Am I ready? Most likely not at all. I had a bunch of things that I wanted to get to yesterday but just ran out of time. I should be able to do most of that this morning. Gary is going to clean and vacuum the living room. I have to wash the wine glasses and make the cards for Father's Day and niece's grad. Make the deviled eggs. We did a bunch of decorating yesterday.
Since it is the Always Sunny in Philadelphia theme, a lot of the decorations are based on the show so not everyone is going to "get" them, but it's all good. We have Pin the Mittons on the Kitten with Ocular Pat Down Glasses as the blindfold. I created a picture of many cats in a wall, We have Danny DeVito wearing a lei. A Dayman top hot. Caitlyn made "Fight Milk" (eggnog), and Rum Ham
th

Should be fun!

I have to take the puppers outside., back soon!

Rae- I am happy that you had a good visit. I really hope that things look up soon for B. Really good to hear that you are finding ways to relax and de-stress with music and exercise and puppy kisses are the best for that :pupkiss:

Thanks for letting me know that I am not alone in the age disconnect.

Jean- I saw a few of those #resistancegeneaology posts too. Unless you are Indigenous, we are all immigrants. speaking of which, Caitlyn got her DNA results back. She is much more closely related genetically speaking to me than to Gary and Scott is closer to Gary than me. Cait is more Italian than Scotland/Ireland/England, and Scott is flipped the other way. Really neat!

Nancy- that jacket was too much. You know that she knew what she was doing. Someone who is a former "model" who only wears high high high-end fashion wouldn't just throw on a $40 jacket because it was the closest thing in her closet. Very calculated.
it is really cold right now and I am hoping that it doesn't rain, but if it does, it is all good.

Have a fab day/weekend! xoxo

Morning ladies... I was completely absent from here yesterday, I was busy getting my groceries and getting the house ready for perhaps the last visit from the grands before we have to say good-bye to them :hurt: It can't be true!! They arrived in time for dinner and we had a nice meal of hamburgers and fries for the kids and potato salad for the adults, I just had the burger with cheese of course and bacon and mushrooms :hungry: It was so good, my Gary is the King of the BBQ LOL. Today we are taking Isaac shopping for his birthday gift and probably hit the farm market too. Reservations for lunch at the Genoa Bay Restaurant and then supper here and brother Tom and SIL Veronica will join us, so they can say their good-byes.

Chris - I hope that all goes will with the final preparations for your big Party!! I also hope that the weather cooperates and the sun shines brightly on you all! Remember to have fun and enjoy all the visiting and games going on around you! I wish I could join you all! A luau party sounds like so much fun!

I am sorry that I won't be able to catch up with the others today, but know that I am thinking of all of you and hoping that you all have a wonderful weekend!! Off to make breakfast for everyone!

good morning - it is grey and I wimped out on a walk with Luther this am. But luckily my DH had fun with Luther. They had a great time so that is good. I am watching the world cup LOL. Just waiting for the NHL draft to continue which starts at 11am. Last night two of the kids I had seats with and I had bets on who the Devils would select in the first round. All of our potential picks were available but no the Devils selected a kid defenseman Ty Smith. LOL so no bets to pay off. Made a pork burger dish with an Asian twist and Chaz did not like but my DH and I did. Black garlic which seems like garlic spoiled but not. Very strange. I think my son was thinking burger and this was way different. Fun to try new things. Not much going on today as we are supposed to be getting rain but hoping for none for me and for you Chris and your party.

Chris yes that jacket was too much. Have fun at the party. Love the theme. Oh yea I too see me as younger. I have heard it said that all select an age and that is the age they think of themselves. My mom always cracked us up as we would be sitting at a restaurant and she would point out some older person and make a crack and we would mention that my mom might be the same age. She would then laugh. Again have fun at the party!

Rae so glad that things were better B. Sending more good vibes! Love that you are walking with Taz.

Jean some day I should do the DNA test. Would be fun.

Have a great day all!

I'm afraid to be happy. Every perfect day in my life is followed from terrible things that happens. I don't wanna talk about that and I know you have enough problems in our lives too, so I chose to be quiet.

Chris, I'm sure your party will be awesome anyway, but bad that can't be at the garden! Here is very cold too. About the mirror and your own reflection in it, at this book I mentioned before have absolutely the same scene, but in window. I like how Nancy is explain it!

Trudy, I know these last days before children to move will be bitter-sweet for you! Have fun with them and then come here to cry ;) ::grouphug.

Nancy, I'm sure your son is not liked this pork burger dish, only because of his different expectations. I seriously doubt that you can mess up some meal.

Jean, I was thought absolutely the same like this Genealogists group, but didn't said it before because it sounds me rude. But yea, if someone is so big 'idealist', why not be honest and left this land to its real owners the native americans/ indians (or how it is politically correct to be named?!) . For so young nation you have too short memory. But actually politics everywhere underestimate the call of blood. Uhh! Politic is such a dirt subject.
Love your weekly page, and I'll try to be back to the schedule to the end of the month. This deer photo is wonderful!

Rae, I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the classical music as much as I want. My british friends are much in with this subject and I'm always feels stupid in this kind of conversation. But I can't learn to recognize different musical works when they don't have vocals. Even I like to listen some of ours musicians as Vasko Vassilev, this stile remains unfamiliar for me. It's great to hear that you are find new way to relax! And hope to go on this birthday party, because you shouldn't keep your life on pause, It's not helpful for anybody.

Saturday was day for grocery shopping and the weekend's bigger cleaning. And today (because here is Sunday morning) I plan to make Compote/Conserves from my morello cherry.
Hugs and kisses to you all!

happy Sunny Sunday!

Looking back, I had a nice time at the party although I was 120% stressed while it was going on, especially right before. I was stressing, running late. Cait and Scott were bickering and she had a meltdown. at 1 pm, I was practically begging Gary to cancel it.

I am bummed, I didn't get many pictures, although I did get a few of Whisky wearing a lei. ha!!! My BFF got a couple of really good ones of us- knowing each other for 45 years.❤❤
The people who know the TV show got a kick out of the decorations and food ideas. I know I got a picture of Leah eating her spaghetti out of a bag LOL

All in all, in spite of being stressed and overwhelmed, I was happy that my friends were here and made me feel very loved.

Today is getting the house back in order. Then food shopping prep for tomorrow, No way in hell am I going to Shop Rite on my actual birthday :D

The sun is out and it looks beautiful so depending on what I get done, I might either do some scrapping or yard work.

Felis- I hope that every day you have smiles and joy! Enjoy your compote making today

Good morning!
It's looks like it's only two of us, Chris. Sounds as your party has big success, and I'm not surprised at all. I hope you wouldn't overwhelm yourself with the after cleaning! Ughh, sorry about the children fights! Unfortunately it looks like is something usual for every family life. I bet you wish they to was younger, so to can punished them, hmm, whit clean up all the party mess for example  .

I had a nice Sunday, and I'm in good scraping mojo. Right now waiting gallery dates to change, so to can upload one LO for good beginning of the week ;) . I was hoping yesterday to take some photos of my rose arch, for Rae's 52 challenge this month, but unfortunately this year roses not blooms as I expected. So will have to find new "special" subject. I guess this mean I have one more idea for the next month pages. :)

Hope that all ladies are had nice weekend! :cof3:
