Wait, is it still March? Is it still 2020???
It has not even been a month since we put down Floyd. That seems like a lifetime ago. A month ago we were still hoping that we could go on the cruise.

while I try to wrap my head around the existence of "time" let's do some breathing. When you are ready, close your eyes and take a nice, deep breath, into your abdomen. Hold for a count of 3 and release... Do that three more times. Shake out your body a bit, wiggle all the tension lose. Ahhhhhh!

We had a nice, sunny day here in NJ. I was able to spend more time outside, cleaning leaves off of my black-eyed Susans. I started cleaning the porch a bit too. That needs lots of work but I would like to have it set up so I can read outside when it is nice. Gary, Cait, and I took the pups for a walk. Ray and W did great, J is starting to get into her "I don't wanna go past that third house" mode. We broke out Cranium last night. Gary and I beat the kids by like 1 turn. Cait and I are running down to the FP. I am taking Scott's car since it hasn't been driven in 2 weeks.
The weather is going to be rainy today so it will be an inside day here.

Hope that all of you are feeling great!

Gratitudes:
- family games
- that my family is healthy
- for all of the front-line workers- grocery/medical/utility workers

Kay- glad that you didn't blow away in the wind and that you were able to rescue the swing. Did the winds ever die down? I saw the pics of the apple cobbler, looked delish! I can only imagine how good the house smelled. :hungry:
So happy that you had a nice "visit" with DD. Your gratitudes are lovely!

Nancy- Bet you were able to get a nice walk in with Luther yesterday as long as you could find him and that he wasn't on the cabinets! I am happy that your sister is doing well but can't imagine how strange it must have been for SIL!
Not a good time for allergies, right??

Rae- Oh no, poor Jen! How is she holding up? And you, you must be worried sick. All of my thoughts are with you all. I hope that you were able to scrap or play with Taz to help your mind settle. I wish I could help in some way. Please let me know if you need any help here.

Trudy- Did you get all of the groceries you needed yesterday? Hope that it was a successful trip. I can't imagine how happy you must have made Linda. So sweet!
That is great that Jonah is home, my brother called yesterday and has been very busy with Christopher. My SIL is working from home she works for Bayer- and has been busy nonstop. Kids need to burn off so much steam!

KAT!!!!!!!!! Hi sweetie!!!!!! How are you? I see you still have your birthday outfit on from few years back, thank you for stopping in!! xoxo!

Felis- Time is really strange, I thought for sure it was Monday! Sure, why not? Makes no difference at all anymore LOL I hope that you get your page uploaded for Earth Hour.
The game is a lot of fun, right? It is confusing to read through the thread but fun! yeah, no idea where Cait gets her perfectionism from... Nope, not from me!

Better get rolling along so I can get to the FP and then home to decontaminate LOL

I kept thinking that yesterday (Friday) was Saturday all day. One day seems like another and the only way I keep track is when I turn the computer on and it shows the day of the week along with the date. Some mornings I forget to look at the DAY...

Woke up to freezing temp this morning. Brrrr... expecting high winds again today - but not as bad as they have been. I am leaving the swing on its side until the winds are down. Don't think we will get any snow but may get rain. Dark clouds are scudding by right now. Will leave the insulated drapes closed to help keep the house warm. Looks like a good day to cuddle up with a good book and a cup of coffee or hot tea.

I didn't cook yesterday - just couldn't get in the mood. BTW... thanks for all the nice comments on my apple cobbler photos. It was worth the effort and brought memories of helping my grandmother make hers... no recipe just add ingredients until the cobbler topping "looked right"!

I think all my busy days had caught up with me as I feel asleep in my recliner last evening while I was reading. So I have decided to really take the day "off" and just laze the day away. I am caught up on my CT work [until after April 1st] so can relax on that front.

Rae, so sorry to hear about Jen. Will be hoping that she only has a light case and recovers quickly. Glad you will making sure she has food and other supplies. I know it is hard to not be with her but you are being smart.

Trudy, hope you were able to get what you needed on your shopping trip.

KAT... great to see you popping in!

Chris, have been LOL over some of the 'Lies' being told in your game.

Well the coffee cup is empty so going to grab a refill and get dressed.

good afternoon - rain here so I am not out with Luther. My DH does not mind rain so he was out with Luther. Not much else going on. Had frozen pizza for dinner. Not cooking this weekend. But there is plenty to eat. Watch only a bit of the news just to keep up. Not much else going on.

Chris playing games with the kids and winning congrats! Yes did have a great walk with Luther we got near 70s and Luther just loved it as he came home and spent a lot of time outdoors. Glad you got your dogs out for a walk! Hope you get your trip to FP done before the real rain comes.

