I am going to open this up quickly, to say good morning and that I love all of you, my dear O-Fam!!

We didn't have internet again this morning, and then when I was up in Cait's room, right before we had to leave on the bus, Jaida decided that she wanted to poop on her rug. As I was running down the hall/stairs to get her outside, I realized waaaay too late I had stepped in it on my way out. My day yesterday got turned upside down and it looks like today is starting that way too.

But I couldn't not post here and tell you all how much you mean to me. For Americans today, it is somber, but it is also so darn important to let the people you love know that you do.::grouphug

Gotta run, be back later on!!!

I am back again, super lightning bolt quick. I have to pay bills and I really don't wanna!!!

Trudy- we got so much rain yesterday and today it is freezing. OK, so 63* isn't freezing to most people but it is to me ha!
So glad that you are having pretty weather! I was able to find something cute for Leah but I am still stuck on everyone else. Hope you had a good shopping day.
Is a glass of wine and a deep breath acceptable at 9am? *hopeful*

Claire- Sounds like you had a nice day, that is great. I wish I could go with the flow better. I get myself in a loop, and it makes is all worse. I live for my to-do lists though.

xoxo!

Morning ... thinking of all those who were lost in 911 and all of the loved ones left behind!! A sad day for our American friends!! We greive along side of you!

Chris - OMG not a good way to start your day!! Bad Jaida!! Yuck not a nice mess to clean up for sure!! Hope your temps warm up a bit today, but 63 really is not that cold Chris!! I did manage to find a few more items for SIL's gift basket. I am sure she will be very pleased with it! After stepping in dog pooo this morning I would say yup to a glass of wine at 9am!! :becky: Don't let your to-do list get you down, it will all get done sooner or later!

I am off to get breakfast and then get ready for my SIL to come for a visit and a tour of the properties she is interested in looking at. Some are just around the corner from us :fear: LOL hubby is not impressed!! :becky: Hope you all have a fabulous Friday!!

CHRIS! I cannot imagine your morning! SERIOUSLY???!!!! I'm speechless.

Loving our gorgeous weather. We were on the golf course yesterday. You may have noticed I didn't say "playing golf!" LOL Actually, Cpt. Romance played very well. I had one good hole, and a dozen decent shots, but mostly felt like I had no idea how to swing a golf club! So I sent a text to our golf-buddy-coach (our AZ host), who was on a golf course in Alaska. Just one quick word from him, and I had an amazing 18th hole. Wish I'd texted him sooner! Here's Dave putting. As you can see, the setting is spectacular...at the base of Mt. Si, east of Seattle.

It was a wonderful place to be, despite my athletic shortcomings!

I was alone in the pool this morning. Still no word about what is happening about the re-opening of the other pool (meaning the end of the early morning session at "my" pool).

Today we're going to do a Geezer Run (Costco, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc.).

OH! I don't think I have been here since we had our bread from the recipe I posted the other day. IT WAS GLORIOUS! We each had a chunk right out of the oven, drenched in butter, then more later with our dinner salad. sigh........

Football season opened last night with the Seahawks' two nemeses (is that plural for nemesis?)...two teams that beat them in Superbowls--New England vs Pittsburgh. Since we lived near Boston for a couple years, New England is our 2nd favorite team, despite all the politics, so were happy they won. Gronkowski was awesome.

Trudy, hope SO much for your sake your SIL doesn't move close in. What a life-changer THAT could be.

I never would have thought that Cyber Friends could come to be important, but you all have, and I appreciate each one of you.

Time to top me off with more coffee.

Thinking of 9/11 is always hard, but I counter it with remembering it would be my father's birthday (111) today along with his mother's and my mother's grandmother. Strange that three family members I knew were born this day. Earlier it was a clear beautiful day just like 2001 but expect rain later.

Chris!! I too am aghast at the start to your morning. Hoping it gets lots better. I too vote for wine at 9am in the circumstance. :partywine

Trudy, I'm wishing too that SIL doesn't get too close. Hope you have a good day though out looking.

Sharron, That golf shot is fabulous! What a gorgeous view. I've never played golf but birding has gotten us to lots of great places (although also dumps and such. LOL). Glad the bread was as wonderful as you expected. On the football side, I really don't appreciate the game but have seen lots of them. Meanwhile I was rooting for the Steelers our archrivals, but closest thing to a home team the years the Browns did not exist.

Thinking of Nancy out in western places and Ms. Phylis in absentia.

Thanks to all of you for being here for me! It does feel good. ::grouphug
