Its Friday!! And it is my MIL's birthday! Happy Birthday Mom C!!!

Does that counteract the pouring buckets of rain today? Maaaaay-be! Friday + Birthday + Coffeeeeee?? Yup, that does it! Its a good day! Plus, I am working so that means $$ (my car's gas tank is starving!) so woot woot for me!!!!

How is everyone this morning? Happy for the weekend? I am looking forward to sleeping a bit late tomorrow- hopefully not waking up before the sun starts to peek.

I am so torn between wanting my kids to drive and not wanting that at all. This past week, as well and the next several days, I feel like Mom's taxi service. The worst drive is Scott's GF who lives 40 minutes away. Most everyone else is in town and the max is about 15 minutes away. Oh! THat reminds me, I have to clean the inside of my windshield- it was so foggy that it was hard to see when I was driving last night. I don't like to drive in the dark- I have night blindness and I can't judge distances very well. (TIP: You don't want to ride me me at night if I don't know where I am going :car: ) The dirty windshield made it so much worse.

Does anyone have any tips on how to keep it clean? I tried anti-fog stuff, windex, vinegar and newspaper, but it always seems so "smeary."

Finish It Friday:
I have a stack of newspapers I have the need to read. I tried to switch my subscription from 7 days to just weekends, but it was the same amount of money. News Junkie that I am, I figured I would just keep on reading them- but now they seem to pile up more than anything. I should just give them to Cait for Bunny's cage.....

Have a wonderful day!!!!! Love you all!!!

Good morning Linda S! Yes, soup was good! Have fun chaperoning the trip today! Don't forget your camera.

Hi Laurie- how is the workout this morning?

Kim- I had to take my DD and her BFF to a wake for a 14 yo girl 2 weeks ago and and it was brutal and I didn't even know the girl. I hope that you are able to go for the sense of closure and faith that I know you have. But if not, I am sure that your prayers will help. I'll be thinking of you.

And woo hoo! Yeah for short girls! :)

And Terry is teeny too? (Say that 3 times fast!). I think we are gonna need to see a pic of Terry and the RV!
Phyllis- I think I live in yoga pants and hoodies when I am not working. When I am working, its leggings and long sleeved t-shirts! Man, I am a fashion statement waiting to be discovered (on What not to Wear!!!)

Oh Jen, I could not stop laughing, but then I felt horrible for laughing when you had all of those sickies at home.
I promise to try and not whine about the cold in NJ when you are going to be way colder, but I doubt I will be successful.

How many brothers and sisters and IL's do you have?

Heather- hi!! And isn't Jen a trip??

::grouphug to everyone

Good morning ladies! Chris...((hugs))...thank you! It hadn't even crossed my mind about the camera. I was focused on the sack lunches, etc. So glad that you were my first stop this morning!

Chris, the answer is ORIGINAL Windex and Bounty paper towels. then you take the car outside and clean the windshield in the sunshine, where you can see all the smears. i hear ya about driving at night. i have a pair of sunglasses with yellow lenses that i wear if i have to drive at night. it takes the glare out of the lights and makes it easier to see. really! of course, you'll LOOK like an idiot, like i do, driving around in sunglasses at night, but WTH. BTW, the rain coming your way (if you're getting it from my direction) is a TON of rain. wow, did it pour here yesterday.

yesterday i test-drove my new MINT floor cleaner. it's slow, but it's fine. not wild about it's navigation system. too complicated. but it's OK for "maintenance" cleaning on tile and wood. i'm looking for things to do work for me, as i get older every minute. i think taking Hubby's dress shirts to the cleaners is going to fail. honestly, what CRAPPY work people do pressing shirts. i can't see paying $2 per shirt when i have to re-iron half of them when i get them home. :hurt: wonder if there's an automated COOK i can buy someplace....:help:

enjoy your Friday. do something you love.

Morning ladies!

Trying to catch up on what Chris wrote above and it's really rather funny when you have not read the day before notes and try and figure out what is going on with everyone!:)..............I know I just stop in more often and check things out in this post!!

Making plans to go spend some time with my mom. Think she is more excited my son can make the road trip. She is 95 and her favorite person is a 21 year old who teases her constantly and she loves it!!

Chris- Hope the weather clears up and I so understand about those kids driving! Enjoy the birthday!

Linda- Enjoy your day and enjoy your trip!

Off to check the gallery and post the new AnnaLift and .................plenty of To Do stuff like everyone else!:)

Have a great Friday to all!