Kay have fun on your day to laze! Enjoy the book!

Trudy hope you got all you needed. They seem to be showing old games but there are a few where Boston loses so I am sure your MG does not need to see that again. I know I sure don't want to see my Devils lose again. I really did like those new colors so not surprised they sold so fast.

Rae so sorry to hear about Jen. It is good that you DH and Jen have you! Take care to stay well for them.

Hi Kat always good to see have people drop in.

Felis that is always the pits when a page is deleted but maybe it was meant to be done again. Have fun!

Grateful for
all who are going above and beyond
for family healthy
for you all!

Good morning girls!
I'm so proud as we joined to the Earth Hour!!! After all these nerves and argues, my family saw at the news, that this year, because of all people in home, the radio that traditionally support the wwf will have new acoustic concert. And they was, oh yes we do this every year, let's join! I'm murmuring for days, but nooo when the news said we do it. However it was nice and fun. Traditionally we light candles and listen one very antique radio player, which have very low charge needs battery. Also we switch off the whole electricity not only the lights. I post the page about a green idea, just to found that one of the used kit is not at O anymore. :smash: Anyway I left it, as I'm not counting points.

Gratitudes:
my dad's foresighted, that save us from hard situation, now with the shopping restriction madness
that my family is healthy
for you all!

Chris, the perfectionism is not from you :pound:! Why I have so lack of enthusiasm to gardening this Spring? We traditionally plant something for the Earth Hour, but I left dad to do it. I want to say reading your post I get inspired, but no, nope, watching all that mud out there, I don't wanna go out. I think I'm explained this before, but at most houses here have guardian dog, which stay only at the yard he guard, no walks or meeting strangers. J sounds as this type. But he's not aggressive, so hmm...

Kay, enjoy your lazy day and the book!
Nancy, not cooking weekend sounds as a happy time! Oh, so bad about the rain!

Today's breathing is going to be sending healing light for Jen. When you breathe in, imagine white, healing light coursing through your body and when you exhale, send that light to Jen. Wrap her in that healing light, like a shimmering blanket. One more breath... and we wish Jen health and love.

*sighs* *yawns* *sighs again*
I am tired today. I do so much better physically, mentally, emotionally when the sun is shining. I see all you nodding! Is the sun shining by you? It is not in NJ and it looks like we won't see much of it in the upcoming week.
But it is what it is, I will have to make my own sunshine. I am impressed with all of the photos I have seen of people using sidewalk chalk, teddy bears in windows, and soon to cheer up people as they walk past. I have window markers and am thinking git might be fun to decorate (the top of) my front window. No point in doing the entire thing since it gets covered in doggie nose prints. I am not sure what I should do. Any suggestions?

FP had a good score-- another roll of TP :whoo: , some more ground turkey and a huge bag of shredded cheese that will be for burritos tonight. I am not in much of a mood to do anything fun or creative so cooking might be a nice option. I think I am going to paint the DR this week. If it is cloudy/drizzly, I won't be able to be outside much so the painting is a good option.
I am disappointed in the stimulus package that was done last week. My kids won't get anything since we claim them as dependents. I know that they were hoping to get something since Caitlyn lost her babysitting jobs and Scott doesn't know if he will have the job that he was promised to start May. I wish I could give them what Gary gets but we kinda need that too, especially since I am not cleaning. What a mess it all is. $1200 doesn't get very far in NJ, that is for sure.
Anyway, I am grateful for everything that I have, that I am lucky to have parents and ILs that help. That the local churches still have food pantries open. That I still have about a week's worth of TP and several weeks of food. A roof over my head, clean water, oil in the furnace. It is all good.

Today is me trying to organize for the week. (wish me luck!) I have filing/paperwork that needs to get done. Food also needs to be organized. I always hate throwing out food but now it seems even more aggravating. That is about it. I should really grab my crocheting. I had been working on a shawl to bring on the cruise but dropped that once I knew we weren't going. I should suck it up and just work on it- just because. ;)

Gratitudes:
- my kids. OMG, they make me laugh and I have no idea what they are talking about most of the time. But they are so funny.
- Gary made his penna and vodka last night and wow, it was delish!!!
- wine that comes in a box so I never have to feel guilty about lots of empty bottles hahaha!!

Kay- I am sorry that you are feeling the strange effects of time/non-time too but I am relieved as all heck that I am not alone LOL
were you able to snuggle and read yesterday? I bet you needed that. My family keeps telling me that I should do the same but I can't seem to be able to "do nothing." Maybe that's my life lesson with lockdown? If you ask me, apple cobbler counts as a meal- it had whole grains and fruit, two of the food groups.
The Lies came was a lot of fun, I will have to remember it for the next party!

