Happy Friday everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Shhhhhh.......... I have a secret. I am not allowed to share on FB, but guess what?? She won't see it here!

Its Caitlyn's birthday!!!!!!

My goofy girl doesn't like b-days and doesn't want a fuss made over her. So I am *banned* from posting on FB, or for saying out loud in front of people. I can't even tell her boyfriend. I keep telling her that he is going to be mad at her when he finds out. I asked if she wanted him to come for dinner today or to the family party tomorrow, and she I about feel on the floor when she said he has no idea its even her b-day.
How weird is she?? (She gets it from her dad LOL)

But I am happy for her and I am proud of her every day, so I have to share my joy here instead.

I am also joyful that it is Friday, even though I have to work full day today and will be busy tomorrow too. I really overdid it yesterday. I cleaned a 4 BR, 2/1 Bath house yesterday, then had to come home and do my own. My SIL is very allergic to my cats to I have to really get in the nooks and crannies. Not to mention its been a loooooooooooooooon time since I clean under the microwave and behind the toilets. I am really good at cleaning to give the illusion of clean hahahah!!

Today is another big house, (this lady had a kitchen to die for, its huge!! And has cabinets and space and its all open!! My kitchen is tiny and cramped and only has a few cabinets- one of which I literally have to crawl into if I want something in the back, and only *one* drawer. Seriously. BAD kitchen). Anyway, got work, babysitting, my mom is coming up to bring me Cait's special dinner- cauliflower and Brie soup. Wrap the rest of the fam's gifts and start cooking for tomorrow. :faint:

I need a drink! Its only 6 am!!! :partywine

I guess if I want to get any of that done, I'd better start with :tea: Lots of :tea: :tea: :tea:

xoxoxo!!!!!

Good luck with your Garage Sale Nana!!!!! Enjoy the time with you Mom, that is kind of how I go into the ones I do too. Opportunity to chat with my parents, make a bit of money and get rid of *stuff*!

How did Jaid-a-Bug do at school? Must be so hard for her to get a handle on it all, but thank goodness she has you!!!

Laurie- wow, that was a lot on your list too! Hope you git it all done. Have a great day today!

Phyllis- 39*! Noooo!!!!! Keep that cold air away from me! I looked for the turkey soup recipe and I can't find it. I know I have it somewhere, so I'll keep looking.

Terry- I;ll take 90* any day!!! The hotter the better for me. Hope today is a great day!

Kim- how did Isaac do yesterday? I hated it when they would be fussy like that and it was impossible to settle them, or get anything done. Scott had colic as a baby and he lived in a sling for months. I should scan and scrap some pics of him in it, he was like a little baby kangaroo!LOL

Heather- do you have a kohls near you? I obviously don't have the same issues as you do with shopping in a real store, so I do a lot of shopping at kohls. whatever doesn't fit/work out, I can return it at the store super easy I think that they have one of the easiest return policies ever.
Did you get lots of scrapping done? Wish I could, I really have had the "bug" but not the time. :(

jen---- What a morning, but how awesome that you keep such a great sense if humor with it. I guess you don't have a choice do you? I remember one of my kids getting stuck in the toilet like that, you don't want to laugh, but you just can't stop!

I would rather give birth once a week for a month straight then get groceries!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this why you are on #10?? Wouldn't have been easier to just send your hubby??? :pound:

Love to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cauliflower? Cauliflower?! CAULIFLOWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????
Aren't you supposed to be nice to people on their (non-)birthdays?!

Anyway - do not tell her happy birthday from me, ok? And I'll do my best to not celebrate her. (which you peeps also seem to do ... I mean - cauliflower???!?!?)

Plans for today:
- genealogy
- meet DH at work - force him to shop groceries with me
- spend all evening in the sofa watching TV

Well--woke up to all this banging and clanging coming from the kitchen. DH was making a ton of noise. Walked out to the kitchen and he is cleaining out the refrigerator. Oh my! what's wrong with him--cleaning the refrigerator for me? No such luck---he's cleaning it out ok. moving everything from it to the garage refrigerator. We have a small refrigerator for drinks, water, over flow. Good thing we have it. Wondering if I'll be able to get someone out to look at my refrigerator on a Friday. Probably not---we only have one repair place in this town. Hope it is not dead and I have to buy a new one.

Have an appointment in the city today with the surgeon. should be the last follow up appointment. While I am in the city--am going to Kohl's to spend my Kohl's cash.

Chris--I love to shop Kohl's for the same reasons. Only I usually shop online. I hate any kind of shopping and try to do everything online.

