Happy Easter and a Joyous Passover to those who celebrate! And a very happy Spring weekend to everyone. Oh, Happy Autumn weekend to anyone Down Under. Although by the time you read it, it might already be Monday.

I am happyhappyhappy! I see the sun! I am not focusing on the forecast of some wet snow coming up in the next week.Nope. Not today. Today it is going to be sunny and 50* about as Spring-like as I have seen yet this month.
Maybe I can see if Cait wants to take the dogs for a walk today. The trainer says that "pack walking" is a great bonding tool and a good way to burn off some energy. I can't take both (def not all 3!) at the same time on my own but maybe Cait will be up to it.

Yesterday was so cold and damp I had a hard time getting warm. I want it to get hot, I want to wear shorts and paint my toes. It will happen. At some point.

I cooked again last night. Baked ziti and bread in the bread machine. I cooked "real" food 4 nights this week. Not bad! Can I be done for a few weeks now? :D I have to make deviled eggs to bring to Passover Seder tonight. I am looking forward to spending time with Leah's family and their traditions.

Aside from that, I have a quiet day.

Have a great day!!!

Hi Rae! Your morning sounded like it was peaceful and I bet you need every moment of zen that you can get. Proud of you for concentrating on that.
What book are you reading now? I am reading Year One right now. Thanks for the recommendation :)
It is good to have a goal to focus on with decluttering. You know that I have every good healing thought in my being sent to Bailey. You are so smart to bake and prep snacks for her. How is Jen holding up?
I saw you prep the April 52 Challenge and that made me really happy.

Felis- I hope that Biggie gets used to the new dog soon. we have new neighbors across the street and I am nervous that they will have a dog and I will have yet another one that J will bark at. But maybe it will be good for her to see more dogs.
When Caitlyn was in HS, a friend of hers had told her that a teacher was texting inappropriate photos to her. He had done this to another student as well. Caitlyn reported him to the school administration who had to call in the police. He was fired and now there is a court hearing on it. Cait needs to testify against him. She isn't happy about that part of it at all but I keep telling her how many other girls she might have helped by this. But it isn't easy.

Sharon- ouch on the shots, did they make your sciatica worse? Good luck with the PT!

good morning - yesterday was so weird as my son was home so it just changes my day and timing and posting. Well my team still is in the play offs as we lost in OT to Penguins on Thursday and the Panthers lost in OT to the Senators so we are still 3 points ahead of them still. Now we have 3 games against teams that are not in the play offs NY Islanders, Montreal Canadiens and NY Rangers. All are against rivals who I know want to spoil my Devils chance to make it to the play offs. I can only hope they play as well against these teams as against the so called better teams. Being rivals might help make sure they have the intensity needed. This morning as Chris said it gorgeous. It actually makes me feel that spring is coming. There are buds on trees and my crocus are out and so are the daffodils. We took Luther out and wow I did not need a heavy coat but still needed the coat but as we walked the sun was so warm. It was so funny when we walked in the cold there were so many walking their dogs but now with it warm there were so many joggers and very few dogs. The swallows are back at the birding boxes and the blue birds too so that made me really happy! Now tonight I am off to the Devils/Islanders. Tomorrow we are going to the In-laws so that will be fun! Early dinner so I can be home to watch the Devils LOL.

Chris you should get out for a walk it is so nice. The sun is something to soak in while we can. And I agree no thoughts for snow on Monday. That would be a cruel joke. I hope the Cait can look at all those women who finally came forward in the Nassar trial and be so glad that she spoke up and saved other girls from these horrible events. I know it is hard to be brave but if she is like you she can do this. Good luck with Scott getting a job or internship! Enjoy the Seder.

Rae so good to see your post. Having a schedule and more now knowing what is going on has got to make things a bit easier. Love that you are bringing her snacks. Good luck with the clean out. And as always sending the best thoughts and prayers.

Felis poor Biggie not understanding that he cant just visit his new next door dog. I am sure you will calm him down. Hope you have some good weather.

Sharon I had my sciatic act up on me this summer and OMgosh I feel your pain. Hope the shots help soon!

Jean hope you are getting our weather sun and a bit of a warm up!

Trudy saw the photo of you and grands with your colored eggs. My sons just really never to into that - we are not crafty. Trudy please I am counting on your Bruins to defeat the Panthers and really help my Devils out. I will be cheering loudly for them.

Have a great holiday weekend to all!