Nancy- I hope that the weather is somewhat better down by you than it is in the mountains here. That is nice that DH can take Luther out if it is rainy. So what are you going to do about our "Offical Travel Advisory?" WTH is DT doing? SHM. It is crazy- who in NY/NJ/CT has been traveling for the last few weeks, we are the states listening to or governors! Gah!
Thankfully, I made it home form the FP before it rained heavy. I only needed to use the wipers a couple of times, which was good since I didn't realize that Scott doesn't use the Auto mode on his headlights. No that I think i would get pulled over for that, but still:D
That sounds fun that you can pick and choose the games you want to watch so you can only see the winning ones.

Felis- Congrats!!!! I am so happy that you did Earth Hour! I will have to see your page too. I am glad that your dad was able to get you stocked up on food too.

I need more coffee- anyone want a cup? :tea:
xoxo

If we have to stay around our house, I am glad the weather is nice. We are already in our pool! I am pretty lonely. DH was potentially exposed to the virus so we are living apart until we pass the quarantine. He comes over during the day, but it also works out becuz he works from home and he set up a nice office in his mom's house while she is with her daughter.

My grandson was born on March 12 @27 weeks of age. He is in the NICU, but we are not allowed to visit. Only mother and dad are allowed. Boo hoo. He is doing wonderfully! Born 11.5 inches and 1 lb 6 oz he is now 12.9 inches and 1 lb 11.2 ounces!!! My daughter is successfully able to pump breat milk and he is being fed that through a tube. Modern technology is wonderful. When I was pregnant with my daughter, she tried to come from day 1 and almost came at 22 weeks. I really didn't want her to take after me!

Take care everyone!

Good day - the weather here today sucks in that it is grey and misty and heavy rain is on the way. I am so glad though that we got out with Luther in the am. Saw very few people out mostly dog walkers and joggers. Last night my son and DH spent a lot of time trying to find restaurants that were open and do pick up or delivery. We finally settled on River and Rail a Mexican restaurant. Yummy food and plenty of leftovers for today. Today I am watching a repeat of the USA/Canada Women's Gold Medal game. It is fun as the USA finally win but if I remember it goes to a shoot out. Watched the Gov. of NY give his daily update. He is calm and gives the facts. But the most interesting is what he said about his states budget and what the stimulus package does not include. And yes Chris it does nothing for college students. And yes the RI governor was a bit over reactive but Trump is leading the way by placing state vs state. Not much else going on. Just waiting for 8pm to watch Outlander.

Chris glad the FP was so good. Burritos are good and you don't have to be creative. Awesome of your DH to cook.

Sharon congrats on the birth of your grandson. So glad he is doing so well. Enjoy the pool.

Felis that is great that you all did your Earth hour. Congrats that your Dad got you all stocked up on food. Have a great day.

waving to all.

Grateful for getting out with Luther
Grateful for my son and DH bringing home dinners for the weekend.
Grateful for all those first responders.

Hi ladies... I am late getting here, not because I was too busy LOL. Just have not been in a very good mood lately! Seems the lack of socializing is really starting to bother me! I don't know why? :noidea: I mean I am not a really social person to begin with! I think that I am missing my routine more than anything. No swimming, no hiking and DH can't go to far for walks as his dam knees are hurting so much! So like Nancy the only thing I am doing today is waiting for 8pm so I can watch Outlander LOL. DH is doing the taxes so I wonder how much we will have to pay this year :mmph: Yesterday I was totally absent from here, but we went for a nice long drive and it was good to be out of the house! Today is sun and clouds but maybe we will get out for a short walk. House work and :washing: are the big exciting things today :bored:

:sorry: everyone, I just don't have it in me to do personals today, wish I could get out of this funky mood that I am in! I love you all though and hope you have a great day!

Good evening everyone. I have been offline mostly for a few days. I needed some time to unwind and try to destress as it was really getting to me. Other than walking Taz I pretty much just curled up with Taz in my chair and binge watched shows. Jen is still feeling sick but not dangerously sick, she can breath ok and the fever hasn't worsened. She is sleeping a lot, only awake a few hrs a day. She is checking in with me every day so I know she's ok. I've been taking to B on the phone every day too.

Getting out for walks with Taz has been good for me. Im looking forward to better weather and maybe going on some longer hikes with Taz during this isolation time.

I'll check in with you all tomorrow. Stay healthy. BFN
