Happy Friday to all of you! :yo:
While I am still in a lot of pain, the sun is shining and tomorrow I won't have to deal with my alarm clock.
I was outside yesterday morning, waiting for the dogs to finish up their pottying, and I unwrapped the string of Halloween lights that were making me crazy and re-did them I know that I would and the timing was perfect. However, I was running so slowly, that I didn;t get to the supermarket until well after 9 and the place was so crowded already. That was so frustrating. My town desperately needs another grocery store. The store keeps moving things around to make it look more presentable (not working) but the produce is still horrible and the prices keep going up. not to mention, no one can find anything, not even the employees trying to do Shop from Home orders.
I spoke to my mom and asked her if she had spoken to my Aunt at all. She lives in Boca Raton, and my cousin lives in Boyton Beach. My aunt won't evacuate in spite of my mom trying to get her to at least go to her DD's house which is more inland than hers. Stubborn women in my family hhhmph.
The highlight of my day was to redecorate my little Faery house on the from porch. I have an arbor that MIL gave me, it had fallen apart but nothing that hot glue couldn't fix. Then I added some fake spiderwebs, some acorns, and now it is spooky
Today is Cait's appt and I am not looking fwd to sitting in those hard chairs with my back all messed up. I think I am going to slap on a million pain patches before we leave.
I hope that anyone who read this on the SE Coast stays safe, I know Cindy is in the midst of it. Kat- I think by the time it hits your area it won't be as bad hopefully, and we are only expected to get rain. the Shore will probably get some rough surf, but it should be anything too bad.
hugs and love to all!