Well...after only 2 hours of sleep the night before....I got a huge 9.5 last night...I seriously got out of bed this morning staggering and tripped...I got Jaiden up and carried her to my bed so I could put my clothes on, I lost my balance and fell on the night stand, backwards...I have a bruise on my big ole A$$ now....Mike wanted to know if I had been up all night partying...little does he know..we did that the night before...:pound: I am just pathetic!!

Okay...I found a memory foam cover for the seat of my bike (stationary) and I dragged it upstairs yesterday (well made Mike drag it) and I am starting my riding again....When someone needs to exercise to lose weight, why why why do they make these seats on these bikes to fit a tiny little rear that is about a size 2?? MY BIG OLD SIZE 12 doesn't like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cover helped quite a bit....but I am still looking for a "WIDE LOAD" seat to go on the thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My goal...ride like the wind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lose 30 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found out I will be able to go to the funeral tomorrow, but I do have to work right after and we're repaving our library parking lot. (Why they decided to do it over the weekend when we barely have enough parking anyway is beyond me.) So either it will be really chill because no one will be able to find parking and they'll just go home OR everyone will be super cranky because they had to ::gasp:: walk a block! I know it's going to super hard to be my normal, unflappable self so maybe I can talk someone into letting me stay in the back with the books my whole shift.

My sister and I made a collage of photos that his Grandma had asked us to make for the family and I couldn't get it done fast enough. I'm just kind of in this state where I don't want to think about it. I just want to say my prayers for the family and do anything else.

Jen - I hope I can be that lighthearted when I have five kids with the flu! Gave me a much needed smile! (Ok, actually I just hope never to have five kids with the flu, but if I do...)

stopping in to say hi!

I made it just fine with the RV yesterday. And yes--I am a teeny weeny little thing. Only 5' tall. I must have looked funny driving this monster RV. Did ok because I didn't have to stop for gas, didn't stop to eat, and didn't have to stop to pee. So--there you have it!

Chris-kids driving. I'll pray for you. I always worried my head off when my kids got their drivers license. To put it off as long as I could, they could not get a drivers license until they had a job.

Jen--I cracked up at your post about all the sick little ones. Seriously, hope they are all better soon.

Donna--have fun with your mom!

Phyllis--have no idea what a MINT is but if it has to do with house cleaning, I don't like it. I can think of so many things I'd rather do than clean and do laundry. I put my husband to work every summer while he is off to clean the grout in the tile--the old fashioned way on his hands and knees. The rest of the year--I just live with it and go golfing instead!

Laurie--good job on the work out. I missed yesterday but plan on going in a few minutes.

Last night my son, his wife, and my precious little 2 year old grand daughter arrived for the weekend. So excited to see the little one--who cares about the son :). Got up early with Brenna (grand daughter) this morning and she and I had breakfast and then went outside to play. We were outside at 6:30AM--hope we didn't wake the neighbors.

I'm going to work just a little bit today and spend the rest of the day playing with Brenna--maybe go to the park if it doesn't rain. If it rains--McDonald's! Football game tonight--if no rain. I won't sit in the rain unless I'm watching one of my kids play.

Hoping Jonathan (youngest son) comes home tomorrow to visit his brother--and me too. It's always fun to have them in the house together bantering back and forth. Although, it doesn't take long and they start arguing---like when they were kids. Keep in mind they are 20 and 38---funny when they start at it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

NANA go BOOM! hope you didn't break anything!

i stopped doing stationary biking because of the seats. they seem to fit right between the bones in that area and are sososo uncomfortable. i swear i saw a big bike seat online somewhere, to take care of women being uncomfortable on a regular seat that hits us in all the wrong places. do some Googling and you might come across it. you just change it up with the one that's already on the bike.

Hi everyone... I'm baaaaccckkk!!! What a wonderful trip we had!! And the best part of the trip was stopping in Bellevue Washington to pick up my new IMac at the apple store there! Yippeee I am a proud owner of a new computer and one that I have wanted for forever!! So now I have to get all set up and get my photoshop installed (Mac version) and see if I can get my external hard drive formatted for my new Mac. I'm so excited I don't know where to start. Thank goodness my Son is coming next weekend and he can help me with the hard stuff! My old clunker of a computer will be cleaned and put in the suite downstairs. Hubby will probably use it as he does not like change too much LOL. Hopefully he will adjust to the new Mac and love it as much as I do! So much to catch up on at the "O" that I am not sure where to start, but will have loads of photos to scrap from the holiday. Off to get groceries and then hopefully spend the day playing here. Missed all of you!!
