We made it! It's Friday!

This week has been boring, the same old dull routine. feeling kinda blah and monotonous. Until about noon yesterday. I had gotten home from cleaning for my friend when Cait asked if I would go with her to the derm appt. She was itchy and was concerned that she would be distracted driving an hour to the place. I had planned on making our Pretzel Spider in the afternoon so I had to calculate if I could get the dough started in the machine and finish up when we got home so it would be ready to eat around dinner time.
I had about 45 minutes to shower, grab lunch, call my mom, and get the bread machine set up before we had to leave.
Thank goodness I went with her. Caitlyn doesn't like to drive on highways (not super convenient living in North Jersey) so she had her GPS set to "no highways." We are halfway there when GPS tells her to take the left lane and dumps her onto Rt 17, a notoriously awful highway. I don't like driving on Rt 17. Aggressive NJ drivers, lots of merging, no one uses their signals (unless you count middle fingers as signals), chaos. If you think of a stereotypical NJ highway, Rt 17 is it.
The poor kid saw where she was and took the first exit she could, which was into a Land Rover/Jaguar dealership. Yes, we looked totally out of place! hahaha! She looked at me and all I said was yes, I will take over. ;) We get to the office and of course, she had no active hive. Of course.
She had some leftover swelling from ones active in the morning but nothing he could biopsy. pfft

As soon as we got home, I got the pretzel dough from the machine, made it into a spider, and popped it into the oven so we could decorate. The house is starting to look spooky! Yay!! I love Halloween!!

Today, I am making cookies to put in cute little autumn dishes to give as the b-day gifts for the Sept/Oct family birthdays tomorrow, and I make making Oreo Pudding for both tonight and tomorrow. Tonight I am going to a friend's house down the street to see a screening of Hocus Pocus 2. I had 5 days straight of boredom and now it feels like non-stop action.

HAGD!!

@LSlycord I just scrolled down and read through all of your posts. I am really so grateful that you didn't get any damage. Thank goodness you had the family all together and Jianna seems like she is a good fit for Sydney.
Good luck to Andie, I hope that they can figure out what is causing her to be "off."

@BrightEyes feel better!

@Cherylndesigns Thank goodness Steph is safe! I saw some photos of the Sanibel Causeway, how crazy. Any idea when Steph will be able to get back home?
Caitlyn checked in with Dani (in Orlando) and as of yesterday afternoon she was still staying at the resort but her apt in Orlando was fine. Whew.

@bcgal00 I was thinking of you, J and B, so much yesterday. I can't imagine that ache in your heart, that was really so sweet of Jen's boss.
How are you feeling today post carbs and post-scan/biopsy? More gentle hugs coming your way

@vickyday I am really glad to hear that your sister is ok, hope that you didn't end up with too much wind and rain. That stinks about the potential mess the trees and branches will do to the clean area

@taxed4ever Thank you for popping in, I have been wondering how things have been going. Good luck with SIL's move/selling of her current place. Maybe once she is moved in, the two of you can carpool until everything of your IL's is taken care of.
Have they put an offer on a house?
Good luck keeping everything going on in your life all straight in your head. You got this!

Love to you all!

You should turn your oreo pudding into dirt pudding with spiders and worms coming out of the dirt!

So, I want to know how y'all get product from the store during this sale! I tried to get Vicki's new kit, but the store wouldn't accept the team code. It's not like I need it to get layouts done for the month, LOL, but it looks great for my heritage photos I've been scanning!

Anywho.......glad everyone is safe, if not totally sound, after the weather conditions yesterday.
Hugs to all!
Have a wonderful Friday! Even though we are not going to the woods with our chicken stew/chili cooking, I still have to fix everything to eat at the church. That prep all begins today!