Had our first critique session yesterday in that online class I am taking. Wow--you really have to be brave to put your work out their to be criticized by 18 ladies. It was great though and everyone was supportive and constructive.

I'm thinkiing I just might take the whole day off.

Football game tonight.

lOve the O!
It is morning O fam- I slept like crap last night and ended on the couch again and I know I have a full schedule at work- I should sleep good tonight! I did do my workout, and enjoyed a second cup of coffee in the hot tub watching the last of the stars disappear. I think it is going to rain tonight, but if not, I will be back in that hot tub. I have got to figure out how to fall asleep before my husband... just saying!

'morning. it IS morning, right? i woke up feeling so weird. i went to BED feeling weird, too. allergic. swollen, but i really was NOT swollen. :frusty: dunno what's going on. pass the Benadryl....

Chris, kids are so weird. who KNOWS why they think how they think. i would have (and still would) give a lot for ANYONE to pay some attention to my BD. my family was never one to make a deal out of it. my mom would buy a cake or make her pineapple cheese pie for me, we'd sing, and that was it. my husband's family had a tradition (German? dunno)of the Birthday Person stabbing the cake with a knife before cutting it. sounds weird to me. one time my MIL iced a "cake" made of styrofoam as a joke, and when my BIL tried to take the knife out, the whole cake lifted up with it. they all thought it was hysterical. :der: i know...... i'm pretty sure Cait will learn to love being celebrated at some point. i need to know your method of making things look clean when they're really not. i sometimes look at everything that needs done, think about all the work it's going to be and how crappy my muscles are going to feel when i'm done, and just decide NOT to do it.

Terry, he was not cleaning the refrigerator, then? :becky: hope you can get this sorted out and not have to get a new one. we have an extra fridge in the basement, too, and i really couldn't live without it!

Laurie, does you husband snore? i can't imagine sleeping with a snorer. it would be impossible. my husband does occasionally, and i just give him a nudge and he stops. i always wonder if I snore!! my husband sleeps like a log, so i could snore like a buzzsaw and he wouldn't notice! hope you have a decent day, notwithstanding.

Eva, you make me laugh every time you write something.

i have no plans for today, beyond doing the post in the Forum for Anna's new stuff. Chris, you should LOVE it. it's all about FAIRIES!!

have a good Friday. do something you love.

Oh busy Friday. I really need to get some stuff done that I have put off all week. The baby was up at 3:30 this morning - not fun, but I know I'm spoiled that he sleeps through the night already.

I still haven't finished my work for church this weekend. I'm having the weirdest block about it, but it has to be done today because we're going to the lake!

Twice a year my husband's family goes to the lake to hang out with their "adopted" extended family. I love them. They're more family than family. When we got married NONE of my extended family came, and only some of my husband's, but most of the adopted extended family was there. Having Isaac with us might make things a little bit interesting, but I am looking forward to it anyway.

See y'all Monday!

Hi everyone !!!
The week-end is near (it's 5:30 PM here) ... finally !
what crappy week at work ! tons of problems popped up that have to be solved yesterday ... I've spent a hectic week trying to put some action plans up ... next week will be busy with completing the actions. Hope I don't get to many new issues next week or it'll turn into a nightmare !!

Chris - yup she's strange in a way :) I mean, she's a bit young to not-like her birthday isn't she ? And yes her boyfriend is probably going to be pissed off :mmph: ...
Happy giving-birth anniversary to you

Eva - I totally agree about the culiflower, but then we've already established Cait is strange  so it might just be her favourite treat LOL
Would you force your hubby to do my shopping too ? (nope just kidding : DH does most of the shopping and cooking at home ... )

Terry - hope your appointment goes well. Great about the critique session being nice !

Laurie - if you find out a sure way to fall asleep before your husband, please share !! hope you have a better night tonight

Phylis - ugggh I hate it when I feel off like that. Hope you feel better soon ! Can't wait to get a look at this new Anna stuff ... it's always so inspiring !

Jen - shhhhh you're not supposed to know about it !!

Kim - hope you have a great time with the family at the lake !!

repairman came out to look at the refrigerator. He declared it officially dead! Went to Sears to look for a new one. Man--they are expensive. Since I have a specific opening that it has to fit, the selection was narrowed down real quick----to 3. Not much to choose from, huh.

Anyway--they don't have it in stock and all three of them won't be in for 1-2 weeks. Going to take hubby by to see which one he likes best when he gets off work. Ugh.......what a way to start the weekend.

Had to cancel the appointment with the surgeon since I had to wait for the repairman.

Think I have to take the day off now---too much stress!! I hate spending money on stuff like this! Not even fun.....but the bright side----refrigerators are more fun than buying tires!