Hello girls,
I'm happy you have good weather too, because here is lovely. We spend most of the day out. The poor neighbor girl hide in her house till her owners comes. But when she saw mine to play she go out and watch a little. Biggie was exciting to play with Tiny and Hunter and don't barked at her. Then she, was so happy when her people finally came home. We spoke with them for a little. They are one that I like. Of course this makes other side neighbours jealous and they start murmuring through the fence about noise and increasing number of animals. Damn citizen why they comes in farm area and try to urbanisation it?! I easy could put them on a right place, but this is my week to be kind, and already made one mistake, so this time choose to keep quiet and pretend I'm not hear. I really have to invest in brick wall, but need to find some architect that can gives me approval for this area, because not everybody want. However it was lovely sunny and funny day out.

Chris, I remember this case with Caitlyn. We had similar case here and they show it at the night TV show with investigations, but I'm sure they are many more. I can imagine how difficult is all this procedures for Cait, but men like him escalated and if she don't stop him now in future he can hurt some girl. Like Nancy told she is your daughter so she will do all to have a justice! And you are great support of her! Have fun with Leah's family and their traditions!

Nancy, your day also sounds great and very similar to mine. :) Now is the best time for walks before the hotness to come.

Sharon, I was hoping to see you here during the party! Sorry you don't feels good. Hope to get better soon! What happen with your dog assistant, is it have something new?!

Trudy, so good you had Easter fun with the kids! Tomorrow probably will be very difficult to get back to the ordinary life  .

Jean and Rae  !

Good Morning ladies... I am up super early this morning, guess my mind is not liking the quiet house LOL. Oh well the night before I slept like the dead and never woke up once during the night. Strange that I can't seem to manage two nights in a row like that. Yesterday was sad as we said goodbye to the grands and their Mom and Dad, but then very happy for them that they are on a fun vacation together! Our son sold his sailboat, which was bittersweet for him and their house is on the Market and they have already had two showings. It will sell quickly, it is a hot market and they have a lovely home. Lots of time spent on the computer here looking at new housing in Ontario with them. I will be very sad when they have to leave the Island in August.

Chris - Sure hope that you can get out for a nice walk with Cait and the dogs today! I can't believe you are still having snow forecasts for your area! Ugh!! Enjoy the sunshine today while you can and soak up that Vitamin D!! Tell Cait how proud we all are of her, she of course knows that she is doing the right thing, but it still must be stressful for her! Yesterday afternoon my Gary and I got a truckload of mulch for the front yard garden and I was thinking it would have been nice to have you there to help us shovel all that mulch, it was great therapy :becky:

Nancy - Nice to hear that your trees are budding and the birds are all coming back! Hooray for spring like weather! You must have liked the win for the Bruins, we sure did! Hope that they can keep on winning! Hope you and Luther see more dogs on your next walk. Strange that their are more joggers now and less dog walkers :noidea:

Felis - Sweet that their is a new dog in your area, sad that your Biggie can't go over to play, but perhaps soon it will happen. Too bad that your other neighbours are complaining, for heaven sake it is farm area of course there are going to be lots of animals Sheesh, some people LOL. Nice that you are sticking to your week of being kind, I know sometimes that can be a hard thing to do. Yes it is strange not to have the kids here anymore, I treasure every moment that I can spend with them!

Rae - How lovely to see that you popped in here the other day! Glad that you are settling into a routine with B, it will be long road ahead for all of you! Have they given you any info about the Acquired Brain Injury Team? They would be able to help you out with things that you might need when B comes home. Sounds like the Encephalitis affected a different part of the Brain than my Heather, she had no memory loss, but so many other issues. for you my friend, you are an amazing grandmother!! I hope that you find joy in scrapping again soon, keeping busy with the decluttering will be good for you also, idle hands are the Devils workshop my Mother used to say. I am keeping you all close to my heart!

Well I think that I should really try to get back to bed and get a few more mins of sleep if I can. Lots of cleaning and :washing: to do today before we head up to the In-Laws for Easter Dinner. Apparently it is also a gathering for SIL Linda's birthday which was on the 26th of March as well as FIL's birthday, which isn't until the 10th of April and for my birthday also which isn't until the 14th. Gee it sure would have been nice to have been informed about all this a bit sooner than then just the other day!! Oh well its a good thing I ordered a gift for FIL last week, so I have at least one gift purchased. SIL might be getting some flowers or a potted plant. Hope you all have a wonderful Easter Sunday and that the sun shines brightly for you all!

Happy Easter everyone. I relaxed and read a bit of my book this morning, then did a stretching routine, showered, dressed and now am going to take Taz out for a bit before heading up the hospital this afternoon.

Just wanted to say hi and maybe I'll get a chance to pop back in later tonight when we get home.

Trudy - thx for that info. We're not anywhere near that point yet. I think they will work with us when we approach a time for her leave the hospital. I believe from what they are saying, she'll be in there at least another month or more.

Hope you all enjoy your day and do something fun. BFN
