Wow. I am shocked at how fast this week went by. Wasn't I just "celebrating" last week's TGIF yesterday? I don't know why this week flew by, I didn't do anything spectacular. In fact, I think I had more free time this week than I had in a while.
I still wasn't feeling 100% in the morning, my head was killing me and it didn't help that Floyd was doing his meow-screech at me either. I was helping Cait study for a big test today and he sat at the top of the stairs and screamed. He didn't want or need anything other than attention. But with him yammering on in view of the dogs which made them bark and my eyes hurt and
I left a message for my mom to wish her good luck and spoke with her in the afternoon. The Rehab sounds like it is going to be super helpful for her. She needs to stop reading so much into what people say or how they say it. It makes her stress over things I don't think she needs to stress about. She will start with 2 sessions a week and then hopefully be able to move to three. The program runs for 12 weeks.
She asked me to help her read some blood work results. So many years of reading mine and the kids with the Lyme tests, I can usually figure out what is what. I logged into her account and I think seeing it all there in black and white-- actually all of them out of range results in red... Well I guess that made it seem more real to me. But like I said to her, her Dr has all of that info and is treating her accordingly. If the cholesterol is high but has her on meds-- don't worry about the actual numbers. He doesn't want to see her for a few weeks so that also has to mean that she is stable. All "good" news. (Right?? It is not easy being a DD trying not to worry haha!)
I also spent some time looking at color swatches online for the paint I want to get for the LR. It is going to be hard to get the right shade of grey. There are sooo many! (More than 50!) I need Gary to help me with the calculations on how much paint I will need too. Numbers are not my forte.
It looks like today is going to be a decent day to rake so that will be my plan. Right now I am off to post this so I can help Caitlyn study a bit more.
Hugs!
