@BoatLady Debby, that is *wonderful* news about your shoulder/no surgery!!! I hope the shots are working by the time you read this. Did you sleep any better since you had that done?
Hehe, when I was at the dentist, he kept using the phrase "post-menopausal" and I was thinking-- couldn't you just ask me if was Post-menopausal instead of assuming I am?

Did it take a while to notice any pain relief from the TENS machine? Gary borrowed a friend's years ago but it didn't make any difference for him. But he only used it for maybe a week or so so perhaps it is something that needs to be used often. I'd love to hear more about your experience with it if you don't; mind.
@vickyday Nope, all of my pets have always been inside only. The dogs go out on leads. There is a Japanese Maple (invasive and I wish I knew that when I planted it 20 years ago grr) in the middle of the lawn and the well pump is a few feet away. She's a ding dong that gets stuck between the two.
So glad that you slept better.
That is always the second phase when I throw my back out, pain radiates to my hips. Hang in there!
Pimento cheese? Ummm, that sounds a little hinky to me LOL I'm glad that you enjoy it and hope everyone had a wonderful evening at the concert!
For real!! I can't imagine what it will feel like to be above freezing and 50s sounds like t-shirt weather ATM LOL
I was telling Gary that I asked you about the pneumonia vaccine so we tend to react similarly to other vax's. Granted, every vaccine is different and every person is different but in my mind, if you didn't have a reaction, chances are that I won't. Messed up and non-scientific thinking? You bet, but if it gets me to the pharmacy, it's all good haha.
I wish we could have a fenced-in area of the yard for them but it's impossible and I know I'd hate it if we did. I'd also be happy to get rid of the Japanese maple but that's next to impossible too. An old friend gave me a sapling and I thought it was going to be one of those tiny maples. Nope, this thing just keeps growing and growing.
Anyway-- yup, dogs and their small brains and leads don't mix.
Your hand numbness might be from the way you are resting your elbow on the desk. That nerve that runs through the elbow can get trapped or inflamed and that will cause the numb/tingling feeling in your fingers. When I get that, I try to rest my elbow on a thin pillow for some cushioning and that and sometimes Voltaren gel will help.
How long did this lazy feeling last with your Gary? No errands or big projects yesterday or is he saving all that up for today?

One month for your brother's passing seems very long and very short at the same time. How close will Veronica be to you when she is back in Canada?
@scrap-genie That's fanatstic about DH and the Afib!
This is so like me too.

I like having my space- physical and mental. Have fun at today's potluck!
@Nonni F Hey Florentino!! Happy 2025 to you and the kitty fam too!
It's always awesome when you pop in, but try for more than once a year or so, please

No pressure... :

This cooped-up feeling makes me want to jump out of my skin but then when I think about going out in the cold, I am like Helllnoooo.
Always!!
It's a crummy club but we have great company! Just about everyone I know is this way. Some are a little more obsessive than others (me, my mom, my BFF, my DD. heh)
That is wonderful news!! Good luck with the interview!
And congrats to the Girls' B-Ball team! That's impressive to win by 25 points

Kudos to DH on having the fire ready for you when you got home ♥
HAGD!
