to music. I am feeling more tranquil already! Yesterday we got all of the shoveling done, all flattened out and grass seed planted. We worked hard all day long, but amazingly enough we are not that sore today. It might catch up with us tomorrow, who knows. Anyway I just wanted to pop in to say hi to everyone and now I am off to grocery shop and get a new crockpot, mine bit the dust. :mmph: A bonus though as we won a $50 gift card to London Drugs with the Hospital Home Lottery so that will pretty much cover the cost of the crockpot that I want. :bliss: Going to enjoy the gorgeous weather for our May long weekend, this never happens, it is usually pouring rain!! Ok gotta get outta here! :bolt: Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Whew!! I did it! :cheer2:
But now I am all like :faint:

The party was a success, everyone had a nice time. The food was good, wine was good, the company- the best. I always feel bad that I don't get to spend as much time with everyone as I would like, but that is the way it goes.

Today is Scott's actual birthday and I think the only thing he wants is homemade pizzas for dinner. That I can do. The kitchen is a mess but also doable. But I know thatI have to take it easy today. I pushed myself too hard the last few days.

So that's it for today, tidy up a bit, scrap a bit and pizzas.

Nancy- hope you stayed warm while you watched hockey yesterday, It was kind of brutal with is so cold. The sun is out today so even though I am freezing, it doesn't seem as winter-like as yesterday did. OK, I am exaggerating, it wasn't really like winter- but more like late March :D

Rae- yikes, Darrell must be really sick- hope that you don't get it. Good luck with Taz and his food.

Trudy- I feel so bad that your neighbors take away your peaceful yard but I am happy that you have found a little way around it. That is great that you aren't sore after al of that work.
Woot on the gift card and crockpot!

xoxo to all of you!!

good late morning - whew I have been getting a lot of scrapping done. Thanks for lots of hockey games. Yesterday's games were awesome. Canada made a dramatic comeback to be in the gold medal game for the 3rd year in a row. Pretty impressive! Canada will play Sweden while Finland plays Russia for bronze. Then for the NHL Pens will take on the Sen. Last night Preds/Ducks game was fast and lots of hard hard hitting. The sun finally came out yesterday evening so got Luther out and saw so many rabbits. And a cat which he really likes to chase. This morning the sun is shining and while the temps are still in the 60s it feels so much warmer. My DH and I took Luther to a different park and it was fun! Going with my DIL to the Rock for a special photo ops with retired Devils star Patrick Elias. He is my favorite Devil of all time. Then going to my downtown as they police, fire and maintenance departments are having a BBQ for the town. Free food. Should be fun! I will watch the taped games in the evening.

Chris I am so happy that you are happy that everything went so well. Take it easy and have fun making the homemade pizzas. How sweet that that is what he wants.

Rae glad the Darrell is taking it easy so he gets better faster. Whew glad that the sickness passed you by. And I am sure that Taz is enjoying the good weather and a long walk.

Trudy well good for you and your DH getting all your yard work done. The young man I had cut my yard last summer has a job so now his younger brother is doing and did a great job! Then my DH did the backyard. So I too am not sore LOL. I am glad you moved your computer but so sad that the neighbors made it necessary. Have a great rest of your holiday weekend.

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. Didn't get much done yesterday. Dropped off the computer, then went back out later to pick it up, now its home but will be going to the other tech shop this week for a new card reader (which I busted the first day I got it home and never brought it back for replacement) and at the same time I am having them double the ram so the next time PS gets glitchy and starts eating up up all my memory, hopefully the computer will be able to handle it better. It looks like all my problems were related to PS. The new update they put out is going haywire for some people and using up insane amounts of ram (memory). So hopefully I will have the computer back later in the week and can reinstall PS on it. The crazy thing is that my small computer upstairs developed the same problem last night (after the new update). With PS running it went from using about 30% of the available ram to 95% and started crashing. It is definitely PS b/c I kept checking the task manager as I opened up different programs and it is just PS. I uninstalled PS and my computer was fine. So I found my old CS5 and installed that to scrap on upstairs. How frustrating. I have PE15 which is also an option to use for scrapping upstairs but I don't have time to learn it right now. But for sure I need PS CC on my main computer as I edit so hopefully this all gets worked out somehow. I am so sick of computer/software problems (not to mention the money I have to spend).

Darrell was so sick yesterday, he wasn't able to keep any food down and looked awful. I think his Crohn's makes this type of sickness worse too, b/c at the best of times he has trouble with digestion, discomfort, bathroom issues. Poor guy. Today I'll go get him some fruit cups (silly man, won't let me get him any real fruit). I took Taz out to the park I used to bring him and Ava to. He was so happy. A few of the regulars were there and we all had a good chat, not having seen them in months. One pup, Kai, a sable colored doodle, was about 15 lbs the last time I saw him and now he is 45 lbs and tall. It was a beautiful day to be outdoors. Today I need to work and do tax stuff (the mid June deadline is coming up fast). Tonight I will try scrapping on my CS5. I don't think there is a content aware fill on this version so I will miss that but hopefully I can manage with it.

Chris - of course the party went well, all your parties do. You all love to get together. Hope Scott enjoys the pizza later.

Nancy - sounds like a wonderful wkend for you. Enjoy yourself.

Trudy - sounds like the new location for your desk/computer is going to work well and get you away from the noise.

I'm going to get another coffee and relax for a bit. I love wkend mornings and not having to rush. Have a great day everyone.