Good morning. Nothing much going on here today. I've uploaded a few layouts...have I said how much I love this month's Color Play...and I'm working on updating my Cheery-O thread! Taking Andie back to the vet...she is better but still not quite right. Then Syd wants to go to the AT&T store to check out the phones before she goes back and Shaun definitely wants to take a look. I wouldn't be surprised if the girls head back this afternoon...or maybe in the morning. Who knows.

Syd has to have her 4 year plan done before she signs up for classes so she shared that with me. She was debating about getting finished in 3 years or taking 4 years and get a computer science minor. Since her tuition is fully paid for 4 years, she decided to go ahead and get the minor and then, since that means she will only have 2 required classes each semester of year 4, she can begin her masters degree at the same time and get 12 of the credits needed for that. Only time she needs to take a class in the summer will be this first summer and she could come home for the summer and take the class at the college nearby. Then every summer forward will be available for internships. It's a good plan...we will see how close to reality it is.

That is pretty much it at our house today!

@faerywings I cannot believe that poor Cait didn't have anything that they could biopsy! To go through all of that...and then no help! Couldn't they work her in when she has them so they can figure out what is going on? I'm sure that's asking way too much! Glad that you were able to go with her and very glad that you have Halloween out ahead of you now! October should be good.

@vickyday hope that the weather doesn't get too bad where you are. What a fun time you have planned for this weekend with your church friends!

Have a great day ladies!

Good morning. I can't sleep so I decided to get up. This coverage on TV is killing me. Chris, Steph doesn't know when she'll get home. Thank goodness she has wonderful friends who never want her to leave, anyway. They were getting a little grumpy yesterday - no ac and no power yet. It was pretty out, so they sat outside for a while yesterday. I still can't wrap my head around the devastation. I know they'll rebuild, but it breaks my heart.

Chris @faerywings glad you got Cait to the dermatologist safely. I don't like to drive on busy roads anymore and isn't that typical that she had no active hives?

I'l try to stop back in - full of nervous energy still - I just need to keep my mind busy. I have had a lot of layouts to upload - they all went live in the store last night. LOL I need to get busy and get them all posted around social media as well as in our gallery.

Talk later and happy Friday.

Just a quick in and out again today. No temp and the body aches are getting better. Think it might another 1-2 days before I am over this. Sleeping alot but know that is the body taking care of itself. Thank goodness I had worked on the CT LOs before I had the booster so they were ready when the release date came. Managed to get them posted. Time to grab something to eat then back to recliner to read (actually to nap). Hope I am better tomorrow as that is the 1st day of the Albuquerque International Hot Air Balloon Festival. We usually have balloons over our neighborhood most days during the festival. Would love to get more photos of them.

Glad to hear that our FL gals and family are okay.

Good morning ladies. I am tired and drained this morning and have a headache but I got thru the day yesterday. It was rough. Jen had a terrible day and we talked about how bad her depression is. I sure hope next year is easier for her. The next bad one will be Xmas and that'll be a big hurdle to get over. I will need to find ways to change our Xmas routine as Jen and I both agree we don't want to sit around with gifts all morning like we used to. We have some time to figure it out. Next year will be a bit easier I'm sure but this first year of loss is so hard.

Went for my scan last night. That was interesting. I'd never had contrast dye inserted in my arm before and that was a weird feeling. Also the times the voice said to hold my breath and don't swallow seemed to last forever. Hopefully I'll have biopsy and scan results within a week or so and fingers crossed there is no cancer or tumors. Best case scenario is a messed up immune system and it'll just be a matter of surgery to remove the node.

Today I have CT stuff to do, maybe get the blueberry muffins made that I just didn't have the energy for yesterday and get out with the dogs later.

I might feel more energetic later (after more coffee) but I sure feel sluggish right now. Good thing I don't have to go to work :)

@faerywings Good thing you were with C to drive.

@taxed4ever Sounds like things are moving along with the IL's. Be careful how much you are doing, don't overdo it. Get help if you need it. Glad your SIL has found a place.

I need to get more coffee and try to wake up. BFN
