Happy weekend, dear Oooos!
I have to make this as brief as I can so I can get started with the party prep. I did a lot yesterday, but still much more to do today. I got all of the cards made and gifts wrapped yesterday. At 4 pm, I realized that my nephew will be here and he is graduating from HS so I had to make him a card and write a check. Thank goodness, I remembered yesterday and not at the last moment today.

As of right now, the sun is out and it is going to get hot and humid. Gary is going to bring up some chairs to put outside on the patio. My only worry is about W trying to escape if the door is opened a lot. I will put the short leash on her so it might be easier to grab her is she starts to bolt.

I am also really far behind in Oscraps CT responsibilities which I need to catch up on today too. I thought that I would have had more time yesterday but no such luck.

Wishing you all a wonderful and relaxing weekend!

Nancy- your poor DIL, that must have been very extensive surgery for her. That was so sweet of you to be there for her and get food from the diner. When I had my wisdom teeth out, it was really bad with the one that was impacted and the percoset made me nauseous. I was terrified of throwing up and then I did. Ack... Hope that she feels better today.
Yay for your DH steam cleaning, it is always nice when you get help around the house.
We started watching How to Get Away with Murder on Netflix- lots of twists and turns in that. We are on Season 2.

Felis- happy day of the child! That sounds like a day that everyone in the world should celebrate! I was wearing my Mickey Mouse T-shirt and socks yesterday so maybe I was celebrating with you unknowingly. :cheer2:
Sounds like you, your sister and Tiny all had a nice time together. Enjoy the book sale, hope you get a lot of good ones.

Rae- (((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))) I am so sorry that you didn't have a good visit and that B is regressing in some ways. I truly cannot understand what a roller coaster you must be on. I am hoping that your next visit will be a happier one. I wish I could do something to cheer you up, but I know that I can't, just know that I am sending you so much love and support.

Hugs to all of you!

:hello: Ozies!! As per usual when I use my DIL's mouse to maneuver around this computer I end up losing my posts :gaah: I had a nice long post all ready to go and poof!!! Now its gone. Oh well I will wish you all a great day and please know that I think of all of you everyday and hate when I can't spend as much time as I would like with all of you! I need to get breakfast for my sweeties and then DH will soon be arriving, so I won't have much time to be on the site. I will try to get coupons out for the Challenge winners today though. I wish all of you a happy day and hopefully the sun is shining for all of you!

I survived!!! I am exhausted and sort of hurting all over but the party seemed to be a big success. I even had time to chat with everybody. The highlight, as always, was seeing my kids posing for pictures along with my BFF's kids. They really crack me up and I adore the fact that after 18+ years, they are still close in spite of so many other differences.

Yup, food was good, company was good, and whew- the dogs (W, I am looking at you!) all behaved.

Today will be putting away stuff, getting the house back in order but that is about it. It is going to be cool and rainy for the next several days so I am keeping my fingers crossed that my brain cooperates and I am able to spend some time scrapping!

Hmm, it just occurred to me that I really better take it easy and recoup my strength since it is now less than 3 weeks away from the next big party here. :faint:
Oh wow, Trudy is the only one who was here yesterday, I hope that the rest of you are having a wonderful weekend!

T- that is how I am when I am trying to use the kids' laptops for anything. I am horrible using the touchpad. Sorry that you lost your post~ have a blast with the kids!

Hugs and kisses to everyone! :humble:

Somehow never got here until now since June began. Friday two boxes of family history stuff and photos arrived from Texas. We did a brief viewing of it all and found one really helpful piece of paper on cousin's family. Yesterday I was at the historical society for genealogy meeting and class. Today my main plan is to inventory the boxes. Back on Thursday we had the best time! We had several places to go all close together. First we got birdseed before that store closed. Then to the East Coast Custard where we got really good frozen custard treats. From 6 to 8 pm we attended the Taylor Guitar Road Show at a Sam Ash music store. The store and Taylor had guitars of many, many variations and played them to demonstrate differences in playing and sound among the body shapes and wood types. It was fascinating. Then they gave away freebies and my name was called early enough that I got DH a set of strings for his guitar. After that the guitars were available for folks to try out in what they call the "petting zoo" phase of the program. When it was all over we went to a nearby restaurant that we like for steak dinners. Pretty simple stuff really, but so nice.

Chris, hurray! You made it through the "bash" and sounds like it was everything you wanted. Guess you have to rest up to face the next round of the life of Chris. Nice even W behaved.

Trudy, enjoy your time with the grands and your MG. Saw you got the monthly challenge rewards out, thanks for that. We'll enjoy it when you have more time back home.

Felis, I love your story of the day of the child and how you all enjoyed it. Chris is right, we could all benefit from doing some of that. Oh, yikes, the weeklies. I have week 21 assembled without the writing yet, but now I've got week 22 to do. How do these weeks keeps flying by?

Nancy, saw a little of the hockey last night and am surprised how little Vegas accomplished. We have the Cavs game 2 tonight. Still can't believe the ending of game 1. Hope your DIL is doing better and so nice she had you to help out.

Rae, hope you are holding up. Very sorry to hear you had a bad day with B. Thinking positive thoughts for all of you!

Just popping in for a quick hello. I'll be heading up to the hospital soon for the afternoon. Got my Costco shopping done this morning and laundry is in. I hope I have a good visit with B and we can watch a movie later. She's still regressing and the neurologist is wondering if she has started seizuring again. They will do an MRI tomorrow. Please pray for her, I'd appreciate it.

Chris - I'm not surprised your party went so well. It always works out, doesn't it? Hope you can take it a bit easy today.

Trudy - enjoy the family time.

Nancy - hope you are enjoying the hockey.

Felis, Jean and everyone else - hope you are all well.

I need to get off the computer now. Have a great day, everyone.
